*:・゚✦ In her previous lives, Belladonna's dreams had some semblance of control over her. As much as Teacuptempest didn't understand much of hers, it had carried along to her, too - something she understood when she suddenly came upon a particularly odd nightmare.
Her eyes flickered open to nothing but darkness - a dark, purple convulsing curl of shadows that pulsed back and forth like water, like thick, dense smoke that would briefly part to give a glimpse of more darkness. She took a step forward, her eyes shooting down to her paws to notice they weren't her own - or at least not her usual fishy webbed ones. They were large, feline, but large - and she saw herself reflected back at her instead of her shadow, like the floor was a mirror. She was a jaguar, with a somewhat thick coat, but a pretty shade of dark diluted purples. Her legs were a faded lavender that stretched up and blended into her rosette spots across the top of her legs; and as always, her eyes were the same. They were always the same tawny yellow-gold.
But why was she there, in this place? she could see shadows in the smoke in front of her, voices calling out to her - but she couldn't recognize them, at least not properly. There was a few she recognized by voice - Ravelights, Softvelvet, Chicagocrimes, Flynn - but there was plenty she didn't. A white wolf, a dark brown dog with a glowing halo, and a malamute - but wait, no, she... she recognized him.
That was... him. The one that hurt Belladonna. The one that ruined everything. Teacuptempest's ears flicked backwards, her eyes narrowing - the figure in the smoke lurched, flames engulfing him as he seemed to move towards her - and she flinched, trying to pull her water elementals up towards her, to guard her - but he broke straight through, diving straight for her throat-
And her eyes snapped wide, awake. She let out a gasp, like she'd been drowning, as she glanced around - she wasn't in her fish-cat body anymore, she was.. she was the jaguar. This was her now. She briefly opened her mouth - but she quickly shut it. She wasn't sure if she could speak again. She wasn't ready yet. Instead she slowly got to her feet and padded out into the Solaris camp - she needed a damn cup of tea.
"Speech."
