  • The Suite

You're fresh out of high school, a starry-eyed and fresh adult who's just been accepted at a nice university. You're finally ready to leave your teenage years behind and start your life. After looking into student housing, you decided to get a suite shared between you and five other freshmen. You're all different folks, with different backgrounds, and different personalities.

This is going to be interesting.

Additionally, there's a small kitchen area attached to the living room. Bedrooms will be shared between two people (pairings will be decided in plotting/rp)

    The Suite:

    Slot 1 - Lucette Crawford

Slot 2 - Priscilla Nicolette Charbonnier

Slot 3 - Alexandria Die Blume

Slot 4 - Sawyer Andy Argyle

    Slot 5 - Pleoh Ruiz O'Neill

Slot 6 - Cleo Nellie Piper

    ✿❀Lucette Crawford❀✿

Lucette let out a sigh as she pulled up to the dorm building in her blue mini cooper, parking near the front. She stopped the car and took a moment to lean against the wheel, taking a deep breath. The girl felt deeply anxious, but there was a feeling of peace deep within her too. After all, this was her first time away from the frigid place that was her parents' home, the first time she felt at ease for quite a while. A grin spread across her face as she stepped out of the car and grabbed her stuff.

Though Lucy came from a place of wealth and had pretty much everything she wanted growing up, there wasn't too much that she wanted to take with her; After all, only half a room of the suite was going to be hers. She had two suitcases and a messenger bag, along with the trusty minifridge that'd occupied her room since middle school, currently filled with empty tupperware. Lucy threw on the messenger bag and grabbed her luggage - she would go back for the fridge after setting up for the night. She wheeled her things into the building and headed to the receptionist, grabbing her key and information.

Lucette bounced up and down on her heels as she rode up in the elevator, memorizing the other names on her information sheet, the names of her soon to be suitemates. Soon she arrived at the third floor and searched around until she found her room number. The girl fumbled with the key but eventually got the door open and stepped into the suite.

  • Alexandria stood leaning against her black 2004 Ford Mustang GT, her keys in her hand and her one suit case and a duffel bag sat on the ground at her feet. She basked I’m the fresh air, the breeze, and the freedom from her intense home. She can finally breathe without her parent’s breath running down her back 24/7.

Sure, the car was old but it got her somewhere, and it was a hand-me-down from an old friend she had known before he passed away a couple years back. It meant something to her, so she gave it a name: Nessy.

After a few minutes of relaxation, she saw the blue Mini Cooper pull up and she was brought back to reality. She pulled the duffel over her shoulder, her suitcase handle extracted and tugged in her loose palm toward the doors, following after the blonde woman she saw pull out of the Cooper. Once she received her keys from the receptionist and the list of the other suite mates and rules, she took the stairs to the suite, getting a little leg workout in, and taking a minute to glance over the paper she received before reaching her dorm room door.

Pulling the new key from her pocket, she quickly attached it to her key set and tried the door, and was unsurprisingly unlocked. The Cooper girl was inside, and she gave a short nod in greeting.

    “Hey.”

  • ✦✦✦ Pleoh had honestly spent most of their day driving. Partially because they lived— or, used to live— a little ways away from the suite...and they had to keep stopping to pick up things they realized they had forgotten, or things that maybe could be important, if their other housemates had forgotten them. Just things like plates, silverware, blankets...all the good shit.

They didn't bother to carry all this in at once though, luckily lacking the 'one trip or no trip' mentality. So as soon as they pulled in, they just grabbed their bag of essentials, and made their way into the building, to the receptionist. Who helpfully informed them that two of their housemates had already checked in.

Pleoh reluctantly took the elevator, fidgeting with their phone, or bouncing on their toes as they impatiently waited to reach their floor. They wondered over the people who they'd be living with. If they were lucky, maybe they wouldn't be stacked in with a bunch of assholes...if they were unlucky however? That could be fine. They could be an asshole too, and it wasn't like they didn't have experience living with five too many people.

As soon as the doors opened, they were gone, briskly walking down the hallway and reaching the room just in time to catch the door before it closed behind a copperheaded girl who they assumed was one of their roommates, as well as the blonde further in. Well..obviously. Who else would be in their room? "Hey, cool!" they grinned, leaning against the doorway as they took in the occupants of the room, as well as the room itself, but it was fairly barren right now, and so didn't interest them as much "Looks like we're all getting here at once then. 's that crazy or what? Could be a good crazy though." again, if they were lucky.

A dorm building was only so big. There were only so many floors and so many rooms, not to mention the people sitting outside each building to give the new students their room assignments and a list of their roommates. So, finding your room should be easy, right?

    Wrong.

Andy had gotten to the suite at, what she could only describe as, the most unholy of hours. The sky was still a powdery pale blue when she first got there, the birds still silent in their rest.

    Lucky bastards.

Meanwhile, she sat in an Uber, hands clutching a steaming cup of hot-chocolate and eyes drooping heavily and lazily, threatening to close before her Uber driver turned and looked over his shoulder, snapping his fingers and she jumped heavily, a few droplets of the piping hot drink splashing onto her hands and legs.

