  • Hannah -

Hannah, having never been confessed to not once in her whole life, was rather confused. Like? Does he mean admire or respect us? She didn't quite understand exactly what he was referring to, but the hot blush on his cheeks told her exactly what he meant. It all fell together like a bunch of puzzle pieces and it made sense now. He would always run away whenever it was someone else, but fight them when they showed up. He would cause whatever havoc he could because he knew and hoped that they would be the ones to show up. It all made so much sense to her now, and the worst part of it all was she knew he wasn't lying. The hero could tell by his shy demeanor. Hannah had no idea what to do or even say. What could she do? Let him loose just because he just confessed to her and her partner? Did he think that would set him free? He should know better. However, seeing the red hot blush on his cheeks, sent a wave of sympathy through the hero. It was at that moment she realized a small flame had gathered in her hand, which was something that only happened when she was extremely embarrassed. Red Flare had just realized that she too, was blushing. Hell, she couldn't even look at X-Ray in the eye.

She reached her free hand and rubbed the back of her neck, suddenly fixated on the wall beside her. What the hell was she going to do? She can't just... have some sort of affair with a villain, people would slander her name, and Nathan's too! What should I even say? This is so... abnormal! Her eyes glanced over to Nathan's almost pleadingly. He was her partner, surely he could come up with some sort of solution, he always had. That's why I trust him so much.

  • Jacob could not believe he just confessed. What the hell, what the hell, what the hell! He couldn't even think straight. He began wriggling around uncomfortably, trying to put a bit of room between the three. Nathan, however, was as solid as rock and didn't move a centimeter. To keep the villain steady, he slipped his hands down to the other's man waist. This action led the villain to make a startled noise. Well, that certainly was a noise that the hero did not expect Jacob to do. He couldn't but let out a short, dry chuckle at the other man. Which only caused further embarrassment for the villain. Although, Jacob would admit it is the first time he has heard the aloof hero have any sort of emotion and it kind of gave him a warm feeling.

The criminal then focused his attention on the hero, she had not made a single sound since she pulled the confession out of the villain. Jacob slowly lifted his gaze from looking at his feet to look at Red Flare. To his surprise, the girl looked quite flustered. One of her hands was grabbing at her neck while the other had small burst of flame in it. The villain stiffened a little, obviously afraid that the hero was about to punch. He noticed the small growing blush that spread across her cheeks and face. If he wasn't himself totally embarrassed or restrained by the hero behind him, he might've actually considered kissing her. "Looks like I got you a little "hot and bothered"." The villain couldn't help but joke uncomfortably, letting out a nervous laugh. "You're not doing much better, Trickster." The dark-haired hero suddenly whispered in his ear. This caused the villain to shudder a little and for his cheeks to become a light pink color again. He noticed the girl looked up at the hero behind him, they were obviously having a non-verbal conversation between them.

Hannah gave Nathan a pleading look, obviously not knowing how to respond to the villain's sudden confession. He let out an inner sigh, how was he supposed to know what to do with the villain's outburst. He wasn't exactly the one who knew how to deal with feelings or emotions best. He assumed that she wanted his advice because he kept his cool, even under extreme conditions. Nathan began to think, his eyebrows knitted together in deep concentration. If Nathan didn't feel any sort of sympathy for the villain, he knew that the best option was to send him to jail or prison. However, that wasn't the case. He didn't know exactly how he felt by the villain, he was happy that the villain didn't really physically hurt anyone. He also liked the expressions that the villain made whenever he was embarrassed. Against his better judgement, he let out a sigh and focused his attention on Hannah. "Take him to our apartment. Check his wounds over and let him clean up. I'll go speak to the boss and try to work something out." He slowly took off his trench coat and placed it over the villain. It would be best if they didn't capture any unwanted attention while Hannah took him to their apartment.

