  • POUR ME A HEAVY DOSE OF ATMOSPHERE

teacuptempest / [♀] / tags & information / mute, speaks in small noises & telepathy

*:・゚✦ In her previous lives, Belladonna's dreams had some semblance of control over her. As much as Teacuptempest didn't understand much of hers, it had carried along to her, too - something she understood when she suddenly came upon a particularly odd nightmare.

Her eyes flickered open to nothing but darkness - a dark, purple convulsing curl of shadows that pulsed back and forth like water, like thick, dense smoke that would briefly part to give a glimpse of more darkness. She took a step forward, her eyes shooting down to her paws to notice they weren't her own - or at least not her usual fishy webbed ones. They were large, feline, but large - and she saw herself reflected back at her instead of her shadow, like the floor was a mirror. She was a jaguar, with a somewhat thick coat, but a pretty shade of dark diluted purples. Her legs were a faded lavender that stretched up and blended into her rosette spots across the top of her legs; and as always, her eyes were the same. They were always the same tawny yellow-gold.

But why was she there, in this place? she could see shadows in the smoke in front of her, voices calling out to her - but she couldn't recognize them, at least not properly. There was a few she recognized by voice - Ravelights, Softvelvet, Chicagocrimes, Flynn - but there was plenty she didn't. A white wolf, a dark brown dog with a glowing halo, and a malamute - but wait, no, she... she recognized him.

That was... him. The one that hurt Belladonna. The one that ruined everything. Teacuptempest's ears flicked backwards, her eyes narrowing - the figure in the smoke lurched, flames engulfing him as he seemed to move towards her - and she flinched, trying to pull her water elementals up towards her, to guard her - but he broke straight through, diving straight for her throat-

And her eyes snapped wide, awake. She let out a gasp, like she'd been drowning, as she glanced around - she wasn't in her fish-cat body anymore, she was.. she was the jaguar. This was her now. She briefly opened her mouth - but she quickly shut it. She wasn't sure if she could speak again. She wasn't ready yet. Instead she slowly got to her feet and padded out into the Solaris camp - she needed a damn cup of tea.

  • Dreams and desires of a new body - of the past that couldn't be turned away no matter how tightly you squeezed your eyes shut. Perhaps in some way Plague could find some agreement in how that feeling was. Though, she supposed, a difference was the inability to choose, on Tea's end.

A new body - how fantastic.

She wondered if it had been sought after.

The dead didn't sleep, not traditionally.

Plague couldn't recall if she missed it - sleep, that is.

But, a spirit had many knowings - never needing to sleep meant you were quite aware. The skeleton - fumbling around unsure what to do - had spotted their dear leader. A grin came to decapitated flesh before she had to think again.

A jaguar, no, no, that wasn't Tea.

But... it felt like Tea, the same spirit.

There was an odd sort of...worry - perhaps uncertainty instead - in the dead lass' impossible heart. It looked like Tea, yes, it had to. The colours, the walk, the-

The sight of the feline's eyes was confirmation enough.

"TEAAAAAA!" she called, bones rattling as she trotted over.

That is you right? she almost asked.

"Lovin' the new look, did you do something with your hair?" she chattered in a tease - though even a deaf man could spot the concern and uncertainty in her voice.

*:・゚✦ Tea looked a bit startled by Plague Cleric's greeting, although she let out a small laugh at the female's joke. "Hey, Plague. I'm... I'm glad you like it... I just kinda... woke up like this," it was nice to finally speak, if anything - maybe the others wouldn't be so bothered by her telepathy now. "Ugh. I slept awful. I don't suppose you'd like to share a cup of tea with me? might make me feel better after the nightmares." she asked, gesturing to the gardens - she had a small empty house out there that she'd refurbished into a tea house, hadn't had much of a chance to show anyone yet.

