  • Hailshine | 62 moons | Deputy | Male | Bisexual | Love Interest: TBD | Apprentice: Woolypaw | Interacting: Pricklypurr, mentions Anthawk & Bloomfall  Rontu   tubig .   TeenWolfie

The tom chuckled softly as he ran alongside the elder, feeling the wind whipping through his fur as they ran. He glanced over as Bloomfall and Anthawk overtook them and put on a burst of speed, dashing into the water at full speed. Panting and huffing, Hailshine's pace soon slowed to a casual trot, admiring the view of the Star Flats with an amused flick of his tail. "Leave it to me!" He called back to Pricklypurr with a small smirk, continuing to walk at a fairly brisk pace. Taking a few moments to catch his breath, he glanced around him. The Star Flats really was a beautiful place. It never failed to leave him in awe, even after so many moons. He sighed softly as his fur began to lay flat once more and he began to regain his composure.

  • OOC: Alright! I'm going to do a time skip bc I feel like the Salt Flats are merely a filler for the journey. ((SORRY for the interruption for all the posts above this, meant to do this at a better stopping point)). The time skip launches the Tribe into dawn of the next day, just as they arrive at the Ship (an abandoned cargo ship, so quite massive [more specs/layouts to be placed on the plotting thread]). Most cats will be settling into the lower levels to sleep after the journey, after a little bit of housekeeping.

    IC:

    Pricklypurr | Female | 171 Moons | Retired Spider | Interacting with: The Tribe & Hailshine (@VocaFan53)

The massive ship had been on the horizon for hours. But that was how things worked in the desert. You could walk for what seemed like forever and never seem any closer to the destination. They had left the Salt Flats long behind, the shimmering stars only in the sky now.

As much as the elder tried not to, she eventually ended up relying heavily on Hailshine's help with the journey. Her joints simply didn't work as well as they used to and the soft sand wreaked havoc on her legs. The deputy's strong presence gave her strength when she simply wanted to plop down and rest for a full wet season.

But they finally reached the massive rusting ship, forever stuck in a sea of sand. The bulk of the ship blocked out the faint light of the setting moon, casting a dark shadow that swallowed the entire Tribe easily. Although the ship was an amazing sight to see, it always gave her an uneasy feeling with all of its silence and rust.

The two led the way into the rear of the ship, where a massive hole gave access into the lower decks of the ship. Despite the darkness, they followed the path they had for generations, leaving the hole behind to make their way into a large room that was mostly sealed from the elements other than a few holes in the side of the ship that allowed slivers of moonlight or sunlight in depending on the time of day.

Despite her thirst, Pricklypurr was more interested in plopping in one of the old nests from the previous Migration than making the small trek back outside to the tiny oasis that provided water for the tribe. Once her legs felt better, she'd get back up. Burying her muzzle into the dusty rug, Pricklypurr fell asleep quite suddenly, without meaning to.

    Darkstar | Trans Male | 51 Moons | Apprentice: Serpentpaw | Interacting with: The Tribe & Starlingkit & Swanfall (@M A Y C I E) & Mossfire (@dreamy) & Blossomfall (@TeenWolfie) & Cobrahiss (@Insanityflame) & Skyfall (@M A Y C I E) & Talldawn (@Atlas) & Hailshine (@VocaFan53) & Mountainsky (@TeenWolfie) & Stormbranch (@marcola) & Dunepaw (@wrenbird.) & Hollowsun (@cataclysm!) & Saltfire (@bari.) & Emberwatcher (@Insanityflame) & Eveningwar (@tubig.) & Serpentpaw (@M A Y C I E)

Darkstar sighed through Starlingkit's scruff as the ship's shadow swallowed them. It felt like coming home. Walking carefully to not disturb the sleeping kit in his jaws, Darkstar picked his way into the main room, satisfied to see that it seemed undisturbed as usual. But even then, it was better to be safe than sorry.

He picked his way to the far end of the room, where the nursery and Shaman's makeshift dens were made out of fallen shipping containers. Both spaces were covered in years' worth of supplies, mostly in the form of rugs, fabrics, and furs from the Sea Camp. It made for a very soft den and Darkstar always hated to leave it behind. Catching Swanfall's eyes, he set Starlingkit into one of the nests that was in view of the whole tribe, but still somewhat sheltered in the metal container.

