The place is small, but the family makes due.

Personality: Morgan is the type of person who seeks to understand and contextualise the world around him. History: Morgan was born and raised in central Heidleberg. His parents are both city officials of some sort and he often stays with his grandmother closer to the edge of town when they are busy. While she used to take care of him when he was little, these days he’s mainly the one taking care of her. Probably the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to Morgan was the infestation of screaming nettle worms in his grandmother’s garden when he was six. He was never the same after that.

Personality: Mischievous but protective. Met Kai who was exploring an abandoned building and managed to stop them from collapsing a wall on themselves. Decided to stick around because what a danger magnet this kid is.

About you: Before meeting Kai, orion was no different from any other Oíche but something awoke inside them to want to help them. They took on physical form to push kai out of the way and ended up staying that form. They now take on the form of a regular german shepherd.

History: typically Oíche don't focus on specific humans they tend to have flighty emotions and will pick and choose who they help or mess with. Their form is pitch black but glitters with constellations in a swirling haze though their form does take on a vaguely canine form.

Other: Orion can switch between physical and immaterial forms at will. When they do the colour drains from their fur to pitch black their eyes glow white constellation patterns forming across there shadowy body.

Name: Referred to as "Iram" by the locals. The ones who speak of it in serious tone speak it's name like a title, "Iram, The Shadowless".

Species: Unknown, yet it's certainly not human.

Age: A fair share of sifting around the town's history and some observations of tell-tale ages of marks left by it say it's a hundred years old at least.

Gender: None, yet it's posture and build are masculine.

Personality: It lives in the mountains above, perching on the highest spires and looking below to strike unsuspecting prey, a massive claymore resting upon it's shoulder, every muscle in it's body tense and shaking, a white-hot breath of air escaping it's iron maw, scorching the wind; a purely feral and monstrous entity, it's movements showing it's internal struggle to control itself, each joint twitching with insatiable hunger and psychopathy, it's instincts alone guiding it, as it appears to possess little to no real mental sapience, almost seeming numb to the world, apparently blind and/or deaf, to eviscerate and consume anything it happens upon in it's ceaseless wandering. It is advised by the higher-ups to never confront this being if it can be helped, and to hide if it smells you; and to deliver you unto a fast death if it catches you.

History: It has always been a fact of life that those who wander too far from Heidleberg do not always make it back, yet those who venture away from the town and onto the mountains have always been greeted by the Iram that lives there; supposedly it has been around for longer than anyone has cared to investigate, scars on the surrounding area that only it could make still there for all to see. It's unknown where it came from or who smithed it's signature greatsword that no man could possibly lift, and most questioned of all, no one even knows what it is, really.

Other: 8'6 tall. It's sword is just as long and 2" thick. It's estimated to weigh at least an actual quarter-ton (as in approximately 500 pounds); this being the leading reason as to the idea that the Iram has superhuman capabilities. It earned it's title due to the observable fact that the creature absorbs all light around it; like a flame, it has no shadow.

Personality: Myra is pretty weird to say the least; she's usually wandering around town or just glancing around doing nothing at all. She has a knack for knowledge about the things outside the village, as she was born inside the city and has never actually seen the surrounding area up close before. She seems passive towards things normally considered gross, creepy, or frightening, apparently enjoying them instead, often befriending insects and predatory animals simply because she wasn't afraid to offer the creatures friendship. She isn't very good at drawing, unlike her mother, but tries hard to draw the horizon of the mountains or ocean from her roof, commenting that 'she tried'. She's also a bit of a flirt, poking at every other person she find even slightly attractive, but often times those people just become her friends.

History: Born to Nikolai Crane, a hunter, and Anichka Crane, an artist, Myra was primarily raised by her mom, as her father was often in the forest, gathering skins to sell for quick profit, as Anichka often needed more time than he to generate a profit. Myra and her parents live on the coast in a modest house with a rooftop overlook, which is easy to spot from afar.
