Jess was perfectly content to stay with Able. The nurses came and checked on her every hour. The police came in a questioned her but she genuinely didn’t remember anything about the attack or the kidnapping. Just the building she escaped from. After they left she blew out a breath and ran a hand through her hair “Able do you have my phone?” She asked realizing she hadn’t had it on her.

He questioned as he looked around then grabbed one off the side table,
"Is this it?"
He questioned as he handed it to her

She nodded “yes thank you” she smiled. Of course her best friend had sent a billion texts. A couple actors sent their condolences. The director telling her they would postpone till she was ready. She couldn’t help but smile a bit at all of the attention.

He raised a brow before he sat down beside her and smiled,
"Yeah everyone was SUPER happy to here you were okay"
He told her as he pulled out his phone,
"You know after the fact that your friend threatened me with every inch of my life she's not a bad person"
He joked as he showed her the message

She chuckled “yep seems about right” she shook her head “sorry your life was threatened by her” she smirked “she’s really protective of me.”

He laughed as he put his phone up,
"Its food to have friends like her though, she's scary but that not a bad thing"
He said softly as he looked at her

She nodded in agreement “yeah. It is” she said. She sat in silence for a moment her blue eyes lightning and darkening as if she was trying to decide something “uh Able a-about the other night...” she said nervously looking anywhere but him her heart beating fast but the heart monitor they had placed on her had already given her frantic heart beat away

"Yeah I wanted to talk to you about that but then everything happened"
He said softly as he looked back at her,
"Tell me what you were going to say"

She bit her lip not knowing how to word it. She chewed her lip nervously “well uh... I... I didn’t want you t-to think that it was j-just a hook up. Not to me at least” she finally managed to say her hands shaking softly

He frowned slightly and sighed,
"Is that why you left... because you though it was a one night thing? No Jess you know I'm not like that"
He said softly as he pulled her in for a hug

She nodded and hugged him “I just I know we both drank and I- I thought you only had don’t it cause of the play and the drinks and” she couldn’t finish cause tears stared slipping and she buried her face into Ables shoulder.

He rubbed her back softly and just let her cry it out, smiling slightly as he did so.

Jess calmed down after a minute. She moved and wiped her eyes sniffling softly “wh-what’s with the smile” she hiccuped softly as she tried to calm herself down.