  • ❝ BITTERSWEET ❞ tea? that wasnt tea. tea was mute.. and definitely not a feline. the large dragon held back any snarky comments, pushing up a smile on his muzzle. he had to be nice, no matter how much he just did not feel like it today. "nice... uh.. change your majesty." he just couldn't help himself, could he? he was very proud of teacuptempest for taking over but today was just not a good day for him, he supposed? rolling his eyes at his own snappy attitude, the large dragon looked down at the two, gritting his teeth at plague's loudness. to lighten up his own mood, the dragon grinned, almost playfully malicious, attempting to spit water on top of tea's head. "maybe that will wake you up, a bit." he giggled, dragonic eyes finally softening.

  • Plague's disconnected head tipped to the side curiously. Didn't seem to be normal to just...wake up in a different body. Plague felt like asking - ohhh she truly did - but...perhaps it'd be better for Tea to explain it.

The skeleton didn't want to push any anxiety or such...

...it was nice to hear Tea's voice.

Following the gesture Plague nodded happily.

"I'd love to- err... well! I'll sit across from you and let you tell me about your favourite tea! I...can't drink and all! OOoh! Or maybe you could tell me about this dream, or, or, we can talk about something so far irrelevant that you'll be distracted from it and never have to think about it!"

Her skull tipped back to greet Cocoa, a happy 'good morning' chirping from the floating head's maw.

What a fun little gathering they had here!!

Her jaw fell open at Cocoa's drizzle of water over their leader - her bones rattled as if shuddering.

    "Grooosssss!"

*:・゚✦ Before Cocoa's spit even touched a single hair on her body, Teacuptempest used her own water elementals to stop it mid air - a pool of water hung on top of her head, and wordlessly, she moved it to the side and dropped it out of splashing range of her or Plague. Letting out a huff, Tea's ears flattened. "Not funny, Cocoa." she said flatly, before letting out a sigh - of course Plague couldn't drink, but... "There's always other senses, with the tea. The warmth wafting up from the cup, the smell of the flowers and herbs. I can find you a particularly aromatic one." she suggested, before her gaze shifted to Cocoa. She didn't particularily like his snappiness, especially not after she already felt miserable from the nightmare. She didn't want to, but she spoke again to him anyway. "I don't suppose you'd like to join us, Cocoa?"

  • Ravelights had seen belladonna grow into several different forms. He knew she could shapeshift, like how she turned to aegis and then the old tea and now this. The jaguar was new though, teacuptempest was always smaller, shorter, cuter? No, not like that. He meant, smaller than him. But now they were around the same size. He was unsure since ravelights was taller than the average caracal, he would have to size her up when he got closer. Although, they did have some high tensions at the moment, just be as nice as possible, right? He listened into the conversation, surprised by the familiar voice. Did he miss it? Maybe..? It was soft, gentle enough to calm it down but he was still on edge over their last, conversation. "you can talk now? nice." he simply said, sitting down.

  • RED BLOOMETH THE ROSE OF CONVICTION ❞ "And now blissfully you can stay out of everyone's head." It comes off less bitter than most of his statements, just the feeling of having someone poking around in his head is not one that Andras enjoys. There is much up there that he would prefer stays unexplored, and he would not be alone in that train of thought should any of it come to light. He may not have the reputation of a "good man" to uphold as he once did but there are ghosts that should stay haunting him and him only.

It's a nice new form though. She looks pretty. A little on the small side, but he can't fault anyone for that. He supposes he's a little on the dead side though if people were to nitpick appearances. Still, he knows where he's not wanted and a pleasant tea party is one of them. And so, he simply walks off after seeing people gathered there.

*:・゚✦ Tea should have been thankful that Rave was at least trying to be nice, but he was right - tensions were still high, and she wasn't really interested in talking to him. "Right," she curtly responded, and with that sour note in her mind, she turned to Andras, with his crass, had already turned tail - and her ears flattening, she yelled out to him, "Up yours too, Andras!" although it was evident there was a hint of playfulness to her tone; either way, she just wanted some Tea. Gesturing to Plague to follow - and Cocoa if he wanted to - she started to pad away from the others, to lead them to the gardens and her little tea hut.