He gazed around at all of his weary cats, trying to catalog who to assign where. "Mossfire and Blossomfall, take some moss down to oasis to get some water back up here. After that, you two will be on first watch, only until the sun rises. Should only be a few hours. Come and get Cobrahiss and Skyfall to replace you on watch next." He paused, counting out heads around him. He wanted to include some apprentices as well. Not only was it good experience, but it tended to be very exciting. If only he knew the truth.

"Hailshine, take Mountainsky, Stormbranch, and Dunepaw with you to the front of the ship for a quick sweep."

"Saltfire, you will lead the second group in the lower levels of the back of the ship. You will take Emberwatcher and Eveningwar."

"I will take the Talldawn, Hollowsun, and Serpentpaw with me to patrol the levels right above us."

Darkstar paused to allow the groups to gather up.

    Smokestorm | Female | 26 Moons | Warrior | Apprentice: Morningpaw | Interacting with: Morningpaw (@TeenWolfie) & Bulleteyes (@tubig.)

Smokestorm happily plopped onto the sandy ground, making quick work to begin grooming out all the dust caught in her silvery fur. Wincing, the she-cat inspected a small cut she had gained on the journey. It wasn't deep, but it sure stung sharply. She stood, limping her way to the Shaman's den. Spotting her apprentice's white coat, she flicked her tail to beckon her over. However, while looking at Morningpaw, Smokestorm failed to watch where she was going and was headed for a head on collision with Bulleteyes.

OOC: OOF! Sorry this was so long. I wanted to tag everyone (who has been pretty active) as much as I could to include as many cats as I could manage. Sorry if it's a mess! If your cat is a leader, feel free to make up the ship's interior as you go. It's not that important. Whew! Thanks for being such a great group! <3333

  • (OOC: woowwwww, I'm excited!! Working on a reply now - get ready for an emotional Mountainsky losing all control, Eveningwar & Mossfire are gonna have to do some damage control XD)

  • - hollowsun had flopped down onto the sand, heaving a sigh. we're finally here. the journey had taken what seemed like ages, even though he knew it had only been one night. exhaustion weighed him down, his eyelids drooping and threatening to close at any given second. i hate migrations.

he had almost fallen asleep right then and there. he was barely aware of darkstar's commanding voice, letting it fade into the background. his name being called aroused him, eliciting a groan from the tom. you have an entire tribe of cats to choose from, and you chose me?

with his tail tip twitching, hollowsun reluctantly got to his paws, walking slowly towards serpentpaw. he didn't even know what he was supposed to be doing; he just heard serpentpaw's name being called after his, and assumed that he would be working with the younger tom. | mentions serpentpaw @M A Y C I E

As they got to their temporary resting Place, she looked over to find either Anthawk or Marigoldstorm as she could need to take the herbs she was being carring to somewhere. Quickly she looked around the two shamans, noticing the Brown tom there "Anthawk, where to I put those herbs?" she asked flicking her tail as she walked over to the tom. She gived a quick look at Drakstar when her Brother involved her one of the patrols there, quickly nodding to say that she heared it.

This was her very forst migration with the tribe, the whole trip they ws being doing she didn't whine or anything, even if it was pretty hard to walk in sand and the way toward the ship was not short one. Flicking her tail she looked over at other cats, when walked further away to see the ship on distance, narrowing her eyes immendeattely when she realised that the ship was the same back then. Nervously she looked over at Darkstar, wondering if she could them him, but there was always this chanse that the rogues was being gone now.

// TeenWolfie whoa wait why's he losing all control

Anthawk looked over as Emberwatcher approached. He expected Bloomfall and Longrunner to drop off their bundles soon, but the tabby tom was tired. He wasn't too tired to keep grinning, though. He grinned so often it was pretty much a natural feature of his by now. Anthawk nodded just beside him. "Just drop them there. Marigoldstorm and I will take them back to a corner in the lower levels once we've made sure the patrols come back safe." // Insanityflame mentions cataclysm!   TeenWolfie   maycie.

