“Maverick...” Eva frowned, ears flattening.
“I can’t believe it...”

They heard the phone ringing

“Huh...?” Maverick walked over, picking up the phone

“Yoooo Maverick. Do you and Eva mind wast hing Little Yosh for a while?”

“Of course, we’ll be there now.” Maverick smiled softly, then looked to Eva.
“Wanna go watch Yoshi?”
“Of course...~”

When they get there, they found Trekker, and he had Baby Mario on his back!

“Mario?!” Maverick’s eyes widening.
“What- huh?”

“I was just walking and all of a sudden the little guy landed on my back.” Trekker said

“What are the chances of that, huh...?”

“I managed to figure out what happened, so me and my buddies are goons being the little guy to help reunite him with his brother and send them on their way to their new home”

“Huh... good luck.”

Trekker nodded “Thanks.”
Baby Mario managed to wave to Maverick

Maverick smiled softly, returning the wave

The baby Yoshi toddled over to Eva, but tripped and face planted the ground instead

Eva frowned softly with a soft giggle, kneeling down to gently pick him up.
“Oopsie daisy...”

He was crying, as he had bumped his head

“Aww, come here...” she gently began rocking him, stepping into the house with him

He sniffles before quietly falling asleep in her arms
