  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Honestly, Ella had neglected her outdoor garden for WAY too long. The once vibrant and beautiful herbs and flowers were surely dying due to the cold and lack of care. After looking at the dead, or dying, flora for a few days she finally decided to do something about it.

    After gathering up some materials she quickly began getting to work. She had began to get the seeds from some of the plants she couldn't revive first. After all, with her powers she could easily make the seeds grow. Once she got those together she took out all the dead plants from their place.

    Honestly, it had been a while since she had enjoyed her garden. When she had first joined BlizzardClan she had been known for the flora growing around her home. Some could have even called her a 'flower child'. After her trauma though she had failed to socialize and do the things she once loved. The feline had become increasingly tired due to nightmares, and her depression clouded her mind with a thick fog. Now though something was changing. She was slowly starting to find ways to improve her life even if only a little bit.

    As Ella finished taking out all the dead plants she took a step back with a thoughtful expression. Maybe she could change up the layout to match the season. She could plants some more Christmas themed flowers to celebrate the holiday. She could even find a way to get a Christmas tree planted and grown in order to decorate it.

    As the ideas flowed through her mind she stood in front of the dying plants clearly in deep thought.

    // Nero. Here ya go!

    //ah thank you!

    Explore the islands they said, it'll be fun they said. The large wolf-like canine seemed to almost sulking through his trek, sour and irritated with the chore. What good was learning the territory? A few hunting patrols and he'd have it memorized and get his blood flowing at the same time.

    One thing did catch his eye, a feline working with flowers? Dead flowers, Nero approached curiously and almost mesmerized by the work. Flowers were one of the few things he did enjoy, though good luck getting the male to admit that.

    "What are you doing?" He'd ask, as he came to a stand still beside her following her gaze. She seemed lost in thought but about what? The dead flowers?

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Ella didn't even notice the large canine approaching her until he spoke up. When he did though she jumped a little ways away from him turning her head to face him. For a moment she stood there looking at him wearily. He seemed to be a new member of the clan. A grumpy one too.

    "I'm working on my garden," she answered simply as she relaxed a bit. She still kept her distance from the stranger as she began taking some of the seeds of her dying plants out of a basket. "I'm Ella," she said as she began moving some of the soil around and buried the seeds. Some of the plants she wanted to use for her garden though she would have to create the seeds herself.

    Once she got all the seeds together she went over to some dying red anemones. There were a few that still had some petals on them, but by now they had withered losing the bright scarlet hue. The femme sat down near them though and put her paw gently on the ground next to it focusing her power into the roots.

    After a couple of moments the flowers slowly began healing and growing. The leaves and stems became green, bulbs began forming, and some even became entirely repaired. With this improvement a small smile found itself on the usually dreary feline. This was her where her happiness was. This was what she truly enjoyed.

    sorry for the late response.

    Surprise crossed his face as she jumped, momentarily forgetting he wasn't in camp. Ya know, where people half expect to be approached by another and conversed with. So as the scene processed, heat flushed his cheeks in embarrassment. Nero never meant to scare her.

    "Oh, cool." He'd say, plotting down on his haunches with a deadpan look like a kid watching their parents work. It was interesting at the very least, though he didn't full understand. Her name crossed her lips and embarrassment hit him once more, his name! "Nero.." One could hear it in his voice, the irritation or grumpiness melted and gave way to nervousness.

    Oceanic eyes widen as he watched her revive the plants by doing what seemed like nothing. What was that? "Neat trick, what did you do?" Nero was generally intrigued now, and his body language expressed such.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — The feline listened as he spoke his name as she revived the dying flowers. Nero. It was simple yet unique. She made sure to make a mental note of it in case she needed to remember it.

    Once the patch of anemones were all revived she took a small step back. "I have the power to create and manipulate plants," Ella explained as her green hues shifted over to the male. She then looked back at the other dying flora around the bright red blooms. The small, peaceful smile lingered on her maw as she went over to one of the random patches of dirt. She stopped when she reached close to the center of it, and looked at the ground.

    She moved her paw over spots she could reach from there. At each spot she placed her paw on the dirt and waited a few moments before going to a new one. Once she was sure she finished up what she was doing she moved to the edge of the circular area. The flower crowned femme turned around and sat at the edge of the circle making sure to not be inside.

    Once again she focused her energy into the ground. After a couple seconds of silence sprouts slowly formed out of the soil. Keeping her focus on the tiny plants, they continued to keep growing for another minute or so into fully matured red barberry bushes. Pleased by her work, Ella's smile grew a little larger as she looked at bushes and flowers.
