  • The steps were becoming more familiar now. The feeling of leaping onto one of the large rocks in the meadow outside the village was becoming easier to handle. He was still barely more than a kid, sure, but he would do his best to rise to the responsibility thrown onto him. "We got another meeting over here, so hurry up." The boy would bark, tail curling silently over his paws. He'd arranged some of the smaller stones in this area into a fire pit similar to the ones all around the village, and had someone help him light it before he called this meeting. Now it was crackling warmly off to the side, keeping the bitter cold at bay for the most part. "Right, I'll start with welcomes to Pan and Askatla, we're all glad to have you two here." He'd begin after a few had gathered. "On that note, both Pan and Askatla can step up to Diviner. Mimzy, you can take both the ranks of Sorcerer and Apothecary or just one or the other. Farewellwishes, I know you've had some stuff going on but I'd like to see more from you in the next week. Obsidianpaw also receives a shout out. And lastly for all of this, Wenceslas has stepped down from Falcon Knight. Thank you for all of your work in that position, and I hope retirement treats you well." He was done with promotions and demotions. He only had a few more things to mention, then he could go take a nap or something. Great. I've got a few more titles to give out this week. First off, Pan receives the Bluebell title. Askatla and Obsidianpaw can take the Zinnia title. And Wenceslas the Larkspur title as thanks for his efforts as a Falcon Knight." That was all he had for the moment concerning titles. "And finally, there are currently alliance talks between Amalfi Heights and the Exiles. I'll let you know once a final decision has been reached. This whole idea may seem unorthodox to some, but at the end of the day, we have very little defense against the Toxic Accord or anyone else, for that matter." He was entirely sold on the whole idea yet, but he was considering it. "Anyway, that's all I've got to say. Feel free to speak up now if you've got anything else." He'd dip his head slightly, as a sign that he was finished and anyone else could jump in now. Then the boy would slide quietly off his rock to the ground, so he could sit beside the rock and converse with his clanmates while being sheltered from the wind as well.

✧ — WHEREVER I GO TROUBLE SEEMS TO FOLLOW / TAGS

  • TAGS - Wrapping a light blue scarf around his neck, although this was moderately hard to accomplish, Pan would bustle out into the cold and towards Lemon, who had just scrambled into his normal position amongst the rocks. Luckily someone had been kind enough to light one of the nearby fire-pits, and letting out a sigh of relief, he scrambled to sit by the source of heat, careful to not let it scorch his fur. Raising his eyes to the leader, he began to listen to their words and announcements, which fell into a familiar pattern. Newcomers, ranks, titles, and the miscellaneous. Hearing his name called out so many times was a little unsettling, with the child's heart leaping into his throat every time Lemon said it, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel proud of himself. Not only had Pan stepped up in rank, which was kind scary now that he actually thought about it, but he had also earned a title. How cool was that? Smiling in gratitude, the hare would puff up his chest- if only a little bit. "T-Thank you Mr. Lemon, a-and congratulations to e-everyone else!"

  • And it was like this. Obsidianpaw was quiet, present but not really there. She looked on with emerald green eyes only half open. Tired. She had made the mistake of staying up late last night and she was exhausted. The apprentice sent a quiet nod of congratulations to those who were promoted but beyond that the only things she payed attention to was the brief mention of her name and then the alliance with the exiles which... no... she had to have heard that wrong. She was awake now and her heart was racing. The Exiles. Where he had gone to hide. She knew that he was no longer there but they were a group that had harbored her criminal father. The very same man who tortured her. Made her kill. Made her turn on her own friends. And dare she say the girl she loved. No. No. No. No. with that she stood up and left in a hurry, not saying a word to anyone. She needed to think on this.

  • OH WHERE DO WE BEGIN —

She was late, but she was here. Settled in the front, she offered a soft smile. Hearing the promotions though, she blinked in surprise. I will do my best as both. I won't let you down! She answered nervously for once. She wanted to prove her worth. So, she was going to try two ranks on for size.
