She nodded weakly before looking up as well.
“Well, well.” Sonic grinned lightly as he jogged over slowly, lifting his own hand in greeting.
“Sir Percival, Sir Gawain...! Yo, long time no see!”

“Sonic, we need your help,” Percival said as her ears flattened. “There’s trouble in our dimension...”

The friendly smile dropped almost immediately, eyes softening.
“What’s...?”
“This... this monster...” Gawain looked to the blue hedgehog, his own eyes weakening.
“It just showed up out of nowhere, and... and within mere hours, we got reports that all across the globe, kingdoms were falling like rotted wood...”

Percival nodded weakly. “We barely escaped... but it’s growing in strength; its dark creatures have no end... Many of our knights have fallen, even those of the Round Tablen... if we don’t do something soon, our citizens will fall as well...”

“Dark creatures, growing in strength...?” He paused, slowly crossing his arms.
“I... I hate to ask this, but it’s just a feeling... is it Merli... the dark queen, again?”
“N-no, it isn’t... i-it’s far worse”

Percival shook her head, ears drooping as her eyes saddened. “No... whatever it is, it’s brought our nights into a deep sleep... it takes the form of a young girl...”

“A young girl...?”
“She... she called her ‘Solaria’...”
Eh...?! Ain’t that—
Sonic nodded slowly, uncrossing his arms.
“Alright... I know it isn’t your usual style of doing things, but... come back to my place for a while. The family can help you with whatever you need, I’ll need to see a friend for... ‘advice’...”

She nodded before turning back to Vivian. “Are you stable?..“

“Yea...” She nodded slowly, clinging her spell book tightly to her chest, ears flattening.
“I’ll be good...”
Sonic glanced to Percival, softly motioning to Vivian with a thumb.
“She ok...?”

Percival sighed, turning back to Sonic with gentle eyes. “Rosalyn... was among those lost...”

“Rosalyn...?” His brow furrowed slightly in thought before the realisation struck him.
“O-oh, oh... I see”
He paused, glancing about again before looking back to them.
“What about Caliburn and Nimue? Are they ok?”

“As far as we know, yes... they were headed to the Divine Realm to see if they can learn more about this being...” Percival nodded slowly. “We came here to ask for help..”

He nodded slowly before turning slightly.
“Alright, let’s head to mine... thankfully we aren’t too far from home.”
He slipped a hand into his pocket, withdrawing a small ear-piece phone and slipping it in.
“Better let Ames know beforehand.”

Percival nodded and gently supported Vivian, her eyes gentle.

Vivian leant into her with weak eyes, staying quiet.
What else did she have to say, after all? She failed Rosalyn, Nimue... all of them.
“Yo, Ames?” Sonic lifted two fingers to his ear, smiling lightly.
“Yea, don’t worry, everything went good... say, can I ask a massive favour? Yea, so I’ll have to cut the story short... got a couple of friends in desperate need of somewhere to stay for a while... think we’d be able to house them for a bit?”

Some chatter was heard as Amy quickly agreed to Sonic's proposition, never one to turn down guests.
Percival gently rubbed her back. "Don't worry. We'll get them back," she murmured softly.

“We should be there in...” He paused to glance over his shoulder to them, before looking back ahead.
“Hm, I’d have to do two journeys at most, not sure what speeds they can handle... about 5 minutes, maybe 10. Alright, thanks babe, love you~”
Vivian nodded slowly, keeping her ears flattened.
“I... I really hope so, Percival...”

"I promise. We'll do whatever it takes to get them back," she said, her gaze hardening slightly in determination.

Vivian nodded slowly before looking up as well.
Sonic turned back to them with a soft smile, dropping his hand.
“I’ll have to make two fast journeys... wanna go in any particular order, or just whoever?”