Eveningwar's silver ears perked as she heard her name. She'd slept surprisingly well and was awake for the patrol. She found herself feeling a pang when she found Mountainsky and her were on different patrols, and was so baffled by it she couldn't move. Eventually (and abruptly) the silver Bengal shook her head vigorously and got up, shaking out her fur before padding over to Saltfire and nodding respectfully to them. She spotted Emberwatcher over by her brother, Anthawk, and decided she'd come over once she'd dropped the herbs off. // fluff puff mentions TeenWolfie   Insanityflame

Gingerfall remained asleep in the lower levels for only a moment longer before she stretched out her long legs and got up, shaking out her semi-fluffy fur carelessly. She'd never really been one for cleaning herself in the morning. She padded over to where everyone else was and sat down on the outskirts, tail flicking back and forth happily. She was partly sad she wasn't on any patrols, but hey. It meant she got to laze around and do nothing. // open for interaction

Bulleteyes was mostly just circling the deck of the ship, which was a habit of theirs whenever they were here. They just tended to do it. Getting bumped into by Smokestorm was not part of the routine, and Bulleteyes looked mostly surprised. They looked down, bi-coloured eyes wide in surprise, but managed a smile. "I don't want to believe that Morningpaw is so interesting that you couldn't look where you were going, but..." Bulleteyes spoke jokingly to the she-cat, a smile dancing on their face. // Rontu mentions TeenWolfie

  • Slipknot | Interactions: open; Mentions: Woolypaw [ Rontu ]

Slipknot blearily shifted his eyes around, mind dragging up the idea of checking in with his son. At the moment, the tom couldn’t spot Woolypaw, and with the ache in his legs drawing him down into one of the soft rugs stretched across the lower level, the desire to meet up quickly dissipated. He’d talk to him tomorrow, and if that wasn’t possible, he’d definitely catch him when the tribe returned to the sea camp. Slipknot heaved out a sigh, promising himself he would follow through with those ideas before sleep overtook him. He would be dead to the world until the moon rose again the following night.

    Dunepaw | Interactions: Hailshine [ VocaFan53 ]; Mentions: Scorchpaw, Darkstar [ dreamy   Rontu ]

Once the ship came into view, Dunepaw broke away from Scorchpaw at her leader’s orders, offering a simple smile over her shoulder before trotting over to stand before Hailshine. She kept her ears perked, forcing herself to maintain an attentive posture even as sleep dragged at her eyelids, knowing she’d be severely disappointed with herself if she let this opportunity go to someone else.

Dunepaw hadn’t been allowed to really explore the ship the last time she’d been here, and the tortie was excited to finally have the chance to look through all the ship’s nooks and crannies. The apprentice shifted her paws - excited nerves eager to get to work patrolling the front of the ship – and turned her gaze back towards the group of cats, trying to pin down the two other warriors Darkstar had called for.

(ooc: I'm super excited for this!! xDD I can't wait for everything to go down haha)

  • OOC: @tubig., I put Stormbranch (Hailshine's father) on the same patrol as him. He gunna watch his father die. RIP :'(>:D

    Darkstar | Trans Male | 51 Moons | Apprentice: Serpentpaw | Interacting with: Hollowsun (@cataclysm!) & Serpentpaw (@M A Y C I E) & Talldawn (@Atlas) & Chibipaw (@Insanityflame)

Darkstar flicked his tail, signaling to his group that it was time to move out. However, as the russet tom made his way to the dark hallways, he passed a very disappointed looking Chibipaw. He sighed, knowing how he'd feel if he was left out. The leader raised his head and called to the apprentice. "Come on Chibipaw. If you keep moping around, you'll make others sad around you." He teased gently, letting the apprentice catch up with the group.

Satisfied, the tom lead the way into the hallway, its shadows swallowing them quickly. Soon, the sand gave way to cold metal as they progressed deeper into the bowels of the ship. But having made the trip numerous times, Darkstar confidently led the way through the icy hallways, around knocked over containers, and eventually up a steep set of stairs that rattled too much for Darkstar's liking. He made a mental note to look into alternative routes as he pulled himself up into a crowded storage room.

