Iris | 48 moons | Rogue | Female | Bisexual | Interacting: Dasher  fluff puff

The light-furred molly peered quietly out from behind Dasher, her icy blue eyes fixed on the ship and it's current inhabitants. She gave a small snort of amusement and shook her head at Jada's comments. "... Well, well, well." She purred softly under her breath and stood up, her eyes flashing. Her gaze caught sight of a silver tom leading a small group to the front of the ship. He appeared to have an air of authority about him. One of the higher-ups, perhaps. Ooh, how fun! She bared her teeth, her tail lashing. "I call the silver one." She mewed gruffly and glanced over at Dasher with a smirk. "Care to join me?"

Hailshine | 62 moons | Deputy | Male | Bisexual | Love Interest: TBD | Apprentice: Woolypaw | Interacting: Dunepaw, Mountainsky, Stormbranch  wrenbird.   TeenWolfie   marcola

Hailshine dipped his head in response to Darkstar's orders and waited patiently for the members of his patrol to gather around. As soon as everyone had gathered, he turned abruptly and gave a flick of his tail, leading the way toward the front of the ship. It looked about the same as usual, really... But something felt off. He couldn't quite place his paw on it. But perhaps that was just his imagination. He glanced over his shoulder and gave his father a smirk. "How are you holding up, father?" He hadn't gotten much of a chance to interact with Stormbranch lately, due to his duties as deputy. But it was always nice to spend some time with the older tom.

  • - hollowsun's attention was turned onto chibipaw, his eyes unreadable. rogues? unwanted memories flooded his mind, of sneering faces, taunting voices that cut deeper than their claws ever could. every day was a living hell for him back then, a fight for survival that he had been steadily losing. it couldn't be them. it just couldn't.

but if it is... no big deal. i'm not the weak kid i was back then. i can take care of myself.

he wanted to ask chibipaw for more information, but darkstar was already leaving with the rest of the patrol. hollowsun trotted after him, his senses on high alert now. the shadows loomed threateningly over the cats now. he almost couldn't hear the ominous creaking of metal over his pounding heart. it grew louder with each step he took, turning almost deafening in the tense silence that surrounded the cats now. | mentions the rest of the patrol

jada glared at myrina, tail lashing. but she didn't say anything, as the other molly had already changed the subject. her orange eyes observed the cats splitting up before her, her tail lashing in barely contained excitement. "dumb move. but makes it easier for us to take 'em out!" she chirped, her smile returning. "that greyish one is all mine!"

without even waiting for the others' responses, jada trotted off towards her chosen group, her dark pelt melting seamlessly into the shadows. | the rogues

  • Dasher nearly stopped Click, a fiery heat broadening his nostrils in a flare of irritation. Obviously there was an acknowledged but unaddressed power struggle in the group. He gave a huff and provided Click a hardened glare at the back of his head, muttering to himself. "Idiot."

Regardless, he turned to Iris with a smirk, his tail lashing with thirst. "Indeed, m'lady. I would love to." He responded right before Jada left for a different group, and he nearly laughed at their blood thirst.

"Keep in mind, we might want a prisoner. Make Snapdragon proud, ya'know?" Dasher called to the other two. He began delicately walking down the sand dune, keeping in the shadows of the ship and smelling the air. He would go after what would seem as a leader of the group, told by their posture and the fact they were leading a group of a few others.

"Psst, Iris. O'er here." He bent down, looking at the group (Hailshine's group.) He gave a small purr of eagerness. "Look here. That's out target, the one you called." As he gave a closer look, careful not to give his location away anymore than they were, he began analyzing and judging the group.

"Looks pretty easy, if I say so myself."

Saltfire was not amused by Eveningwar's manner, and instead of bantering her to be positive, he simply gave her space and turned to Emberwatcher who'd just approached them. Now, this is a cat he could talk to.

"No worries." He responds reassuringly, turning his direction towards a different part of the ship. However, before he could move forward, the air around them shifted into a tense and anticipated one. Something was coming. He could smell foreign scents wafting faintly. Saltfire's fur stood on end, a chill running down his spine.

"Hold." He spoke, turning around and noticing Darkstar's crazed and fearful features down the ship. Though he was far, he could smell their tension, and looked around the ship with perked ears. He crouched a little, looking around for Hailshine and noticing him not too far off. He, too, looked worried.

"Heads up. Something's amiss. I don't know what." He kept calm, keeping attentive, looking back between Hailshine and Darkstar to see their motives and moves on the situation.