  • Hannah -

Hot and bothered isn't exactly the way I would put it. Way more than that. Hannah though, closing her fist to put the flame out that had begun to spread to her arm. That's how obvious it was that she was blushing. Hannah pressed the back of her hand to her mouth until her blush died down, which thankfully didn't take very long as Nathan spoke to her. To be honest, she was surprised that he would allow someone like this villain into their apartment. That was the only place where they can be themselves, so it surprised her to know that he must have put some sort of trust in this villain. Hannah nodded and pulled the villain along with her, making sure to keep him close so that no one would ask any questions, or at least, that's what she hoped. The hero moved through the crowd, waving off anyone who tried to get close enough for interviews with their TV crews. She moved the male closer to her, to try to protect him from everyone who bombarded him with questions or threats. They were walking for about twenty minutes when they finally came up to their apartment building where they immediately went inside where she locked the door and took his coat.

"Well, come on. Let's get you cleaned up and everything." She stated rather awkwardly as she gestured for him to sit down on the couch so she could grab a med-kit to take care of the villain. Once she grabbed one from the bathroom she made her way back into the living room and shifted uncomfortably on her feet. "Hey, so, lift your uh... shirt so I can, y'know, treat your cuts and stuff."

  • Jacob kept his eyes downcast and shrunk down to make himself smaller, he avoided anyone who approached him. The threats and yelling were almost too much for the young villain, but he felt some comfort being closer to the female hero escorting him. Any time she would lightly brush against him he had to keep his excitement in check. It wasn't long before they had vanished completely from the crowd and were walking a less rushed pace. This came as a sort of relief to Jacob, he wasn't exactly a fan of angry mobs. As they made their way through the city, the criminal would occasionally look at the hero. He would open his mouth and try to speak, but no words seemed to form. His mind was, surprisingly, blank. Usually he had plenty of things to say, so being short of words came as quite a surprise. Instead he watched her out of the corner of his eye.

After twenty minutes, the girl and him halted in front of a tall apartment complex. He didn't catch the name once they entered because she quickly rushed him in. It wasn't long before they entered an apartment that he assumed was shared between the two. He suddenly seemed nervous and stiffened slightly. They were actually going to let him see their more personal side. He had only fought against them as heroes and read their hero profiles, other than that he knew nothing of the two. She seemed to sense his nervousness, so she quickly ushered him in. He cautiously entered the apartment, his eyes scanning his surroundings. When she motioned for his sit down on the couch, he turned and sat down into the rather comfortable couch. When he turned towards her, she had vanished rather quickly but returned with a medkit. He was about to offer to do his own injury healing, but he stopped himself. If anything, it would make her closer to him. He slowly nodded, feeling himself flush red. He lifted the vest, which already showed off a little bit of midriff, as far as his cuffed hands allowed him. He had a few cuts and bruises scattered along his chest and rib cage. His upper body was more lean than muscle, and he couldn't help but feel his self-esteem lower when he thought of how he compared to Nathan. "So..." He muttered, his eyes looking away from the hero and his cheeks remaining a light pink color. He was trying to think of what to say to the hero, but his mind was still going blank.

  • Hannah -

To be honest, Hannah had never been so flustered in her life. She had never seen a man's body this close up before. She had never been to a public pool before, so the only time she had ever seen a male without a shirt was on deodorant commercials and things like that. She even gave Nathan personal space when he changed, and they lived together! It was odd, but words failed her completely, just as they had for the villain. Hannah swallowed visibly, bending down to one knee and opening up the kit, immediately faking out the disinfectant first. Okay, so let's see if I can do this without burning him because of how embarrassing this is. The brunette had a hard time keeping her powers in check when her emotions were running high. No one knew that more than her partner. So she would have to really focus on his wounds for her to do everything right without causing him further harm. Hannah visibly swallowed again and went to work, pouring some of the disinfectant onto a gauze and dabbing at his cuts. "You know... Uh, never mind." She laughed softly as she shook her head, willing her hands to stop shaking in nervousness. She felt like her chest was caving in, and her heart pounded in her chest. The hero was alone at home with a guy, and a handsome one at that, so how could she keep her composure?

"You know, that confession. It was really sweet." Hannah tried again, continuing what she was trying to say earlier. She tried to calm herself by going back to tend to his cuts. As soon as she was done with them, she grabbed a soothing cream for his bruises. The female lightly brushed her finger along the darkened areas as gently as she could. "Maybe you can start doing hero work now, eh?" Hannah tried to joke a little and turned to give him a warm smile, before she put away all of the medical supplies as soon as she was done patching up his small lacerations. Hannah suddenly frowned, turning serious as she lifted her head to look into his eyes. "I don't understand why you like us. We just put a stop to crime, we're still people. Can you... help me understand?" She set the med-kit down on the floor beside the couch and gave him her full attention.

