    NATHANIEL 'NANA' HAMRIK

This new year hadn't exactly started out well for him now had it?. What should have been a nice start of his year after coming back here from his christmas and new year celebrations elsewhere had ended up in a awful horrible unpleasant suprise. Sick. Out of all things Nathaniel had become sick the day after he had returned back to the castle. Some peasant had dared to give him a cold because yes he blamed it on them knowing thier physicial hygien not was as proper like his own. A such tragedy had striken him that had lead him to lay in his own bed for days for having got a high fever and a awful cold that had made his nose running on none stop, and oh that annoying cough that never had seemed to want to stop. This couple of days the prince had been in a such worse shape that he had just ended up to completely hidden himself in his own room feeling oh so sorry for himself. People like him how usual would have wanted attention in his time of need had wanted nothing of it. Why?. Being sick did not only make him feel horrible but it also made him look horrible as well. Sickness really ruined even the most prettiest of looks and although he highly doubted he ever could become ugly had refused to allow anyone see him in his sick condition with a disgusting running nose, messy hair and god this swollen tired eyes. It had been so bad he not even had dared to look himself in the mirror in fear of getting himself a heart attack!!.

Oh gosh no - this horrible couple of days, the Hamrik prince was so relived this days finally had come to pass. Nathaniel had been in the worst place possible and not could he think about whatever he could have done to have deserved this horrible days he wanted nothing else then to forget all about now. It had really been nothing else then bad luck, a misfortune of luck that he not really had deserved to begin with. But now when he was feeling so much better again was going to make sure life paid him up for daring to give him this... disease. In one of this days had actually feared he not would have survived and end up dying there in his bed. Thankfully so had not been the case but he was convinced he had been close to have seen his last days on earth because not would he ever overreact, not even the slightest of bit because that would be absurb.

Not until he had fixed himself up to make him look the absolute best again by taking a long shower to wash away this disgusting sweat had groomed his fur and made him look like he never even had been sick. It was amazing how fast someone could recover or maybe it was just a special talent Nathaniel had. In any case any sign of ever being sick was none existent as the prince had left his room to get back out and join life once more. It felt so nice to be back out by the light again there he rightfully belonged.

  • Lycus hadn't seen the second Hamrik around as of late. Lycus hadn't seen anyone around as of late. It'd only been a few days ago that he'd finally emerged from his own den for the first time that week, though it hadn't been for the same reasons Nana had. He was sick, that was true, but it was more self-imposed than anything else. The hunger which he'd felt during those first days had been crippling, thus his lack of attention towards his clanmates and reason why he had no idea Nana was ailing. If he were to ever find out what happened to Nana during the time he himself had been locked away he would've been ashamed. It was his job to look after his clanmates, and ignoring such duties was simply unacceptable of him, even if he had Tesshin to clean up after his mistakes.

"You're looking quite sprite," the healer commented from his perch amidst the main courtyard of the palace. His tone was a tired one, something rather uncommon of Lycus, though not something he himself noticed. There were a lot of things slipping past Lycus the past few days, though nothing anyone ever seemed to notice or care enough about. It was a shame that he hadn't noticed Nana's absence either, he would've and should've asked where the eccentric being had been. They may've been some odd form of frenemies, but that didn't stop Lycus from caring.

  • TAGS ☆彡blue-gold oculars look up, briefly, from the book he had been messing with. he was slightly reading it, and slightly not, more-so absentmindedly daydreaming then anything else. as his gaze travels to lycus, almost naturally, it would then slide curiously to nathaniel. he'd acknowledge the unknown third party with a slight tilt of his cranium, and go back to page turning.

all fun and games till i hit the floor comatose!

    NATHANIEL 'NANA' HAMRIK

Sprite?. What was that supposed to mean?. Nathaniel didn't exactly found himself amused having had some real difficult days by dealing with being sick which for sure made him deserve some better comment then this. The prince would have to hide his annoyence behind a smile though as his gaze shifted over towards uhm...who was this again?. Nana was quite sure he had seen this peasant around before but at the same them all of them looked just the same for him. Poor and filthy. But he could have sworn he knew this one name. Lyc...Lucky?. Luci?, Luffy?. Come on think Nana, you know how much big of a deals this peasant make things if not remembering thier names!. How unfair. Here he had been sick for days and was now forced to dig into his mind after a name that wasn't even importand... Sometimes it was really tiresome to be him especially when expected of him to remember every little details.

" Oh, thank you Lu that's so kind of you to say..i think." The last he mumbled out, still completely unsure on whatever this male had tried to say with his comment. But more so believed he saved his own skin quite excellently well by giving this guy a nickname to cover up he had completely forgotten this one name. That also made them seem closer as well which most have been this male dream, a dream he had been so kind to just fullfill because everyone obiviously wanted to be his personal friend. It was a such shame he not could befriend all of them.

Nathaniel was not one how took much attention in others though even less thier well being. That was why the prince not had noticed Lycus rather odd behavior today, and he actually didn't do it at all but taking notice of someone's apperance were a different thing entierly. Now when he took a closer look Lycus for sure looked...worn out like how someone looked when they just had come back from a funeral. Oh dear...had someone died while he had been sick?. Lycus looked more and more awful the more he looked at him. It was disgusting not believing he deserved this right now. How dared this one come up ruining his day like this by showing his sad little pathetic face to him. Uuuugh. Nana was not feeling on his usual optimistic and patient self today, if anyone deserved to feel tired right now it was him.

" You don't...look so well dearest, are you...okay?." he asked sweetly, putting up his poker face of concern although he really wasn't interested to listen to whatever was bothering Lycus mind today. All he wanted was to get himself some tea and found himself some alot better company then this depressed emo person like that white feline over there how he had taken notice of had giving him a nod of greeting. God, Nana really hoped he wasn't cutting himself. That for sure would be to much of what he wanted to deal with right now.

  • Lu? A much better name for Lucien, but Lycus had no need and no want to confront him about it. Lycus was an odd name with practically no origins other than that from Earth. They were in Agrelos now, people didn't tend to talk about Earth anymore. Thus, his name was irrelevant and lost in time, lost to the ancient times of Greece. At the very least his blood-siblings held the exact same qualms with their names. Immortalkisses had named them all with historically Grecian names. Lycus, his own name, derived from the word for wolf. It didn't quite fit his current form, though it had entirely suited his birth form -- a mongolian wolf.

This body wasn't nearly as beautiful, nor nearly as powerful, as that of his birth form. From the beginning of finding himself in this form he'd hated it. He'd been so jealous when Nana had arrived on the scene in all of his canine glory. Nana was beautiful, just like all the Hamriks were. Lycus, in his emaciated form, couldn't compare. Gleaming white fur turned dull, eyes a bit more lifeless than they should have been. It was nothing one wouldn't notice with a mirror, but Lycus didn't own anything of that sort. The only witnesses to his weakness were those around him, whilst Lycus was left unaware to everything but his dampened mood and ceaseless pains.

"Thanks for the compliments," the khao manee chuckled dryly, his auburn eyes turning themselves away from the stunning canine before him. "No need to worry," he finished, feeling as though he'd been a bit too rude with the first statement. His head hurt, his mouth was dry, and now his emotions were just whack. He had reasons to be grumpy, but he shouldn't take it out on his clanmates.