  • Darkstar | Trans Male | 51 Moons | Apprentice: Serpentpaw | Interacting with: Hollowsun (@cataclysm!) & Serpentpaw (@M A Y C I E) & Talldawn (@Atlas) & Chibipaw (@Insanityflame)

With his attention focused ahead on his tribe mates' safety and with the burning smell of oil in his throat, Darkstar missed the initial hints that he walking into a trap. All he cared about was making sure they made it to solid ground. So when a rock-hard presence hit him from the side, Darkstar's mind went blank for a few seconds.

In those precious seconds, survival and years of training kicked in. Darkstar found himself suddenly thanking his mentor for all of his hard work, otherwise he'd have died in the jaws of the cat that had launched itself at him.

Going limp under his attacker, Darkstar rolled with the feline until his own back slammed into the floor of the ship. Using their momentum, Darkstar shoved the tom with his back legs, sending the tom crashing into an oil barrel. White hot pain seared from where the tom had clawed him, even having managed to take a piece of flesh from his shoulder with his jaws.

Darkstar snarled, his fur spiked in anger. "Who are you? What do you want?" The attack had shaken him. They were supposed to be safe here, just like their ancestors.

Darkstar watched as the tom staggered his paws, sliding in the oil around him, but did not seem unnerved by the turn of events. As Click moved, Darkstar mirrored him, worried about the apprentices mere steps away.

Click spit to the side, revealing blood stained teeth. With squelching steps, the rogue stalked forward, eyes only for Darkstar. But that was just a ruse in which Darkstar would acknowledge in hindsight.

The dark tom launched himself forward, swearving to head for Serpentpaw at the last minute, not Darkstar. Time seem to slow as the tom hurled through the air, inky black oil streaming off of his fur, teeth bared. Once again, instinct made the choice for Darkstar. He was moving before he even realized it.

He slammed into Click, never noticing the rogue's grin. His paws met oil, fur, and muscle as Darkstar pinned the tom down.

Panting, Darkstar glared at the gasping feline underneath his claws. Pressing the tom's muzzle into the oily floor, Darkstar leaned over him, relishing in the blood that welled up under his claws. "What were you expecting to happen?" He snarled, anger roaring in his ears. Serpentpaw's almost death played out in his mind over and over again on repeat. He had almost been too late.

Click let out a strangled laugh, startling Darkstar. What did I miss?

Click gurgled through the oil, raising up just enough to splutter, "This," before the floor gave out beneath the both of them.

OOC: dun Dun DUUNNNN!!! Also can you tell that I can't settle on a color I like?

  • - hollowsun jumped back, hissing, as a flash of dark fur slammed into darkstar right in front of him. a familiar scent swept over him, one that he thought he would never smell again. it is them, then.what do they want? he watched the two cats grappling with each other, waiting for an opportunity to arise for him to launch an attack of his own. but it seemed as if darkstar had it covered on his own so far. the floor creaked under the weight of the fighting cats, a dip forming around them as darkstar pinned the other to the ground. realization dawned on hollowsun. "darkstar, you idiot, get away from-" he was too late. the floor collapsed beneath the two, sending them plummeting to the level below. hollowsun backed away from the gaping hole, his eyes uncharacteristically wide.

once his shock had ebbed away, hollowsun looked over to talldawn. "we need to get out of here before the floor gives on us, too." | darkstar Rontu && talldawn Atlas && mentions click

jada stalked the small group of cats she had picked, her claws unsheathed. yowls of battling cats erupted in the distance. a smile graced her facial features, her tail lashing wildly behind her. it's begun! with a loud caterwaul, she launched herself at the head of the group, her claws aiming to tear away as much flesh as she could, her teeth snapping at whatever body part she could sink them into. | saltfire fluff puff

Anthawk looked over as Bulleteyes and Smokestorm approached. He flicked his ear and stood up, still smiling as he approached. "Present. What do you need?" He'd already spied the she-cat's paw, but was curious as to why the other was here. Last he'd checked, Bulleteyes had been roaming the makeshift camp aimlessly. Oh well. Bulleteyes was their own cat. // Rontu

Eveningwar looked about just as Jada came down on Saltfire. Snarling, she leapt and attempted to knock right into the she, suddenly determined to protect her deputy. After her attack, Eveningwar leapt back, tail lashing. "Keep your filthy claws away from him," she spat, blue eyes blazing. Now she was in the moment, Eve wasn't grumpy about the cats she was on patrol with now. This was her element. // cataclysm! sorry if y'all were planning on a salt & jada fight oof

Bulleteyes smiled and awkwardly followed Smokestorm, standing stiffly beside her as Anthawk approached the two. They didn't really have anything to say. They were just escorting Smokestorm - the cat they conveniently had actually taken an interest in for moons - to the shaman's den. Then they'd go back to doing whatever...they had been doing. Which was nothing. // Rontu

  • Myrina . Rogue . Open to be killed/injured . Interaction: Click, Jada & Eveningwar

OOC: HAD to just get this post out, too hard to resist! Will get the others up tomorrow, g'night!

