  • ❝ I'M BORDERLINE GOOD AND I'M BORDERLINE BAD ❞

By this point, Sasha's paws were growing tired and her back starting to grow sore. She decided shortly after arriving to the border, that she would need to make a trip home and rest before visiting the remaining clans, if there were any left. The fae had also forgotten her list at home, so she was just swinging it at this point. However, this didn't eliminate the fact that she was grateful the northern-more territory that hosted The Dark Dynasty wasn't as far as she had anticipated.

"Hello!" The fae would finally call, ready to get her visit rolling. "I'm Sasha, from Thunderlands! I'm here to exchange updates regarding our clans and invite you to our Clan Camp Decoration Competition!"

  • Samuel followed behind his sister, yawning tiredly. How many clans were they allies with? He supposed that was a good thing, but still. Part of him considered shapeshifting into a damn bird or something so he could fly home and give his paws a rest. This journey wasn't as easy as it used to be. Getting old sucked.

The border collie sat down on the border and waited patiently for a Dark Dynasty member to arrive. He didn't bother saying his name - mostly everyone knew it anyways.

    "speech."

i was gonna be that one in a million—— tags.

  • Softvelvet hadn't been expecting so many people to be visiting his borders this week. Of course, it was an nice change , given how dead this place had been before he rose to power. It oddly made him a bit happy on the inside. Having been out and about, patrolling through the bamboo forest to make sure no one slipped past their borders, the catsune raises his head once he hears unfamiliar voices call into the territory. The Thunderlands...? That would be ex-ThunderClan, right? He remembers the clan's name being brought up in the Dynasty's extensive history though, admittedly, he didn't know anything about the clan itself.

The catsune arrives at the border shortly, tails wavering behind him as he flickers his gaze from Sasha to Samuel. Neither were familiar figures in his eyes. Hm... perhaps he'd change that. "Hello miss Sasha and sir." He dips his head towards the duo as he reclines into a seat, "The invitation sounds lovely, so I'm sure we would be able to attend but, ah... I'd be lying if I said I was aware we had an alliance." A fault on his part, he guessed. Instead of relying on their books, perhaps he should have paid visits to everyone regarding alliances, but honestly he was a bit lazy and didn't like travelling all that much. "I'm Imperial Emperor Softvelvet, the leader here if you didn't already guess. It's a pleasure meeting you both." He introduces shortly.

  • Who was making the noise? The Emperor sometimes called out to get the group's attention, but this didn't sound like the Emperor. Was it... a wounded... large creature? Omniwing had a weird thought process that was seemingly fueled by only one thing: meat. It took over enough for the snake to believe that certain things would/were going to result in stuffing her belly with red flesh. The Cobra slowly stalked towards the noise, her tongue flickering out to taste the air.

    Wait a minute.

This was not going to result in a meal.

Sad. Very sad. Luckily, a snake's face was unable to show enough expressions such as severe disappointment. Omniwing finally revealed herself to both the fae and the Border Collie, tilting her head as she began to slowly process the sentence. "Camp...Decorat-...ation..." What did that meant? What was a "dekoratcion"? Is that food? Too many strange words. The snake's vocabulary was very limited, mostly due to the fact that she was only one step above from the average, feral, stupid snake.

A story where people die dramatically will sell, won't it? —

Henry had been out and about this afternoon, looking for supplies to complete his weekly task. It just so happened that, as he was walking by a stream in search of smooth rocks, that he heard a nearby voice call out. He couldn't make too many words out of it other than something about a "Thunderlands", "updates", and something to do with decorating. He was hesitant for a moment, but upon hearing another distant voice, he decided to follow the sounds of conversation. Henry soon spotted a group of three animals, only one among them being of a familiar frame. As he approached, he spotted another familiar clan member - the cobra - slithering out of the brush as he neared the scene. He paused a few steps behind Velvet, ears perked as he tilted his head to the side. The fossa gave the strangers an almost objective look. It took him but a moment to figure out that there was nothing tense about the situation. The strangers did not appear to want to bring any harm. Thus, the look on his face was soon replaced with friendly eyes and a smile.

Upon hearing Omniwing's voice, Henry turned his gaze down to them. He couldn't tell if they were asking a question or not. If they had, he wouldn't be able to answer it for he had only just come upon the scene.

  • ❝ I'M BORDERLINE GOOD AND I'M BORDERLINE BAD ❞

Sasha was happy to see her brother join her on this trip. Admittedly, it was borung traveling about alone. However, as SoftVelvet approached and began to speak, it was clear that this was not going to he a very orthodox trip at all. Her brows furrowed in concern and question, glancing at her brother. She knew the Dynasty was on the recognized alliance list, and thus, question and concern grew. Distraction graced her momentarily as the two other Dark Dynasty members appeared, however it did little to pull her attention away from the hiccup in the road.

"That's... Strange." The fae half-mumbled as she mulled over the statement provided. "Well, your name is on our recognuzed alliance list. Unless it's been out of date for a while... I'm not sure I have a answer, otherwise. That being said, I think a arrangement between yourself and our leader may he beneficial to iron out that little bump."

  • — Softvelvet wasn't sure what had happened for politics to get so... weird like this, but he wanted to make sure nothing of the sort happened again. He could only wonder what might've happened for such a mix up to occur - probably poor communication, honestly - but at least the Thunderlanders seemed willing to fix this right up. "Strange indeed, hm." He remarks with a slight tilt of his head. "I'll be more than willing to pay a visit to the Thunderlands and speak with your leader, hun. I'll leave now so we can get this straightened right out." Says the Emperor with a hum, turning his gaze onto Henry at that exact moment. "When I leave for the day, you'll be in charge, okay?" Requests he, a smile curling upon his lips. If he got this out of the way quickly, they could return to normality in no time.

As one of the strangers and Velvet conversed, Henry managed to piece together what he believed he had missed. Apparently, there was an issue with their alliance with the Thunderlands and his leader was unsure of said alliance. Or was it that he was just unsure that they were allied with them? Either way, that was indeed a strange predicament that was unfolding before him. Softvelvet was the leader of the Dark Dynasty, so wouldn't it be his responsibility to keep track of alliances? It would seem an essential thing to keep track of. He would make the excuse that perhaps there was a lot going on that kept Velvet from keeping track. However, he couldn't shake how huge of a responsibility that was. Just as Henry was getting lost in his thoughts, he was torn from them upon the leader turning their gaze to him. "When I leave for the day, you'll be in charge, okay?" The fossa's jaw nearly dropped at what sounded to him more like a demand than a request. His eyes widened, barely able to keep a straight face. He knew it would be for only a day but... leaving a near complete stranger in charge of the clan? He felt the lump of a refusing reply becoming lodged in his throat. He only knew Henry's name, how could he be sure- "Alright," came a slow, hesitant response. He tried to swallow his doubts, brows upturning as he offered an awkward smile. Henry was getting ahead of himself. Surely the leader knew what they were doing? Then again, they were the one not keeping track of alliances.