  • While Jacob's mind was still reeling, he began to tap his foot anxiously. He would make silent hissing noises when he felt the disinfectant seep into his open cuts. He knew the burning sensation meant the wounds would heal properly, but that didn't stop him from acknowledging the pain. So much for looking cool. He felt embarrassed for showing his weakness. The female hero suddenly started to say something, but she quickly shut her mouth again. He shifted his head to look at her and arched an eyebrow. The heck? He watched the girl, whom seemed just as embarrassed. So cute.He gave a relaxed gazed and almost smiled.

She suddenly spoke up again and this time she kept talking. "Oh, um. Thank you, I uh... really didn't expect I would ever really confess." He blushed, if his hands weren't bound he probably would be rubbing at the back of his neck. He grounded his teeth together to prevent himself from making any more sounds. After what seemed to drag on, she had finished cleaning his cuts and went to soothe the bruises that had formed. This... was going to be more embarrassing than the disinfectant. The villain wondered how long his face would remain bright red. He was slightly shocked by her gentle touch, she wasn't treating him like the scum of the earth. At hearing her joke, he couldn't but let out a light chuckle. Him? A hero? He couldn't imagine himself as being one. Even before... he sighed. "I doubt any agency wants to deal with me." He chuckled.

He let out a sudden sharp breath when she went over a particularly sensitive bruise. So much for trying to appear manly. However, that seemed to be the last of his wounds. He smiled at her handiwork and looked at her, but suddenly he was met with her eyes. He visibly stiffened, his eyes grew wide, and he felt himself swallow nervously. Her words seemed to taken him aback. Why exactly did he like them? He thought it over for a few seconds. How could he put into words? "I don't know when I started to feel this way. Maybe after our first fight? Before we met, I watched you guys fight over villains. You know little snippets here and there on the news. You two were so cool. I wouldn't say it was an obsession..." He shrugged his shoulders, not wanting to weird her out. "Instead of doing my previous quiet criminal activity, I started to do more attention-seeking stuff to, you know, get your guys' attention." "After our first fight, I was... frustrated. In a good way, if that makes sense. I wanted to keep getting your attention. After a few more fights, I kind of realized that it was more than just admiration or me thinking you were cool." His eyes shifted to the ground. "I liked you both."

  • Hannah -

The fire hero waved him off dismissively. "Nonsense, they'll deal with us if they refuse. They would be stupid to not allow you to turn over a new leaf. It's definitely not every day a villain like yourself purposely stops attacking heroes." Hannah gave him a kind smile before popping down beside him on the couch. She couldn't understand why, but with each passing second she felt that she was relaxing in the presence of this once dangerous villain. Her heart was jumping in her throat, threatening to leap straight out of her body. Did she even feel the same. Yeah, she thought she probably did. Hannah oddly enjoyed his playful banter during fighting sometimes, and he was definitely a formidable fighter with his strong energy beams. What does Nathan think about this whole situation? For once, Hannah wished she could read minds instead, just to take a little peek to see what he was thinking. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes, digging into her pocket to retrieve the key to the handcuffs. The brunette seemed to trust him a little more. She reached over to relieve him of his restraints and dropped them onto the floor. "I'm very flattered." She confessed, biting back her shy behavior to trace a finger along his wrist, where the indents of the handcuffs still resided on his flesh.

His skin was soft and warm to the touch, warmer than usual. Was that a result of his power, or was he still embarrassed from his confession from just now? Really adorable. Hannah thought, her fingers moved to trail along his own before intertwining her fingers through his with a gentle look of awe. She was comfortable, she knew that for a fact as she leaned back once more and closed her eyes.

  • While Jacob had his doubts about becoming a hero, he couldn't help but admire the woman's confident statement. To him, there was no redemption. He had made his decision long ago, he might tell them about his past. For now, he just wanted to focus on the future. If I'm not to be a villain or a hero... what will I be? He sighed at his thoughts, however he was quickly pulled out of them when the girl leaned towards him. He watched her curiously before she unlocked his restraints. He was honestly quite shocked that the hero had released him of them. He wasn't exactly quite sure what to make of that, but he was relieved that he was no longer bound. At hearing her own confession, he turned to look at her and gave her wide-eyed stare. He couldn't quite believe what he was hearing. Does that mean... His mind didn't have long to think before he felt something on his wrist. His attention was brought to her fingers tracing his wrists. He swallowed gently, but tried his best not to look too nervous. His thoughts were quite incoherent as he felt her cool finger tips rub at a particular mark on his skin.

It was honestly quite a relief to find that she was cooler than him, with her power he always thought that she would be warmer. Her hands were smaller than his own, which came to some relief to the young villain. He noticed that they looked quite smooth, and almost delicate. Hard to believe based on the few attacks she tried on me. He almost chuckled. Suddenly, all thoughts came to unanticipated halt when he felt something interlace with his fingers. He stared down at their hands and swallowed nervously again. To express his gratitude, he gently rubbed his thumb against her pinky. He shifted his eyes to look at the woman once more. She had closed her eyes and seemed to relax, which was quite surprising considering Jacob was still considered a villain.

  • Hannah -

Hannah was surprised that he was capable of such a gentle touch. She found that his touch felt a lot like an electric thrill, she wondered if he still had a bit of Nathan's electric power in his body, but she pushed the thought out of her mind. It felt good, that was for sure. Her lips parted slightly and she let out a gentle sigh of content, squeezing his hand to show her own gratitude. His presence was rather calming now compared to when they were fighting, and that was weird. Hannah sighed once more, and ran her thumb along the back of his hand. She felt an overwhelming urge to feel him against her, but she pushed that to the back of her mind. The female's lips twitched and she unconsciously leaned forward into his body, letting out another sigh. Hannah was honestly happy that she met him, in a way. However she was worried as to when Nathan would return with the news of the Trickster's fate. His body is warm and she breathed in his scent, which was completely calming. Feeling confident, she slipped her arm around his waist and pulled him toward her, her finger lightly brushing along his exposed skin. "For the record, I think I might feel something for you, too." Hannah breathed, pressing her lips into the corner of his mouth and she pulled back a little to judge his reaction.

  • Jacob had been worried that his slight action might've scared the young hero, she had flinched at the sudden brush of his thumb. Idiot, idiot, idiot. Surprisingly to him, she didn't move away and actually began to reciprocate the touch by gliding her thumb over his hand. It was soothing in a way, his body slowly began to relax and he felt somewhat at ease. He had never thought in his wildest that either hero would actually touch him... well, besides throwing a punch at his face. This was a lot intimate. What should I do? He thought, but the girl was a lot quicker and decisive than he thought. He felt a slight pressure against his body and he could feel his heart start to pound faster. He could suddenly feel her fingers glide across his waist, her cool fingertips tracing his exposed skin. It was a pleasant experience for the villain and he let out a silent sigh. He was quite mesmerized by the simple touch and leaned slightly into the girl. At hearing her speak, his mind went blank. Wait, what? Wait, what? He felt something brush across the corner of his mouth. It was soft, yet firm and he could feel his heart start to go into overdrive. She had... kissed him. Feeling his face flush yet again, he opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. He suddenly leaned into the girl, not thinking too much about what he was going to do. His thoughts would make him a lot more indecisive and nervous. His free hand moved to the leg closest to him. His nose brushed against her's. Then their lips met and a shock went down Jacob's spine, as if Nathan had sent a shock through his body.

  • Hannah -

This was no doubt the most pleasant experience the hero had ever had. She couldn't explain the feeling, but to her, it was pretty damn amazing. She felt like her heart was going to run away from her body from how hard it was pounding, and yet she felt like she needed more. Hannah wanted to feel his touch more; his fingers, his skin, everything. She pulled away, panting softly before tilting her head to kiss him from a different angle, even going so far as to trace her tongue across his bottom lip. Her head was swimming, her heart pounding louder still until she could only hear the rapid beating in her ears and nothing else. She was in euphoria, and she did not want to leave. Yeah, I definitely feel something for you.

  • Jacob groaned softly when she reciprocated the kiss. While she had been the one to initiate it, he was still very confused as to why. I can't even imagine what the other villains would think of this... let alone other heroes. He tried not to think about it, most likely he would have been beaten to death if either saw this situation. When the girl pulled away, it seemed both of them were a hot mess. Jacob's cheeks were red and he was panting softly. However, she didn't let him rest for long because he suddenly felt her tongue brush across his lower lip. Shit! He thought with a moan. He felt rather bold by opening his mouth to allow her entrance, but this was the only way to advance the kiss. He was leaving it to her if she wanted to continue or not.

  • Hannah -

Her body grew hotter and hotter by the second. She felt as if her whole being woe burst into flames if she didn't stop. And that would be very, very bad. The female didn't care though, she was comfortable with testing her self control, which was pretty important. Besides, if she couldn't control her fire powers in a situation like this, who's to say she would be able to control in a situation that caused her great anger? She had never been angry before, so the thought of not being able to control it when she was mad actually scared her. Hannah swallowed nervously, but when he parted his lips so she could gain access, it was all over. She was a goner. The hero's tongue brushed against his, hesitant and slow. Hannah was feeling pretty unsure of herself now. Of course she would be, she had never done anything like this before. But yet here she was, aroused and wanting more as if she knew exactly what it was she was doing and in a way she did. She was practically giving her soul to a villain, who may or may not become a hero after his capture. But it feels worth it. Her hand glided along his arm until it rested against his cheek, running her thumb gently across his cheekbone.

  • Jacob breathed in through his nose. He could tell that she was trying her best to remain focused. He somehow guessed that her emotions often controlled her power. It wasn't all that odd, most villains and some heroes had issues with controlling their powers when emotions came into play. The heroes had schools that helped them with problems such as these, but sometimes when a hero had an extremely mighty power it took further training and control. Villains, on the other hand, weren't given the opportunity and some of the time preferred to act on their emotions. Jacob would often lose his cool, but he tried his best to maintain focus. He was probably lucky that he had schooling and some minor sidekick training under his belt.

While he was going to be a bit submissive and let her explore his own mouth, he wasn't about be completely submissive. The villain's tongue gently battled against her own, he even gently nibbled on her tongue. He was careful with his incisors though, the four teeth were a lot sharper than most human's (except those who may have an animal power). Jacob was curious to see how far the make-out session would go, but it came to abrupt halt. The door to the apartment had opened and Jacob nearly jumped out of his skin. He quickly pulled slightly away from the female hero, just enough so that they weren't actually kissing. It wasn't long before Nathan stood before them, his gaze falling on the two that were on the couch. His cold stare bore into the villain and Jacob couldn't help but squirm. "I see you're having some fun with him." The dark-haired hero smirked at his partner. Seemingly, he didn't look all that upset with the two.

  • Hannah -

At that very moment, Hannah wished she hadn't kissed the villain. She liked Nathan, a lot, so she was pretty ashamed to be caught making out with someone else. After the high died down, she could hardly believe she had made out with him. With her cheeks red, she stood up and walked a couple of pages away from the two. "S-shut up!" Her tone was uncharacteristically harsh as she bumped into Nathan's shoulder, barely looking behind her as she made her way to her room, where she spent her time when she needed to think. "I'm going to be in my room." She slammed the door shut behind her and flopped down onto her bed, suddenly feeling spent. Hannah didn't use her powers much today, but she felt like she had been using it throughout the whole day. She was definitely tired, the crime fighting and running errands all day wore her body down. Her stomach growled and she realized she hadn't eaten since breakfast. But with that awkward encounter still stabbing at her brain, she refused to exit her room to get something to eat. The brunette felt like she had just ruined any and all chances of ever getting with her partner. Actually, what is going on with that? He acts like he likes me but... Hannah was confused, and that make out session moments ago didn't help her much. It only served to jumble her thoughts even more.

Hannah had liked Nathan for quite some time now, maybe even loved him. But with all of the hero work they had to do on a daily basis, she figured he didn't want to get involved in a relationship, especially with his partner. But since she was always so kind, she never stopped taking care of him in any way she could.

  • Jacob moved his mouth up and down, but he was far too nervous and embarrassed to speak. The male hero had just caught them red-handed. The villain's eyes glanced over at Red Flare. Her reaction... was a bit more hotheaded than his own. She began to storm off and quickly made her way over to another room in the apartment, which he assumed was her bedroom. "Red-" He was about to reach out for her hand before she could get much further. However, the other hero grabbed his hand before he could even make his way over to Red Flare. "Give her some space." Nathan stated, giving the villain a surprisingly warm stare. The hero gently rubbed a thumb over the back of the villain's hand, obviously trying to release any tension or stress. The villain looked back at the door that the female hero had previously slammed. He debated for a couple of seconds before nodding, figuring that X-Ray probably knew his partner better than he did.

"I see that she helped you clean your wounds... sorry about that." The hero examined the villain closely. "Y-Yeah, she did." Jacob stuttered, he seemed to be still reeling from the fact that he had just made-out with his crush and a hero. Nathan studied the other male for a second before moving his hand to the villain's chin, lifting it with his index finger and thumb. The hero gently glided his thumb over an area that had collected some saliva. "I almost wish you two didn't stop." The hero smirked looking at the seemingly bashful villain. Jacob seemed to freeze at the touch and could feel his cheeks glowing red. The hero slowly began to lean in towards Nathan, still playing with his lower lips slightly. Jacob could feel his legs going weak, almost threatening to buckle underneath him. Surprisingly, the hero stopped and gently pulled back. "Let's get you cleaned and into some fresh clothes." The hero smiled, his hand returning back to the villain's and gently guiding him.

That's how Jacob found himself in the hero's bathroom. Jacob was slightly surprised by how nice it was, the shower was a walk-in and was separate from the bath. "Feel free to use either one. I'll assume you won't try to escape." The hero winked at him and handed him a black t-shirt and a pair of solid gray boxers. "I'll go make an apology dinner for Hannah, I'm sure she's hungry. Once you're done, feel free to help me out. I'm not the best cook." The hero chuckled dryly before leaving the villain alone in the bathroom.

After fifteen minutes, Jacob left the bathroom. He had not realized how sore his body was before feeling that first wave of warm shower water. He probably spent more time than he should've, but he couldn't but feel nervous about approaching the hero who was currently in the kitchen. As Jacob made his way into the kitchen, he couldn't help but hear a silent curse from the hero. He slowly approached the room and looked in. His eyes focused on the hero who was currently at the stove. He slowly approached the taller man and looked over his shoulder. He was currently sitting in front of a pot of bow-tie pasta. "What are you making?" The villain arched an eyebrow. "Hm? Um, I was going to make some alfredo... but we don't have the ingredients. So, I was going to do tomato sauce... but we don't have any." The hero stated, shifting his gaze to look at the video. He couldn't help but snicker at what the villain was wearing. Of course, it had been his clothes but they were a couple of sizes too big. Adorable. "Let me see what you got in the fridge, maybe I can do something." The villain approached the fridge and opened it. His eyes scanned over the contents, before landing on some prime ingredients. He pulled out a bottle of white cooking wine, butter, a lemon, and a block of Parmesan. "This should do."

"So, you know how to cook." The hero chuckled, watching the villain as he worked in the kitchen. It was the only thing that came to mind after watching the villain cook for half an hour. "Well, when you live by yourself you don't have much of a food... and there's only so many times you can do take-out." The villain laughed a little. He was finishing up the plates of food. "We might have to rely on take-out if this doesn't fill us," he joked, "say "Ah"." The hero stuck out a fork out with a few pieces of pasta on them towards the hero. "Ah." The hero droned and took the bite of food into his mouth. "... that's really good." The hero licked his lips enjoying the lemony taste of the pasta. "Is this good enough as an apology?" The villain laughed and rubbed at the back of his neck. "Hopefully." The hero smiled.

The villain and hero slowly approached the girl's room. Nathan gently knocked his free hand against the door. "Hey, we brought you some food." The dark-haired man shouted just loud enough so she could hear him. "We... need to talk." The hero shifted his head to look back at the villain. Jacob was currently holding both Hannah's and his portions of pasta, shuffling back and forth uncomfortably on his feet and remaining quiet.