The she-cat returned the nod given to her by Click as she watched the tom stalk off, eventually the rest of the rogues began to head out after their own targets, her paws willed her to follow after the tom as anxiety began to stir within her, but spotting Jada heading in another direction on her own ended up making the decision for her. With steely eyes rolling in annoyance once more she set off after the other she-cat, she knew wherever Jada's paws carried her, trouble was soon to follow. Maybe she did in fact want a little trouble of her own, a smirk soon rose to her face once more as she shadowed the she-cat, her paws silent and placed skilfully. Whilst she followed the rogue in front of her blindly, her eyes cast down towards the group they were stalking, instantly feeling herself drawn to the bengal tabby, though confusion clouded her mind. In an instant Myrina grew frustrated with herself, noticing too late that her companion had already descended upon their targets, not at all sneaking up on them like she'd planned. For a moment she was almost content to let the rogue learn her lesson the hard way and be clawed to death on her own, but even as much as she disliked the annoying Jada, Myrina couldn't stand by and let one of their own fight alone. Her interest heightened even more so as the bengal was quick to attack Jada, her gaze followed the she-cat's movements closely and for an unknown reason there was something that set her apart from the rest of the patrol, familiarity clung to her fur, and yet Myrina was sure she'd never seen her before. Shaking off the weird feeling that this was somehow wrong, the white she-cat lowered her body and sprung down upon the bengal, landing square on the she-cat's back, her claws unsheathed and digging as deep as they could, her attack remained silent from years of training and expertise.

She lightly shocked when the stranger tom attacked Saltfire for nowhere, getting a Small jump backwards as she tryed to figure out what did just happen. Thought she could see far that this rogue was seriously attacking the deputy, her ears flattered when she noticed a another cat appearing there too. She hated fighting, but situations like this, it was the only way as long the rogues didn't want to speak it up "So who are you?" she called out with a angry tune, keeping his eyes landed to the two loners, showing her claws.

She looked nervously as the Darkstar's and any other patrols left to do their own rounds, even if it was pretty everday task to go out of a patrol, today she had a horrible feelings. Probably because they was into that ship and she was very sure they was not alone there. Eventually she wanted to something else to think, so she walked around to look for Scorchpaw "Scorchpaw? Are you tired? Do you want to do a little huntings? there could be some lizards and some others Small preys to be found" she meowed smilling at the apprentice gently

His eyes widened with fear and little panic "...that's one of the rogues" he called out with loud snarl.

The white she-cat was grooming her dirty pelt, which was covered by sand, her eyes looked at Poppypaw who she noticed to go to get some rest likelly as the other apprentice disappeared to their new ship den. Shaking her pelt, she looked over to Batpaw "Bloomfall?" she repeated the spiders name, when remembere what the Darkstar mentioined moment ago "Oh yeah, Darkstar asked her to go to get some wet moss with Mossfire" she answered to him with a shy smile.

jada's assault was cut short by eveningwar's retaliation. the rogue was sent tumbling away from saltfire, coming to a halt a foxlength away. orange eyes met furious blue ones, her smile falling. "don't you know it's rude to interrupt?" she hissed back, keeping both cats in her sight. she wouldn't put it above them to attack her from behind mid-sentence.

her attention shifted away from saltfire to watch myrina descend upon the other molly. smirking, she observed the tussle for a moment, only breaking her gaze away from the battle when the other she-cat in the patrol spoke up. tutting, jada stalked towards emberwatcher, circling the molly like a predator closing in on it's prey. "is that any way to speak to a friend?" she taunted, malice creeping into her voice. her claws flexed as she drew closer to the tribe cat, yearning to sink themselves into the flesh of her opponents. she shot a look at saltfire, one filled with malevolent meaning. "don't you worry, pal, i haven't forgotten about you just yet! this'll only take a second."

without warning, jada lunged at emberwatcher, paws outstretched in an attempt to hook them around her neck and drag her to the ground. | eveningwar tubig . && emberwatcher Insanityflame && saltfire fluff puff && mentions myrina TeenWolfie

  • Iris | 48 moons | Rogue | Female | Bisexual | Open to be injured/killed | Interacting: Dasher fluff puff

"Indeed." Iris purred softly as she quietly followed the tom, her gaze fixed on the small patrol still unaware of the events to come. A thrill of excitement rushed through her, causing her fur to prickle. She gave a wide grin. "You can take the silver one up front. I'll take the grey one behind him." Comparing the two grey toms in the patrol, she wondered if they were related in some way. This was going to be good. She crouched down, hiding in the shadows. As much as she wanted to rush in and attack, she would wait for Dasher's signal. Patience was key here. "Whenever you're ready, go ahead and give a signal. I'll be right behind you."

