  • TIMBERKIT

Timberkit was bored. She didn’t see anything, only ate food and all she could do was listen to her annoying siblings whining. But... there was that big sibling she had! Stonekit, right? There coukd be some fun with him... an evil plan started forming up in the little kit’s head as she stood up from her siblings, and stepped on their tails without caring if she woke up any of them. She sniffed around, and felt her big brother somewhere near. “Hey, Stonekit, what are you doing?” she called in the direction she thought he was. Great StarClan, being not able to see anything like others did seriously drew her mad.

//I kinda thought he could ask her where mother went and she would start lying >:3 you ok with that, Stonekit. ?

Hearing his sister's voice, Stonekit paused, turning to face her. He wasn't really sure how to feel about Jewelpelt's litter, honestly. He had been excited, almost, and then...

Timberkit was annoying. "Where's mother?" He asked, ignoring her question. "She can amuse you better than me."

He liked the weaker kits better. They were smaller, more vulnerable, and Stonekit wanted to protect them. Timberkit just made him want to pull his ears off.

    yup!!

    wow stone rood

  • TIMBERKIT

Timber HATES the way Stone spoke about her. Amuse him better? Oh, probably she could. But Timberkit could amuse herself out of Stonekit, and show him how miserable he was. How mousebrained and messed up. She’d show him. She out on a casual grin. “Oh, Jewelpelt? She went to hunt on ThunderClan territory. Y’know, as always when she isn’t in the nursery,” she said in a too much normal voice, excited about Stone’s reaction. He could be older, but she’d show him she’s at least smarted than him! It’s start in the nursery, than DarkClan, and she would be known in the whole forest. This was just a start and Tim... Timmy was already liking it! She also liked the nickname she found for herself. It sounded like some cool rogue name, not these weird ones others had. Like ‘Pitchstar’ or ‘Ebonyrose’. Stars didn’t have pitch inside and roses didn’t grown on ebony trees. Well, that was some philosophy to be done. For now, she was happy with what she had, starting off her carrer.

Stonekit's ears flattened against his head, his fur bristling. "That's a lie!" He hissed, his tail lashing, "Mother is deputy. She would never."

Didn't Timberkit know how harmful her words were? Jewelpelt's reputation was at stake! All of her hard work - which led to her becoming Darkclan's deputy - would be for naught if Timberkit's lies spread. "It's against the Warrior Code!" Stonekit continued, amber eyes ablaze with fury. "You really think she'd do that?"

  • TIMBERKIT

”Hey! I’m not lying!” protested Tim, enjoying Stonekit’s state. She’d drive him mad and then laugh to his face! “Oh, yes she would. She told me. She didn’t tell you? Oh, she probably knew you wouldn’ be happy for it. She says Pitchstar is weird and that DarkClan should always be first place. That’s why she’s stealing prey. It’s also adrenaline. One day she’ll take us too with her,” lies slipped out of her mouth fast, tasting sweet on her tongue. Oh, this was so much fun. But only for once. It was already boring. She wanted to finish this off and do something funnier. Stonekit was weak and needed to know that! The bitter feeling in her conscience turned into wicked happiness as she smiled evilly at her brother.

Eyes narrowed into tiny slits, Stonekit forced his claws to retract. He wasn't going to strike his sister. He wasn't going to lunge at her. He certainly wasn't going to bite her. No, he was better than that. He had to be. "You're disgusting," Stonekit snarled at Timberkit, turning up his nose at her as if she were crowfood.

It was if she wanted to hurt Jewelpelt. That couldn't be true, right? Not even Timberkit, as much giddy joy as she took in hurting others, would hurt her own mother. "Mother respects Pitchstar." said Stonekit, firmly, refusing to leave room for her to argue. "You should, too."

A leader was the truest example of following the warrior code precisely. Everyone ought to aspire to be just like Pitchstar, thought Stonekit.

  • TIMBERKIT

Timberkit could feel her head hurt. Nonononono! Stone kit was wrong! She wanted to hurt Jewelpelt, she wanted it so bad! She wanted to see her cry before her, plead for forgiveness that she was a bad mother and tell her that she will give her every moment of her life. She wanted to see her break down as she refused and leave calmly as she wanted to be. She wanted her to pay. To feel the and loneliness and pain she felt. Refused. Used. Jealous. She wanted revenge. What was that feeling? No! She wasn't sad! She was angry! She wouldn't cry, not before Stone. What could she get for anger? Fear and respect. What could she get for sadness? Empathy. She didn't want that! Nobody could understand her. Especially Stone. He got it all- Jewelpelt cared about him, he got everything. He may think she wanted to hurt others. She was okay with that. He couldn't know how much jealous she was. "You wouldn't understand, Stone!" she growled her tail swishing behind her. She would attack him, when the day came. For now, she'd storm off, hatred in her heart going bigger.

//didn't I say I wanted to be a psychologist when I grew up?

For now, Timberkit was right. He couldn't fathom the idea of trying to hurt Jewelpelt. What kind of repayment for her promised protection was that? He couldn't even guess Timberkit's motives, either. Every idea slid out of his grasp like water through his toes, leaving him clueless. "You're right," he agreed begrudgingly, spitting the words out as if they tasted foul. "Mother deserves respect! She's deputy!"

There were so many other reasons to respect Jewelpelt, thought Stonekit, that it was impossible to articulate them all. Her rank within Darkclan was the easiest thing to mention, the most notable.

nope! not to me, anyway. that's neat! the world needs more of those. the waiting list takes foreverrrr D:
