  • POUR ME A HEAVY DOSE OF ATMOSPHERE

teacuptempest / [♀] / tags & information / mute, speaks in small noises & telepathy

*:・゚✦ Ever since discovering the small cove, Tea was excited to host some sort of event; she decided to keep it small since there wasn't much room across the small beach for anything extravagant, but she offered some towels and drinks - her own recipe of iced tea, of course. "Solaris! we're gonna have a beach party!" she transmitted, hoping the others would be as excited as she was; hopefully. Teacuptempest herself expected to be a good hostess, but she wasn't going to miss out on the fun. Slipping into the shallows, she let herself float on the water, a dark streak in a sea of crystalline blue and yellow sand. Hopefully the others would arrive soon.

  • Ravelights walked to the party slower than usual, his legs were aching due to all the walking he had done in the last day. There wasn't many herbs in the medic den when he saw it. He wondered how long they had went without a medic. Probably not long, correct? He had gathered enough herbs that he could find in the desert, he would have to travel for other ones but that could be done another day, for now he needed to relax. He saw teacup and trotted over, his eyes peering at the waves that slowly moved up and down. He wouldn't go in the water, firstly he was afraid of it and secondly he didn't know how to swim. Not a good combo but he would surely sit and watch everyone, without being too suspicious of him not going into the water of course. "nice."

    ✧ — KEEP MY SECRETS / TAGS

  • Joshua wasn't one for much physical activity - that included swimming. It wasn't an inability or lack of interest, no rather simply the fox being his usual lazy self. At the very least he was thankful for the beach, the air was cooler and it felt far more...comforting than the simple expanses of the desert.

His arrival was quiet, yet still he greeted the others as he passed, tails careful to keep the sand out of his fur.

Tea was quite the easy one to spot - quite the contrast against darling blue waters. He couldn't help a small, amused ear twitch. The water lapped at Joshua's paws as he grew closer, a shiver going down his spine at the sudden change.

"Seems to be quite the bit of fun, then, is it?" he asked their leader, not moving further into the waves.

Smiling the usually less than social fox gazed out at the waters.

"I know it gets freezing at night... but I think it would be fantastic if we stayed until at least dusk..."

The mere idea of such a pretty sight, goodness, Joshua was quite keen!

*:・゚✦ Teacup glanced up to Ravelights and Joshua, a smile gently resting on her face. At Joshua's comment, she nodded. "It might be quite cool actually, I haven't had the time to come out here later though." she made a mental note to do that later; for now, she got up and came out of the shallows, gently shaking her fur for a moment before padding to her clanmates. "Can I get you anything?" she asked, gesturing to the food and drinks. "You should give my iced tea a try."

    "Speech."

  • "A beach party?!"

Loud voice seems to near echo, the dark furred feline near vibrating with pure excitement. He had only just gotten back to the Solaris Kingdom from going back home to see how the Sanctuary were doing and although it was still the midst of winter back there, the kingdom and it's sand laden territory was an entirely other story. It was like some kind of an exotic holiday every time he ventured out to make the trip to his second home and here he was, stumbling back only to hear Tea's announcement. Luckily, he had just gotten into the acceptable range to catch the leader's call. Instantly, all sense of exhaustion or upset seemed to melt from his shoulders, the boy not even stopping to drop his satchel off in his room as he instead approaches the scene where aforementioned 'beach party' is to be taking place.

The sight of strangers, which would have usually unneeded him to at least some small degree, has little to no impact on him in that moment where his mind is much more focused on the prospect of something new and exciting. "Hope you guys don't mind me joining in on the fun." Truthfully, he could care less what they thought about him wanting to partake in the party too. If he wanted to get involved then hell nor high heaven would be able to drag him away and that was that.

It doesn't even cross his mind that it would probably be appropriate to introduce himself to these Solarians, feathery tail swishing in anticipation as he hones in on the water that Tea had, moments before, emerged from with deep desire. Since he had not heard her mention drinks as he had approached when the matter was being discussed, the tunnel vision of his mind had already found something to be occupied by. "I can't swim for shit." The statement is made loosely almost as if it's a fact about him that does not matter at all as eyes of eager cornflower blue size up the sapphire sea in zeal. Tearing his focus off of the ocean, his attention then turns to Teacuptempest, gentle laughter on his tongue rolling free as soft snickering as he speaks up once more. "You've got my back though, right lifeguard leader?"

  • RED BLOOMETH THE ROSE OF CONVICTION ❞ He really doesn't feel like attending this. Still, he is here. Whilst he will not be swimming since he never... Actually learned how to swim. It was something that he wasn't too forward about - after all, he was trying to paint an image of being someone that wasn't able to be phased by things like that. He didn't want people to fucking bother him, and yet everyone felt the need to try to correct his behaviour.

Did people not have the respect to let a man destroy himself in peace?

He takes an ice tea, sitting close towards the shore and taking a long sip. Hmm... It's not bad, but it's not alcoholic. There's a quick fix to that.

*:・゚✦ Tea's attention was quickly snatched by Rosepaw, one of their newest members - who looked rather eager, if anything. That made Tea happy; it was nice to have clanmates that got involved. At his question, she gave a thumbs up awkwardly with a webbed paw, "You got it," she chimed telepathically, gesturing to the sea with her tail; she wouldn't mind helping anyone who couldn't swim. Spotting Andras lurking in the back, she called out, "Do you like the tea?"