She flicked her ears rather unsure when the other rogue looked at her way, aggressivelly, she didn't look away from her even for a blink. She only standed her and kind of waited the she-cat to take a move, as it ws very clear that she could not let her go without a fight. As she attacked to her, she did protect her neck for any hits and kepeed her balance for now "sorry I seriously don't want to fight, but you don't really give other choises" she murmured kind of a sad voice. She sinked her fangs to her shoulder and tryed to struggle the she-cat away from her.

  • GNATPAW -- 9 Moons -- Male -- Shaman Apprentice -- Mentor: Anthawk | Interacting: Anthawk tubig . Mentions: Bulleteyes & Smokestorm & Morningpaw

Gnatpaw stared up at the ship, exhausted from the journey to the new camp. He was grateful for his small stature; it had allowed him to tread across the dunes without sinking in to far. Still, a nights worth of trekking across the desert was tiring for any cat. When he was walking it hadn't been too bad. But now he was stopped and his legs ached. Gnatpaw's mouth was dry from carrying bundles of herbs, and all he wanted to do was rest. Instead he was standing aimlessly outside their camp. The ship blocked the moon's light and shielded the stars from his view. There was a small gust of wind that ruffled his fur and uprooted the sand around his paws. He thought he'd be happier to reach the ship, it was where he was born after all. But all he felt was anxiety. Something didn't feel quite right. There was a stone in his stomach and he didn't know why. He glanced at the cats around him, all of them talking easily. Tired accomplishment was in their voice, happy to have made it to the ship. He was being stupid. He flexed his paws before taking off in the direction of Anthawk and the makeshift medicine den.

"Hey Anthawk," he greeted, voice muffled by the leaves in his maw. He nodded to Bulleteyes and Smokestorm and flashed a tired grin in Morningpaw's direction. He placed the bundle of herbs near his mentor's paws, making a small sound of disgust once his mouth was empty. He spotted Smokestorm favoring one paw over the other, she had obviously done something on her journey to the ship. He was much too exhausted to deal with that however, so he opted to ignore it. It seemed like Anthawk had it under control anyway.

//just wanted to establish his presence

  • OOC: Should I just jump in anywhere????

OOC: @Larchstorm, Yes feel free to jump in anywhere! Most cats are chilling in the main room, really just super tired from the trek. Darkstar sent out several patrols, but they are getting attacked right now. When they return, they'll bring news of the rogues. Not a lot has happened with the apprentices, so don't worry too much about that.

Typing a paper now, so I'll respond probs later tonight. <3

IC: The wind whistled through the cracks in the ship. Faint yowls of cats could be heard or mistaken for the wind, which was picking up in force.

  • Morningpaw . Apprentice . Mentor: Smokestorm . Interaction: Smokestorm & Gnatpaw ( Rontu   aeiou )

The voices around her had been drifting in an out, a small purr rising from her throat at the familiar feeling of a tongue rasping over her ears, the younger she-cat lifted her head and eventually opened her golden eyes once more, blinking up at her mentor. It took but a moment for the apprentice to realise what was said and her eyes rounded with worry as she scanned her mentor from where she stood, eventually locating the paw that seemed to cause Smokestorm some trouble, instantly Morningpaw felt bad for having leant against her and gave her mentor an apologetic glance. Finding herself too tired to even speak at this point, she returned the tired smile given to her by Gnatpaw, nuzzled Smokestorm's shoulder and headed off towards the makeshift nests, all but dropping to the ground beside the other sleeping apprentices, and in no time the white she-cat was fast asleep.