Weak starlight filtered in through various holes in the ship's sides, giving the room full of barrels an eerie glow. Darkstar started forward, his eyes scanning the barrels as he passed, flicking his tail in warning to his tribe mates. Some of the tipped over barrels were leaking a dark substance and had spread across their path. This wasn't a new occurrence and the majority of it had dried at the edges. But it was still a good learning opportunity.

Pausing before the sticky spill, Darkstar gestured the apprentices closer. "Take a good look. I'd say smell it too, but as you can tell, its scent overwhelms everything in the room." Darkstar rumbled quietly, as he crouched in front of the spill. Taking a small piece of metal, he scooted it into the mess only to drag it back out to demonstrate how tacky the black liquid was.

"The humans call it oil. The nomads don't use it often, so we normally don't even encounter it except for here." He turned, casting a stern glance at the two apprentices. " Try your best to avoid it at all costs. It's not only sticky, but foul tasting. If you consume too much, not even the Shamans can help you." Darkstar turned, intent on continuing his lesson, but something caught his eye.

"Wait here," He whispered, padding around the oil to look at the floor beyond. A fine coating of sand covered the floor in a vast blanket. It should have been undisturbed, as a whole year had gone by since the Tribe had been there last. But there were very evident paw prints in the sand. Cat paw prints. He turned back to his warriors, his eyes dark.

"Hollowsun, Talldawn, do you two know if any tribe members that might have gotten up here before us?" He asked, keeping his voice soft.

    Smokestorm | Female | 26 Moons | Warrior | Apprentice: Morningpaw | Interacting with: Bulleteyes (@tubig.)

Having bumped into a cat rather spectacularly, Smokestorm whipped around, an apology on her lips. But at seeing who she bumped into and their comment, she snorted and rolled her eyes. She sat down in front of them, holding her injured paw aloft to avoid getting more sand in it. "Well, Bulleteyes, I am her mentor after all. I'm supposed to keep an eye on her. Or well, in this case, both eyes on her." The silver she-cat shook her head, knowing her joke was not up to her usual standard. But if anyone asked, she'd blame it on fatigue.

Gesturing with her injured paw, Smokestorm put on a face that was supposed to be a pout, but made her look more constipated than anything. "Mind helping a lady in need to get to the Shaman's den?" She asked, flicking her muzzle towards the den that was a mere tail-length away. Geez, she sucked at this whole flirting thing.

  • - hollowsun turned his bored gaze onto chibipaw, wrinkling his nose with half-hearted amusement. his apprentice was standing there with a dejected expression, his bottom lip pulled out in a childish pout. "you look like a kit," he commented, flicking the small cat's ear with his tail tip as he passed and beckoning him to his side with a jerk of his head. of course darkstar would be swayed by a pouting apprentice. that guy's a total softie.

even though he didn't want to, hollowsun followed after darkstar on aching paws. dawn light turned into darkness as the group padded into the shadows of the ship's interior. hollowsun wasn't as familiar as darkstar was with the layout, but he trodded after the older tom with few blunders along the way.

a foul stench invaded hollowsun's nostrils long before they reached the storage room. it was a smell that the tom wasn't a stranger to. oil. the putrid smell grew stronger as the group entered, completely masking the other scents of the room and making hollowsun oblivious to the cat scent that lingered in the room from previous visitors. he padded lazily after darkstar, looking down at the liquid with mild disgust intertwined with his usual neutral expression. "mhmm, you wouldn't wanna clean that off your paws," he added. one memory floated to the forefront of his mind, of the times he had spent living as a rogue. a friend of his had walked right into a puddle of oil- the oblivious fluffbrain- left behind by some upwalkers. after giving herself a thorough cleaning, she died not even an hour later.

darkstar's voice broke through his memories, shaking him out of his reminiscing. his brows furrowed at the question, but he gave a nonchalant shrug. an uneasy feeling settled in his gut as he stared down at the paw prints. something wasn't right. | darkstar Rontu && chibipaw Insanityflame && serpentpaw @M A Y C I E && talldawn Atlas

  • Saltfire was given the duty to patrol the Ship along with Emberwatcher and Eveningwar, two females he has yet to get to know but knows of them. He gave Eveningwar a dip of his head in greeting, a small smile littered on his features. "Hello to you too." He gave a small chuckle, awaiting for Emberwatcher to join them. Regardless, he turned to the other female and had a small glint in his eye.

