The solemn fall of snowflakes descending upon the wintry landscape was erupted by the yawn of a distant being, coated in a peach-color as her red scarf swayed from oscillated onto one foot and back toward the other as each traverse was torn back into the other. The distant sound of wind howling against her ears was yet to be embraced, but the vigorous current had left its bitter trace that left the young pup bunched up in a makeshift den she had solely made for herself. Her bodyheat took up every extremity, or whichever she could take up, her shivers wracking her frame accompanied by a soft sneeze that blew away a few bits of snow from over her angled snout. She was unsure of her whereabouts, the distant sound of snow countering her every waking moment, and with the loss of scent, she could barely pick up a morsel. Picking up her head, she attempted to decipher her surroundings, but needle-like stabs perforating her vision, causing her to advert her gaze back into her paws with a soft grunt. "Someone help me!"

  • Even during the chill winds of the skies the female allowed her wings to carry her. Even with this much snow Blizzardclan was a lively thing, a continuously moving creature that never seemed to sleep. That was one thing she liked about Blizzardclan as a whole the fact that it was alive and that it never seemed to get dull. Even with animals she knew she had a disliking for and those that she tolerated she wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Most other clans she had already deemed as inferior and wouldn't hold her attention but for mere minutes before moving on. Her eyes scanned the area beneath her and she tilted her head a bit as she looked at the area, gaze shifting over the lay of the land before she heard the small outcry of someone calling for help. Something she couldn't ignore even if she was sick. Diving down the pastel colored princess would sail through the air and once she spotted the pup she flared out her wings and landed with a soft crinkling of ice coated claws against the ground. A soft frown was upon the woman's features as she looked at the other and she shook her head a little bit. "You shouldn't be out here all alone. What's your name? I'm Valaerya, the medic of Blizzardclan and I can help you."

Succumbing to the warmth that enveloped her, the shiba had began to meander into the cordial arms of the snow around her. And as hope seemed lost, and she was sure that she'd be nothing more then a corpse, a maternal voice called to her in a tone so sweet, she could have sworn she had been reborn, but as her eyelids began to park to reveal two chocolatey orbs, she was met with the pastel form of a creature, a incoherent one through the blur that countered her vision. "Mama?" she managed through the whisp, icicles having seeming manufactured along her eyelashes only furthering her inability to see. When realizing that this being wasn't that, she grunted. "My name's Daifuku, A-Akamine.. I'm cold.."

  • hole in my soul, don't know how to fill it up

The frost feathered his black fur like white paint edging black strokes of a heavy brush. The snow fall seemed to grow with every step and Aleksei decided to get back to camp before he froze his butt off in the cold.

However, on his journey back, he swore he heard a faint cry for help in the white-veiled brush. Curious, he began heading in that direction, only to find his niece and a pup in the snow. "Valaerya," he offered in a curt greeting towards the medic before he approached Daifuku. "Let's get her to camp. I can carry her," he suggested softly.

  • It had been cold when Narukami found Niko, though it had been inconsequential. Temperature had bothered him little, just as hunger and thirst had failed to capture his attention, but when he had seen the small bundle of fur on the forest floor, some of the haze had faded. He would never regret that day, though it might be...nice, if Niko were to return to him. Nice, as though Narukami did not miss her every moment. Regardless of having a daughter, a difficulty with children remained, and so after he had followed the cry for help, he considered leaving Aleksei and Valaerya to it. They were both more than capable of handling the pup, but the sarape around his shoulders felt heavy, heavier than when Gomen and Tomoe occupied it. They were curled up in his cottage at the moment.

Exhaling, his breath fogging the air, Narukami slowly slipped Rosemont's sarape from his shoulders. He hated the cold, but he would manage it better than this child, around whom he attempted to wrap the length of fabric. "I can go look for your mother," he offered quietly, assuming she would be a shiba.

In the second the three adults had arrived, the shiba had found herself feeling a tad bit safer then what she had felt prior. The cold air circulating around her had soon filled the very aura of warmth as she was hauled from her makeshift den so that she now was brought into the arms of another being. She grunted, again, in response to such a touch, as soon as another voice breached the air once more. When hearing the other's suggestion to go look for her mother, her ears swiveled back to meet the source and a soft frown fabricated along each corner of her mouth. "Um, I-I doubt you'll find her, but you.. you can look, if you want." She was unsure of her mother's whereabouts, but her mind warped back to the other having leaving her along the outskirts of this place, and telling her to stay still. It was something she had done, but in the process was left cold, and perhaps quite miserable. She had heard of children being abandoned, and it was a common thing to happen, but never had she expected for it to occur to her.
