  • TWISTEDTAIL::

    The tabby deputy prowled through the bright white of freshly fallen snow, the background muted in color and making her dark brown fur stick out like a sore thumb in contrast. The territory felt familiar and unusual all the same, and she listened carefully to the crunching of the snow with every step of her paws, noticing a moment too late as the scenery seemed to shift. The sky was blocked out by the forest surrounding her, and no stars could be found in the pitch black sky. Lifting her paw, she watched as bright crimson dripped, and looked back on bloody red pawprints behind her.

    And looking forward again, she came to face someone horribly familiar - the scarred tabby titan, Sheogorath , an unwelcome visitor to the uncolored world around them. Not a single word was said before rage filled her body, her golden eyes hot with fury and her claws unsheathing and painted the same crimson as before. And with no warning, Twistedtail lunged at the BloodClanner, claws outstretched to meet his heavily marked flesh.

    The sky was starless, a black and hungry void, and the trees that scraped its shadowy depths were twisted and gnarled and shadowed. The earth was wet and covered in oozing slime, and a low mist danced just above the damp black soil. Sheogorath watched the RiverClan deputy's approached with blistering, hellish eyes, infernal depths cutting through the darkness. He was ready for anything when she finally spotted him, his muscular structure rippling with power and he took a defensive stance. Twistedtail was a feisty feline, a cat that acted first, and spoke second. That was why he had been expecting her attack. Sheogorath darted backwards, away from the outstretched claws, his own nails flexing into the moist dirt.

    "Not a great way to greet an old clan-mate, is it?" Sheogorath uttered smoothly, a wicked smirk crossing his scarred maw. "I think I might have to teach ya some manners. As BloodClan's newest deputy, it is my job, after all." He meowed, puffing out his fluffed chest with pride. Then, it was his turn, and he lunged, flinging himself toward the RiverClanner, aiming to clamp his jaws around the base of her throat to force her to the wet ground. His claws attempted to bury themselves into her shoulders, potentially digging deep, brutal lacerations.

    Golden eyes widened as she felt the larger tom bite down on her throat, pushing her to the ground, though she was shocked he didn't immediately try to kill her. She waited for him to place his paws down before kicking up with her hind legs, hoping to fling the titan off of her using his own momentum.

    "You're no clanmate. You're only a traitor, and if I had known better back then, I would've killed you as soon as I had the chance."

    He twisted midair as he was thrown off, landing nimbly upon his large paws as Twistedtail spoke.

    "Hah, as if you'd be able to. I'm a god! No cat can kill me." Sheogorath announced with a lift of his chin and a puff of his chest. He felt strong, more so than any other. Darting forward, he aimed to lash his claws across the deputy's muzzle, a jolt of laughter shaking his scarred maw.

    The tabby quickly came to her feet, hissing as her fur stood on end.

    I'm a god! No cat can kill me.

    "Then I'll be a legend," she snarled, jumping back, the BloodClanner's claws just nicking her. Standing her ground, Twistedtail waited to see his next attack.