"How are you? Doing well?" He asked, his silver tail flicking. Saltfire supposed that if he were to endure any experience with any other cat might as well do it with a positive manner.

Dasher gave a small flick of his tail, his ears perked as he looked into the distance towards the ship. He saw other cats roaming about, and gave a small 'tssk' and a shake of his head. He turned to the others gathered with him, a small smirk pasted on his lips as he retorted, "Look there, mates." He nodded towards the direction of the ship. He looked at Iris, Myrina, Click, Jada, and the rest of the rogues, his eyes glinting with a mania.

  • .:Talldawn:.

    {Interacting: Darkstar Rontu and patrol}

-Unease pricked her pelt as she followed near the rear of the patrol, looking out over the heads of her clanmates. Something felt... thick in the air. Anticipation. She felt nose-blind as oil coated her nostrils and throat. Her eyes were wide as the moon, scanning the surrounding with bated breath, taking pause as Darkstar stopped to speak to the apprentices. She stayed a ways back, staring out behind them. The fur of her tail bushed and twitched anxiously. It was moments like this the she-cat often fell prey to her own mind. Growing up her anxiety always got the best of her, and made her the worst of warriors. She learned to cope with it; however, it made times like this hard to handle. She didn't know when she should or shouldn't trust her gut anymore - was her mind playing tricks on her? Or were in instincts right?

    - When Darkstar addressed her, she nearly jumped out of her fur.

    - "Other... Cats?" she echoed, her lean face wrecked with worry as her pupils darted about. She slowly walked forward, the floor creaking beneath her. "No - No, there's been no other cats," Talldawn murmured, ants crawling up and down her pelt. "Darkstar, I think we should get back to the others, something feels off..." She meowed quietly. So she was the coward - oh well. There was nothing she could do to sate her nerves, and it had a firm wrap around her tongue,

  • Morningpaw . Apprentice . Mentor: Smokestorm . Interaction: Smokestorm & Bulleteyes, mentions Fidgetpaw & Batpaw ( cataclysm!   Rontu   tubig .   marcola )

Her small white paws felt like they were on fire by the time the tribe had finally reached the abandoned ship, the apprentice had found herself floating nearer to the back whilst they travelled, she'd been reluctant to leave the StarFlats but was also excited to see the ship once more, that buzz had quickly died down eventually as her body grew more and more tired. Morningpaw all but dragged her paws into the cover of the ghostly ship, begging for her limbs to cooperate as she followed her tribe down with a slower pace. She could just about feel the relief melt away on her shoulders as they reached the room housing the old nests, her small paws began to pick up pace again as she began to head for one of the nests, much too tired to locate either Fidgetpaw or Batpaw to keep her company. The relaxation that was bound to greet her any moment vanished as her gold eyes caught sight of a familiar coat, tail motioning for her to join their side. Heaving a great sigh, Morningpaw rose on unsteady paws and headed towards her mentor, her small head hanging in her exhaustion. White ears flicked as she neared the two cats, coming from behind to stand beside her mentor, she greeted the two with a snort "I'm plenty interesting to look at", a huff followed suit, her golden eyes fluttering shut every few seconds as she began to lean into Smokestorm's side, mmm so comfy.

Mountainsky . SandWalker . Apprentice: Chasingpaw . Interaction: Darkstar, Eveningwar, Mossfire, Stormbranch & Chasingpaw ( dreamy   tubig .   Rontu   marcola )

