Madison gave a nod and smile to emma. her reassurance was all madison needed. she chuckled at the two's little bet. "I can take the camera once I get up there and film you two hooligans." she laughed as she approached the ladder. she took a nice deep breath before jumping up and securing her hold on a peg. she then pulled herself up easily and once she got both feet on a peg securely she turned over her shoulder.
the jump and pull-up was easy for her with her background of kick boxing and dance. she was rather strong and athletic. "alright pass up the camera!" she called down to Colby, bending down and extending her arm. once she got a hold of the camera with one hand she began to climb. once at the top she handed the camera off to sam as he helped her up onto the platform.
"alright, emma come on up." madison smiled, moving over to give her room. she got curious and peeked inside the warehouse. it was vast and black, madison found it hard to make anything out. she turned back around and looked towards the ground at the two. madison gave emma two thumbs up to show she was rooting for her in this fun little competition.
sam waited at the top as they all discussed how to get up the ladder. madison went next, and once she was near the top he took the camera from her and helped her up. "hey look you made it! wasn't so bad was it?' he questioned with a smile. she shook her head 'no' and smiled back.
sam turned his attention to the bottom of the ladder as colby and emma discussed their little bet. he pointed the camera down at them and zoomed in slightly so you could see them better. the sun was almost done setting on the horizon and soon they would be engulfed in the darkness of night. there was supposedly a full moon tonight so that would provide some light.
"hurry up guys, we have a lot of ground to cover!" sam reminded them. he looked towards madison. "hey once you help emma up the two of you should go ahead inside the door so colby has room to get up." he told her, thinking ahead. once colby was up they needed to go inside and go down the stairs to the floor of the warehouse. then they needed to find the entrance to the tunnels. if sam remembered correctly, then there should be a stairwell that led down to two doors they should be able to open and then be inside the tunnels.
they just couldn't get lost so they needed to make sure of their path. it wasn't windy or maze like, but there were different paths that you could take. they would just need to be aware of that and he made a mental note to remind everyone once they found the doors before they entered the tunnels. they also needed to be aware and prepared for what they could find in those tunnels.
