Just as Madeline began loosing hope, and the boys began getting too hopeful, a woman (she want 100 percent sure if it was really a woman) approached. Over the loud noise, it was hard to tell what she was saying, but the men’s grip loosened on her and her reached up to clasp what she rightfully assumed was her outstretched hand. Pulling herself up she draped an arm around the other woman’s shoulders to steady herself. This woman was her knight in shining armor, for tonight a least.

She watched as the men grumbled to one another, undoubtedly cursing the woman for ruining their fun as they stood up and walked off. They shot a few glances back at the two women before disappearing into the throng of people. A deep sigh escaped Madeline and she patted the other woman’s shoulder with a very drunken smile spread across her lips.

“Wow, you really saved me there..” Her words were slurred horribly and she was sure it was difficult to understand. Her free hand brushed some of her hair from her face as she peered at the other woman.

    (( tubig . ))

  • Rhianna threw an arm over Madeline's shoulders too to help steady her further, and then took her over to the bar, sitting her on a stool one away from where Liv sat, and then sitting on the stool between Liv and Madeline. "No problem, but I won't do it again," Rhianna scoffed, turning and nodding to Melodia but otherwise leaving her and Liv to their own conversation. "Can you even remember what happened?" She asked Madeline, drumming her fingers on the bar.

    "Speech"

    \ RHIANNA HADLEY / HUMAN \ NO PACT \

Cory made what might have been a chuckle if he was human, before he hopped off Jaden's head. Before he hit the floor, Cory materialised into his human form and leaned against the bar with his signature shit-eating grin. "Now now, don't drink too much or something bad might happen," Cory warned, although it might have been hard to tell if he was being serious or not due to the fact his grin never wiped off his face. Even as an eagle or a snake, Cory always seemed to be grinning. It was how you could tell him apart from others who may have the same morphs as him.

  • | Liv Chase / human / pact w/Archer

Liv smiled softly as Melodia bounced about behind the bar in her usual sunshiney-stupor. Melodia was a good hostess. Even if a bit naïve, she always looked out for her customers and made sure you were at the peak of boozed and amused. She gave you her full attention, and made you feel worth. “To Death,” Liv accepted the small glass from Mel, and rose it. “May she fuck you once and quick, and have me till I’m sick.”

    Clink!

Liv downed the vodka. At this point, it might as well have been water, what with all the other crap in her system. She rose the slim little cigarette holder to her lips again, and spotted the long-lost Rhianna reappear. Liv watched the girl she was with, trying to recall where she had seen her. She must have greeted her to the Slip at some point, but the two never actually spoke. Wait a minute...

Liv’s head then spun back to Mel, and cocked it slightly. “You still don’t have a pact, do you, Mel? A wry smile crept onto Liv’s face. Ooooohhh this was rich…. Spinning around on her stool, Liv scanned the room for contenders. She must have pointed out four or five different individuals in the club, ranging from dancers, to regular guests, to strangers she’s never met before. “… she might be good for you… kind of narcissistic, but fun at parties…” Liv spun back to Mel, with a curious smirk. “What do you think?”

    Rose / Demoloth / Pactless

The walls of the club were spattered with flecks of white and silver like a sky of synthetic stars. There were strips of trim that seemed to blend in with the black, and supported the bulk of the room’s psychedelic lighting. They wrapped around the entire perimeter, and one in particular was the perch of a rather odd character. Two icy blue eyes blinked. Still as a statue, they watched in silent resolve. But curiosity is a killer too tempting for some.

Paw for paw, the tabby crept along the edge, it’s outline barely visible against the black, and barely noticeable against the blaring music. Its final destination was beside the main entrance. About ten feet up, it stopped on the beam and took its new perch. The bouncer stood down below. He spoke with another, and so the cat waited until he was unoccupied. Rose knew him by nothing more than his name, and that he was in pact with the owner of the club. But that was all he needed.

Saith the Lord thy God unto Suhan, son of the damned: Sell ye not pots of cocaine, but boxes of wine.” The cat spoke, just loud enough for Archer and Archer alone to hear. Its tail curled around, and settled gently before its front paws. There was the faintest of amusement behind those blue eyes. “But Suhan sold cocaine anyway. Do you have any idea what God might have done then?” The voice was prim, but with a silky demeanor that allured just as much as it sent shivers down the spine. It was undoubtedly catlike. “Archer?”

  • Dhara "Dee" Langley | Demoloth Musician

—Dhara sipped on her daiquiri constantly, the straw had to be in her mouth for a good minute now. How she wasn’t getting a brain freeze was anyone’s guess, but it was probably because she was already intoxicated enough that stuff like that wasn’t going to bother her. Her head tilted back and forth as she vibed to the blaring music, or maybe a rhythm in her head. Either way it was bumping and she was digging it. When Liv sat down, she couldn’t help but giggle. Something she held back although. Why’d she giggle? She didn’t even know, everything was a little humorous to her right now. She was so high and she loved it... she just hoped she wouldn’t get in trouble. But of course Dee wasn’t the best at filtering her thoughts when under the influence, and what she did next had to just be plain stupid. She pulled out her purse again and grabbed the ziploc bag, but she kept it inside and out of view. "You look like you could go for a break," At least her words weren’t slurring...

jaden haneul lee & human & pact with cory

he couldn't really tell if cory was actually being considerate and looking out for him (for once in pretty much the whole time the two of them had known each other) or if the demoloth was just allowing himself to fall into his normal, usually sarcastic-sounding tone. and it was impossible to tell by looking at his expression, too: that stupid smile never came off of cory's face. jaden turned to look at him for a second, not breaking eye contact as he brought his drink to his lips again for another long, steady sip from it.

"something bad," jaden scoffed as he set his drink back down on the top of the bar. "i'm already dead, cory. what the hell's going to happen to me? it's not like i'd be away for long, if i was suddenly whisked away from this world, place, whatever you want to call it- well, not you'd let me just waltz around in life for very long, would you?" he knew now that demoloths made their pacts so they could feed off of the humans they had made them with, and if jaden was gone then so was cory's source for his food.

letting out a soft hum now, he looked at cory out of the corner of his eye, letting a saccharine-sweet smile split across his face. "besides," he then cooed sarcastically, "i've got my good old pact-mate-thing watching over me, don't i?" dark eyebrows arched up as he said this, turning once again in his seat so he could look straight at cory. he'd be very much please if cory could just leave him alone, but jaden guessed that, by this point, being alone wasn't something he should ever expect- and on the rare times it did happen, assume that it wouldn't be for very long.