The large tabby had seated himself beside his usual companions as they gathered to listen to Darkstar, he couldn't shake the sense of relief of finally having reached the vacant ship, truthfully the SandWalker had become irritated quite quickly when the ship had first come into view during the trek, because no matter how fast he carried his large paws, the thing didn't seem to come any closer. The second they'd finally reached the room that held all the nests, he'd deposited his travelling companion in the makeshift nursery, hiding the envy he felt as the young kit fell fast asleep. Mountainsky glanced towards his leader as the patrols were called, giving the tom a silent dip of his head before he rose on massive paws, his darkened gaze was quick to follow his female companions as the group was made to split. For a moment he wondered why it seemed to bother him, before he gave a jerk of his head and lifted his eyes to Mossfire first, a small smile dancing on his features as he watched her head towards his sister, he wasn't too bothered muttering a reply as he knew the calico would understand that his silence meant the same, he wished them all safe travels and was looking forward to returning soon, sharing water as a group. Next his amber eyes finally found their way to the silver bengal, waiting to catch her own equally steely gaze, he gave an almost unnoticeable dip of his head before turning and bumping his broad shoulder against the grey pelted tom. "We should get a move on", he spoke gruffly but a hint of humour was still evident, somehow Stormbranch was capable of bringing out more of Mountainsky than he seemed comfortable with. Just as he moved his massive paws towards Hailshine, his gaze caught sight of a lanky white tom not too far off and a small sigh escaped from his sealed jaws, he knew that as a mentor he had certain responsibilities when it came to the young tom, but there was something nagging in the back of his mind, deciding to act on his instinct he gave Chasingpaw a frown and a shake of his head, he'd go on this patrol without him.

Bloomfall . Spider . Apprentice: Batpaw . Interaction: Darkstar, Mossfire & Anthawk ( Rontu   dreamy   tubig . )

The grey & cream flash of fur gave away the presence of the Spider as she walked silently over to the makeshift Shaman's den, depositing her bundle of cared for herbs gently alongside the others, giving the shaman a small, tired smile before she made her way back towards the gathered cats. Bloomfall, despite feeling tired, flashed an encouraging smile as she nodded to her leader, turning elegantly she made her way towards the bundles of moss. Her ears flicked momentarily before she lifted her head to greet the calico she-cat with a warm smile, dipping her own head to gather the rest of the moss in her jaws, refraining from complaining about the slight pains as she'd just been able to even close her jaws properly after letting go of the herb bundle. Instead of the walk to the oasis sullying her mood, the Spider put on a burst of speed as she raced up towards and out of the ship's entrance, glancing over her shoulder to make sure she didn't lose sight of her companion before turning and heading off again with newfound energy, she knew there was no time for slacking off now, they had a whole tribe to gather water for.

    Elmkit . Kit . Kitten-Crush: Silverpaw . Interaction: Starlingkit

The large grey kit had only opened his eyes a mere few seconds after feeling his body get lowered to the ground, his large eyes glanced around for a moment to gather his thoughts and figure out where he was, before finding himself rolling over and falling asleep once more, nestled beside his sister.

Myrina . Rogue . Open to be killed/injured . Interaction: Dasher, Jada & the rest of the rogues

A playful grin formed on the she-cat's delicate features, the deadly glint in her eyes not an uncommon sight as she stepped forward to stand beside the tom, eyes narrowed towards the shape of cats moving about the abandoned ship. The grin quickly turned into an annoyed sneer, also not an uncommon sight, as her cold eyes turned to another of their small group, Jada. "Don't be stupid", she growled at the female harshly, her gaze returning to the tribe cats, she stayed silent and still as her eyes carefully traced each cat she could see from where the rogues stood, there were too many cats for the group to go in and fight blindly, yes they each were quite skilled in the act of killing, but that didn't mean these cats weren't either. Her gaze traced a few of the larger cats with unease, if the rogues were to attack, they'd have to use the element of surprise. Her eyes lit up as she realised what was happening, "They're splitting up", her head tilted slightly as she continued to study the tribe cats, it looked like they were patrolling.

  • por favor não diga que você me ama —

// oH stormbranch was mountainsky's mentor - riiiight I get it now

Anthawk nodded and smiled as Bloomfall tiredly placed the herbs just beside him. He turned and unpacked the bundle into the corner of the makeshift den. Really, Anthawk just wanted to sleep, but suddenly he had the urge to look for his brother and sisters. Eveningwar had been called for a patrol with Saltfire and Emberwatcher - no doubt she was grumpy she couldn't go with Mountainsky or one of her kin, but she looked okay. Willowrun and Beetlebite looked equally as tired, but as per the norm his siblings were okay. Next his blue eyes swept the ship, and he began to grow worried when he couldn't spot his son anywhere, but the familiar pelt of Batpaw caught his eye eventually. Anthawk felt a weight lift off his shoulders. This responsibility - ensuring everyone was safe and well-fed - had used to fall to Ravenwatcher, but of course Anthawk had gotten used to handling everything ever since his brother ran away. Anthawk screwed up his nose. That was a topic that made him often envy his younger siblings - they had littermates, where as his had ran off, although Anthawk refused to believe it was cowardice of raising the younger litter with him. // TeenWolfie mentions marcola   fluff puff   Insanityflame

