    Keying in the coordinates, Jett began their hyperspace route. Kailaa sighed shakily. Darth Malak's son was in this very room...and neither of them was dead yet. But they were the progeny of arch enemies. Weren't they cursed to hate and fight?

    IC~ Elannor shot towards the sky, entering space quickly and immediately setting the hyperspace coordinates for Kamino. She punched it and the ship flew off.

    Kailaa grumbled, peeling open her eyes at Jett's prodding. They were certainly in orbit over a planet of some sorts. She yawned, drowsily throwing a hood over her features while Jett flew them down. Time to jump in. She vaguely wondered how many people would end up dead from this excursion. Well, honestly it depended on how grumpy she was because of post-nap syndrome.

    "C'mon, Buddha," teased Kailaa, rising from her seat and throwing her gray hood over her face. She made sure it draped down over her eyes, encasing all of her features in shadow. Despite this, she could see and sense just fine. Just like putting on blinders--made everything a little more bearable without the confusion of sight. "We're here. Dromund Kaas...I hate this place."
    Jett shuddered at the venom in his great-aunt's voice, but followed her out of the ship nonetheless. As always, it was storming like heck out there. The actual weather didn't seem to affect Kailaa, but the natural dark side of the planet seemed to be turning her mood sour.

    Kailaa stormed forward, Jett in tow. She fearlessly strode into the city, civilians parting from her way as if they knew how dangerous she would be. Jett fell back by Silver.
    "You got anything, Silva Hound?" he muttered out of the corner of his mouth. "We should stay on track, before Kailaa kills someone."

    "Yeah, sure, great, but where is he?" insisted Jett, watching with growing terror as a beefy pureblood Sith began sauntering up to Kailaa with no intention of going around her. He roughly bumped into her, before whirling to face the offending runt with a scowl on his face. Kailaa stopped in her tracks. The entire street dropped five degrees.
    "Watch where you're going, shutta," he snarled. Kailaa didn't reply. "We don't have time for idiots who can't be bothered to look in front of them!"
    "Funny you should say that," purred Kailaa, straightening and turning to the Sith. Even with the hood completely down over her face, she seemed taller than her opponent. "Because I can't be bothered to even look at you. That's how insignificant you are. In the grand scheme of things, your life means nothing."
    "Well, in a few ticks, you're not gonna have one!" he raged, beginning to get flustered. "This is Dromund Kaas, not whatever sarlaac pit you came from! If you don't watch yourself, you'll get this!" Jett held his breath, covering the eyes of a nearby child.
    He rushed forward to plant his fist in Kailaa's covered face. It never got there. Crying out in pain, he dropped dead midstride.
    Chaos ensued. Seizing Silver's hand in one fist and his sister's in the other, Jett ran, so that they effectively vanished into the crowd.

    "What was that?" hissed Jett, whirling his sister around to face him. Her gaze was equally intense, but not with protective anger.
    "Self-defense," she replied, silky voice laced with venom.
    "We can't get noticed, or--"
    "Excuse me, ma'am?"
    Turning nonchalantly, Kailaa came face to face with another pureblood Sith. This one was in the garb of a police officer, flanked by two equally beefy soldiers armed with disintegrator rifles. Clearly they knew who they were dealing with--even a glancing blow from one of those outlawed weapons would vaporize you. Still, her expression was completely one of unimpressed indifference.
    "You have been accused of murder," he said formally. "You'll have to come with me."
    Jett went to make a move, but Kailaa smiled and raised her hands up. She turned back to look at Silver and Jett, the mad light in her eyes making it clear that she wanted this.
    "I'm all yours," she purred. Jett put a hand on Silver's shoulder and began to back away. Another soldier took a step towards him, and was silenced with a glare from Kailaa.
    "My only condition is that you let them be," she offered, voice beginning to grow cold. The head officer nodded and gulped.

    IC~ The child sat in his room, staring out at the rainy world. The sea churned, waves high as sea animals jumped out of the water like fish. Sme actually stayed out of the water and flew. It was boring here...

    "Bad dog, Silva Hound," chided Kailaa, eyeing Silver. "You'll get your chance eventually. Take me away, Red Skull."
    Nodding, the Sith turned and led her off into the streets, the Marvel reference having gone completely over his head.
    Meet me in the Citadel, thought Kailaa to Silver and Jett. That lovely flying hunk of metal in the sky. It's where the Sith used to rule, but now I suppose it's just a councilroom for the planet's great politicians. If anywhere, that's where we can pick up some clues as to where Dad is.
