Thunderpaw wandered out of the apprentice den and looked around. He could see most of the camp, but the lower parts were flooded. "Great StarClan!" This seemed weird. Thunderpaw wished his brother, Riverpaw, hadn't gone to RiverClan, but the great prophecy had inspired the young cat to leave ThunderClan to go to RiverClan. This seemed so common that it wasn't even funny. Thunderpaw remembered the ominous words of the prophecy:
"Thunder, River, Shadow , and Wind shall be the Paws of Morning, and the Stars shall look upon it as finished"
He wished Redstar had cut him some slack and stopped sending him prophecies. "Just let Branchstar handle it!" he thought. He went to the warrior's den to talk to his mentor, Duskpelt. He would know what to do. Duskpelt was a loyal, nice, and friendly cat with a dusky gray pelt and a long tail. "I'm glad that I don't have Heatstripe as my mentor, he would ruin my training.", he remarked. "Sturdypaw is learning much form Heatstripe, but we all know Heatstripe is named for his hot temper. even since he was a kit, he's never been very thoughtful about other cat's right to talk.