Eveningwar caught Mountainsky's gaze and held it for a moment before Saltfire spoke to her. Slowly, she turned her head to face the deputy, a look of disdain crossing her face. Was he actually going to talk to her? Eve sighed. She supposed other cats in the clan wouldn't feel the same way about socialising as she did, so she responded. "I'm tired, like everyone else." she deadpanned as shortly as possible. // fluff puff mentions TeenWolfie

    Gingerfall is open for interaction.

Bulleteyes looked very vaguely amused at this. "The shaman's den isn't far, but sure-" They cut off as Morningpaw joined them and then chuckled lightly under their breath. "Of course, my bad." They apologised, looking at the tired apprentice. "You both look like you could use some rest. Let's get you to Anthawk and Marigoldstorm first, though." Bulleteyes gestured to Smokestorm's injured paw, a serious look suddenly on their face. // Rontu   TeenWolfie mentions maycie.

Her eyes was looking to the way of the ship nervously, when she noticed a little figure of a hidding cat there, she knowd that the rogues then was Still there waiting and she did feel like the meeting with them is not going to end well. Unhearing what the Darkstar said she turned to look at him, wondering if was her time to tell them what the rogues she and Chibi meated before joining the tribe. Getting up she walked to Darkstar "Um Darkstar, can we speak? I know you're going out for a patrol, but...there is something I never tell to you about our trip to your tribe…" she meowed nervously looking over to her paws "...me and Chibi...we walked past this ship then" she meowed silently

He flicked his ears with both exited and disappointment when Darkstar remembered him to join the patrol with his mentor Hollowsun. He got up to his paws and scretched, before walked to Hollowsun, looking up to the large warrior and showed his tongue to him "Pyh, I am more warrior than you will never be" he meowed with a half joke. He looked over to his mentor and Hollowsun as tehy speaked then to his sister Sakuraheart "Oh yeah the roges back then" he murmured, before realised that he was thinked loud.

  • Stormbranch;

Nodding to the others in his designated group, he expected this to be rather easy, but even if it was he could use the experience to take a break from having to keep an eye on all of the apprentices. Sometimes they found other cats here, and those cats were usually grateful for the opportunity to join the tribe even if for a short amount of time. Mostly, though, it was very quiet and very dark on the other levels of the ship. He wondered if his temperament had rubbed off a little too much on Mountainsky, who seemed to be more talkative than usual. "Of course," he mewed in reply, returning the playful shove, "I'm not so old that I need helping around." he said, mocking an insulted tone. Of course he was aware that he was getting older, but he wouldn't give up being a warrior for anything just yet - being an elder seemed rather pointless when he could still perform warrior duties. Perhaps when his legs started giving him trouble on the migration, but he wouldn't need to think about that now, focus on the task at hand (or paw, as it were). He made his way with the rest of the group towards the front of the ship, where space would get a little tight eventually with the tapering shape of their shelter, but where the most small gaps were in the rusted metal so it was still an important place to check.

    Batpaw;

Having arrived at the ship with the others, also rather tired, the monochrome feline realised that he had barely spoken to his mentor today - having spent much of his time among other apprentices. He hadn't got to ask his question! But perhaps he should just save it for tomorrow. He was tired after all, but the curiosity of wanting to know what stories they were going to be telling in the time they stayed here pressed him to explore the most populated level of the ship, trying to locate his mentor. coming up empty on that front, he supposed he could ask someone he hadn't spoken to during the migration yet, the chance that they would have seen his mentor was far higher if he hadn't seen either of them because they were likely to have been in the same area that he didn't see. That made sense in his head, at least, but the warriors looked so busy! Or tired! It wouldn't do any good to bother them.

