Laurelkit hadn't really had much interaction with the former medicine cat apprentice, but she did remember that his presence brought her comfort. He and Moonwatcher had been a steady presence when she was scared of a storm, and Laurelkit had been in the medicine den frequently while Snow was absent. She hadn't really interacted with the tom while she was in there, but his mere existence within the den had been somewhat of a comfort, a reminder that she wasn't alone. Sure, Laurelkit had never lost faith in the fact that her mother would return home, but that didn't mean that she never got lonely. Asphodelpaw had helped in a distant sort of way, and now Laurelkit wanted to return the favor.