Mountainsky . SandWalker . Apprentice: Chasingpaw . Interaction: Stormbranch & Hailshine, mentions Dunepaw ( VocaFan53   marcola   wrenbird. )

The burly tom gave an amused snort at the tone of voice, shaking his large heard with the beginnings of a chuckle. He followed the grey tom closely, thick ears pricked and dark amber eyes darting between each crevice, no matter how small. The large tom couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, it felt like ants were crawling beneath his fur. A grumble rose in the tom's throat as he gave an unnoticeable shake of his head, he was just being paranoid, the ghostliness of the abandoned ship was getting to him. Dark eyes darted behind him for a moment, making sure that the apprentice was close by, Mountainsky kept his thick tail close to the apprentice's paws, wanting to be sure she was following at all times. His eyes returned to gaze in front of him as he watched Stormbranch carefully, the mountainous tom would never dream of disrespecting his former mentor, but he was well aware of the tom's age and his stubbornness to remain a warrior, he'd been keeping a careful eye on the tom since becoming a sandwalker, something he couldn't of done without his teachings. Mountainsky flicked an ear as the head of the patrol spoke up, though he turned his attention away in order to try and give the two toms a small bit of privacy to talk amongst themselves. He glanced over his broad shoulder once more to check up on Dunepaw, though he did it out of his own will, the darkened expression on his brooding face would say otherwise.

    Bloomfall . Spider . Apprentice: Batpaw . Interaction: Mossfire ( dreamy )

A smile crossed the Spider's delicate features as she glanced to her side, watching with amusement as the calico put on her own burst of speed to trot alongside her. The amusement in her green eyes only grew as Mossfire rushed to the nearing pond, laping up water as if she were bound to drop from dehydration at any moment. A gentle purr rumbled from the dilute tortie as she dropped the bundle of moss alongside the rest, easing her tired bones to the ground beside her companion, at a much slower pace than Mossfire, Bloomfall began to lap up some of the cool water, her eyes closing as the coolness soothed her parched throat. With a content sigh, the Spider began to dunk the pieces of moss beneath surface, wanting to be quick in order to return to the tribe with the promise of refreshing water. Bloomfall shared the she-cat's soft laughter, lifting her green gaze to the she-cat's glowing eyes, "Oh I know, I can barely wait myself. I'll just be glad to rest my jaws for a bit", another laugh followed as she swapped the soaking ball of moss for another dry one.

Myrina . Rogue . Open to be injured . Interaction: Eveningwar ( tubig . )

A snarl rose in the she-cat's throat as sharp teeth clamped down upon one of her paws, having found herself near reluctant to fight the she-cat before was but a distant memory now as fire rose in her steely eyes, she'd been itching for a good fight. Myrina ripped up her free front paw, trying to make it as painful as possible as she dislodged her sharpened claws from the bengal's shoulders, still keeping her hind paws dug as deeply as possible she was able to balance quite easily on the female's back. The two were near the same size, and so her earlier hope for being able to weigh down the tribe she-cat vanished as her mind whirled with differing thoughts of how she'd fight this particular cat. With her paw still clamped dangerously in her opponent's jaws, Myrina tried to push her hind legs back further though she did so without unhooking her claws, hoping to scrape down the she-cat's back and cause her enough pain to yowl. With her free front paw, the rogue battered at exposed ears, however the movement unbalanced her and caused Myrina to fall over the side of the she-cat.

  • Dunepaw | Interactions: Mountainsky [ TeenWolfie ]; grouped with: Stormbranch, Hailshine [ VocaFan53 marcola ]

Content to take up the rear of the patrol, Dunepaw let her eyes roam the corridor leading to the ship’s front. There were doors lined up along one side, some sealed shut by a ring of rust and others that opened into pitch black nothingness. Shadows seemed to roam from room to room behind her, but whenever the apprentice peered back over her shoulder, Dunepaw could see nothing but the dust her paws had displaced. The apprentice huffed to herself, letting her gaze fall to the ground as she kept pace. It would have been more fun to explore the ship in daylight, where she would’ve been able to discern things as real and not just tricks her imagination was playing on her.

The cold from the ship’s metal floor must have finally started seeping into her pelt, setting off a shiver that rattled its way down her spine and caused her legs to stiffen. Dunepaw felt her fur fluff up in response, standing rigid along her back. Her tail agitatedly jerked across the floor, sweeping up another blooming cloud of dust. The apprentice shifted her gait to glance back down the corridor, picking out nothing against the ordinary. A sense of unease weighed down on the tortie, and Dunepaw peeked up at Mountainsky to try and reassure herself that everything was as it should be, that she was only spooked because her lack of sleep was coming back to bite her. Catching the tom’s gaze, Dunepaw shuddered as a spike of anxiety nestled its way into her gut. The she-cat closed her eyes briefly as she shuffled forward to walk beside him rather than behind him, uncertainty clouding the comfort she’d sought to give herself.