So he settled for approaching another apprentice who looked relatively free and not like they were sleeping. Uh, hello. Have you seen bloomfall? Did she go out into the sands? Or has she stayed here?" he asked the white-coated apprentice. Perhaps his words sounded blunt and his overall personality needed improvement because it didn't occur to him to ask how Whitepaw was doing, but in his mind such small talk would be a waste of breath if he didn't care all too much about the answer.

( Hailshine's gonna see his dad die & mountainsky is gonna see his mentor die, that's so cruel I love it! Also Idk if Stormbranch is gonna take one of those rogues down with him/severely injures them? It's totally up to everyone else in the encounter, but that's just an idea? )

  • OOC: @tubig., I am an idiot who can't read. For some reason, I thought you were talking about Hailshine. Not Mountainsky. Geeeezzzzzz XD I can't function like a normal human.

Click flicked his scarred ears, taking in the various comments around him without voicing any of his thoughts out loud. Annoyance flashed briefly over the tom's face at Dasher's irritating tone, but he quickly swallowed any comments. Who put you in charge? The tom thought crossly, flicking his tail from side to side. But after all, he wasn't in charge either. None of them were, which made it so much harder to get stuff done, and properly at that.

He nodded at Myrina, who seemed like the only other cat that didn't have sand between their ears for a brain. They were splitting up, making them easier targets. Foolish. Standing, the tom paused, stretching out his forelegs and then his back ones. It was time to get moving. If he sat any longer, he'd become stiff.

"I call the russet one." He rumbled, not bothering to see if anyone came with him or not. If he was being honest, he'd rather do it alone. Get in and get out, meeting up with the others later. After all, this was simply a scouting mission, they didn't have to attack anyone. They wanted to.

Click slunk into the shadows, his eyes dark. I'll make you proud Snapdragon.

    Darkstar | Trans Male | 51 Moons | Apprentice: Serpentpaw | Interacting with: Hollowsun (@cataclysm!) & Serpentpaw (@M A Y C I E) & Talldawn (@Atlas) & Chibipaw (@Insanityflame)

With his gaze snapping from Hollowsun's nonchalant shrug to Talldawn's nervous reply, Darkstar found himself frowning. If they didn't have a definitive answer, then he was going to go with his gut instinct. And right now, it was telling him to move. He padded forward, sniffing at the dusty sand causing it to stir slightly, but he could only smell the oil and it was making his eyes burn. There was no way they could tell who it was at this time.

Flicking his tail into the air as both a signal and a nervous habit he had picked up when he was younger, Darkstar flicked his muzzle back to the staircase. "Alright let's g-." He paused mid-sentence, at Chibipaw's comment. Rogues? Sure there were rogues that they knew of, but they never really ventured far into the desert. They simply lacked the knowledge of the terrain. He shook his head, vowing to follow up with Chibipaw after this. Maybe the apprentice knew more about the rogues than he did.

As they made their way through the maze of barrels and oil spills, metal creaking could be heard. To make it worse, it was getting louder with every paw step. Heart hammering, Darkstar raised his voice. "Talldawn lead the way and get a move on! I don't like the sounds that are happening under foot!"

    Smokestorm | Female | 26 Moons | Warrior | Apprentice: Morningpaw | Interacting with: Bulleteyes (@tubig.) & Morningpaw (@TeenWolfie) & Anthawk (@tubig.))

Smokestorm gazed down at her apprentice, her eyes softening as the young cat drifted into her side. She couldn't blame her at all. If not for her paw, she'd be curled up and fast asleep. Rasping her tongue over Morningpaw's ears, she hummed in agreement. "Yes, that you are."

She suddenly felt bad for making her apprentice stand here while so obviously tired from the journey. "Sorry, little sister. I just wanted to ask how your trip went. But that can wait. I'll catch up with you in the morning, unless you want to follow me to the Shaman's den." She purred, gently trying to encourage Morningpaw in the direction of the nests.

She glanced up at Bulleteyes, thankfulness written across her face. Standing awakrdly, the silvery she-cat limped her way into the metal container, her nose already picking up the scents of herbs. "Anthawk? Marigoldstorm?" She called softly, not wanting to starling the two.
