  • I FEEL LIKE A MILLION BUCKS —

The young tom pranced around in the cold air, humming to himself. He was a bit bored, he would admit it, but he was hoping to change that momentarily. He scanned the area, seeing a few warriors sitting and talking and quickly moved his gaze past them. Maybe somebody his own age would like to hang out... someone like his sisters! He continued to walk and search the area, hoping to find one of his littermates. He didn't see Hazelkit anywhere, or even Skykit. So that left...

"Coldkit! Are you around here somewhere?" Stormkit called out, looking under a bush and then under a log. A wide smile graced his face as he continued to search for his sister so he could hang out with her.

    Coldnose !?

Coldkit was indeed around - in fact, she was actually behind her brother on the other side of the makeshift camp. So of course, there was only one thing for the small kit to do - sneak up behind Stormkit, and attempt to scare him. Stealthily (for a kit at least) the brown and silver and white molly crept forwards, before gently pouncing, aiming to pin her golden-furred brother down with a soft "Roar."

To say he was surprised was an understatement. The fluffy kit screamed with his entire lung capacity, and almost passed out from sheer fright. He really, really, really wasn't expecting that. Wide eyed and shaking slightly, the cream tabby was pinned to the ground by his sister, which he quickly realized and tried to pretend he hadn't just almost had a heart attack.

"Oh... 'sup, C-coldkit?" he said, trying to be cool but barely concealing the fright he was recovering from. He flashed a quick grin, "I really wan't uh, expecting that!" he added, laughing. He would then aim to gently roll to escape the pin and gently swat his sister's forelegs. He grinned, finding it pretty funny how he had overreacted just a moment earlier. "You got me good, sis, I will admit."

Coldkit couldn't help it - for a quick moment, her walls came crashing down and soft, feminine bubbles of laughter escaped her thought as she fell into a fit of giggles. Stormkit was funny and adorable - she'd actually genuinely scared him with her half-hearted attempt at doing so. Allowing herself to be gently rolled to the side, she'd give a small glare of indignation as he swatted her, before her features mellowed and her gaze softened. "So what did you wanna do?"

He shook out his fluffy pelt for a moment, thinking. Then he smiled, coming across a great idea.

"Let's look for some cool stuff! I was talking to an elder and he said that sometimes after a fire you can find stuff in the ashes that normally you wouldn't be able to." Stormkit said conspiratorially, a mischievous grin on his face. He knew that he'd been in trouble for sneaking out, and Coldkit had done it too, but if they went together, well that was a completely different story. Surely they'd be safer if they wandered around inside camp and maybe outside it to, if they were together, right? Strength in numbers seemed to make sense to him.