  • Hannah -

Hannah held a picture in her hands, one of way back when she was young. This particular picture held her and her father and mother, her father holding her close against his chest with the brightest smile she had ever seen on a human being. Her mother had her arms wrapped firmly around the two, laying her head on her husband's shoulder as she grinned brightly at the camera. Oh, how she wished her father was still alive, she bet her life on it that her mom would still smile like that just as she had in the photo. But the more she thought about it, the more she knew that reality was far too cruel. She wished things were different, but there was nothing she could do about it. Hannah realized she had been crying when the two knocked on her door, and she wiped furiously at the gathered tears and put the picture back onto the nightstand where it belonged. Red Flare would be lying if she said she wanted to talk, but she was so frustrated that she didn't want to. She felt like her life was in shambles and she couldn't fix it, no matter how badly she wanted to.

A loud sigh escaped her lips as she steadied the picture and stood up from the bed, going toward the door to unlock her bedroom door before opening it for the two. "I don't want to talk, but whatever you guys have to say, I'll listen." Her gaze was fixed on the floor as she turned back to go and lay on the bed once more.

  • Nathan only nodded when his partner opened her door. He slowly walked in, Jacob nervously followed him. His eyes focused on the girl and he couldn't help but notice that she looked quite sullen. Her eyes were bloodshot and swollen, as if she had been crying. He stiffened, almost thinking that he had caused her such anguish. Something in his chest tightened and he couldn't help but focus his attention on the floor of the room. The boys made their way over to the girl. They sat the plates down on her desk, the pasta could probably use some cooling off.

"So, is he a good kisser? He seems kind of shy, but I could see it." Nathan couldn't help but tease the two. He wasn't the best at lightening the mood, but he did have his moments. As he made his way over to Hannah, his eyes flickered over to the frame of her parents and her. They then focused back on the girl before he sat next to her on the bed. He then motioned for Jacob to approach them, noticing that the villain was keeping his distance. The villain slowly approached them and was about to sit next to Nathan, however Nathan had other plans. The hero suddenly grabbed Jacob's wrist and pulled the other man towards him... Jacob was immediately situated in Nathan's lap. The villain seemed positively flabbergasted, his face turning as red as a tomato. The villain's mouth opened and closed, but no words or sounds came out of it. "Hm... he is quite cute." Nathan focused his attention on the girl, giving her one of his rare warm smiles

  • Hannah -

The girl honestly wondered if he was trying to get a rise out of her on purpose, but she sort of dismissed it since it was something he rarely did, if ever. Hannah sighed loudly, turning toward the two with narrowed eyes. "If you came in here just to tease me, then I want to be left alone. Nathan, you know how I feel about that kind of thing." She honestly forgot about the villain for a second, but at this point she didn't care if he knew their real names or not, because she doubted he would do anything about it now. Hannah turned her back for a second before her partner started to speak again, so she turned back and look at him. His smile melted her heart, she couldn't deny that. She was still angry at him, but she nodded at him when he asked her questions. The girl didn't know what else she could say, she did appreciate the fact that he went out of his way to try to prepare an apology for her, which the villain obviously assisted in making. "What did you need?" She finally asked as she turned to face him as she lay on the bed.

  • Nathan couldn't help but smile again when Hannah nodded her head to his question, which caused the young villain to blush again. "We're here to apologize... well, I'm here to apologize." The dark-haired hero acknowledged. "I'm sorry. It was just... you two were so cute and I, being me, had to be awkward and ruin it for you two." The hero admitted, he surprisingly looked bashful. "I honestly kind of wanted to kiss you both myself." His gaze then shifted to look at her directly. He couldn't help but squeeze the villain's hips, causing the villain to jump slightly. "So, what will take for you to forgive me?" The hero asked his partner, trying his best to read her emotions.

Meanwhile, Jacob shifted around slightly in the other man's lap. He couldn't quite believe how direct the hero was being with his partner. He liked us kissing? He wanted to kiss her? He wanted to kiss me? The young villain's mind was still reeling.