"This isn't a bus, sweetheart. Get up and get gone."

When she was finished patting her singed skin, Andy looked up at him, eyes squinted and lips tight. The intimidation effect wasn't as effective as she had hoped, hair ruffled and poofed, eyes dark and thick sweater bundling up around her arms. She mumbled an insult, clambering out of the back of the car and watching it speed off with a loud screech.

Around four hours later, and Andy was still wandering around the outside of the suite, now slightly more awake, but far more irritable and a million times more confused. Even with the directions printed out on the paper in her hands, she still couldn't find her suite for the life of her. A few of cars pulled up in moderate succession, each flawless driver climbing out in all of their glory. Even from this distance, it was like Sawyer could see the sparkles flinging off of them as they stepped and could smell the lavender hand lotion that was undoubtedly smeared on each of their perfect hands.

Man, she wished she were them. Especially since they didn't seem nearly as directionally challenged as herself. They would surely know where her suite is. So, she followed.

The trio disappeared just as soon as they appeared and Sawyer spent a good half hour knocking on several doors on the second floor, trying to figure out which one was her's. It was then that someone directed that she was a floor off and she made her way up, only to find the door open and a few low voices flowing from inside. Peeking around the corner, she watched the three make themselves at home and somewhat start introductions. "Woah. Is this the right room? I thought this was a suite for students, not a suite for professional models." She flashed an over-exaggerated wink and then her face turned serious, holding up the paper. "No but really, is this the right room? I've been here for hours and if I walk into another room with a group of stoned dudes playing video games shirtless, I might scream." Her gaze flickered between the group, eyes wide and slightly panicked.

    you move me, baby

  • ✦✦✦ Pleoh startled as she wandered up behind them, but gladly flashed her a wide grin, stepping off to the side so that they weren't blocking the door, choosing to lean against the wall instead, and the brunette took a moment to chuckle a little at her introduction. This could be someone they make friends with "eheh- I don't know who you're callin' a model, 'cause you look pretty cute yourself." they giggled again and shook their head, gently reaching for her paper so that they could see the room number "Hmhm- Ah, yeah. This is your stop hon, welcome to the room of professional models." They passed her paper back, and made a wide gesture to encompass the entire room, bag hanging from their left hand. This wasn't a show they were putting on for introductions, they were honestly just a jovial person in general, sporting an ever-present smile and possibly the strangest mish-mash of personality traits one could collect "And uh- Please don't scream. I'm calling dibs on being the loud one, 'kay?"

DONT THINK I DON'T KNOW SYMPATHY

  • Upon the two newcomer’s walking in, her resting face caved inward into a small frown. Lex really wished she had chosen a dorm with less people, but this was all they had available and she took what she could.

Alexandria looked and analyzed the two others who walked in, ignoring the flirty blonde’s supermodel comment and shifting the duffel on her shoulder so it felt more comfortable.

With how the two converse, she could already predict the immense headaches and frustration she would have with her roommates. She preferred peace, silence. It helped her think, concentrate. However, looking at the three rooms and seeing two beds in each she hoped she was not booked with either of the two newcomers.

  • priscilla nicolette charbonnier ---

--- sharing a suite with five other people was not what priscilla wanted, but it was the only way her parent would pay for her to go to university in america. her parents had allowed prissy to ride in the private jet for the eight hour trip, her mother saying that flying first class on a regular flight was 'too stuffy'. not that it matter much to prissy, she would take whatever she could. her parents weren't exactly thrilled when she said she wanted to study abroad, especially in america, but they never really did care too much what the youngest charbonnier child did, all their attention was focused on prissy's two older sisters.

upon her arrival, prissy had been cursed with a bmw m5 g-power hurricane rrs from a dealership who had given her parents some special offer. prissy hated the car, she would have chosen a much older, more run-down car, just to spite her parents. the brunette arrive at the suite later than she would have liked to, she usually stuck to a strict schedule when it came to all things, even eating. she had more bags than she needed, admittedly, four bags two full of clothes, one of her hair and make-up things, and another full of miscellaneous items.

parking her car, she pulled her bags from the trunk. she was sad she couldn't bring her puppy, madam wigglebottom, named from the fact that when she wagged her tail, her whole butt moved. pulled two of the duffel bags over her shoulders, she grabbed the other two in each hand and made way inside. it didn't take her long to locate her room and when she stepped inside, she found four others inside. the only sign of her surprise was a minuscule raise of her left eyebrow. they were all beautiful people, she had to admit. she walked in just in time to catch one of the girl's question of sharing rooms.

"if there's an option of not sharing, i'll take it," prissy mumbled, closing the door behind her.

Okay, so this happens a lot, but Cleo really didn't mean to be this late. Melisa and Amanda had made sure that she had gotten up earlier and in the car with all of her stuff. After that was accomplished and somehow managing to sleep the entire ride, a bout of excitement rushed over her and she knew she just had to get some pictures before meeting her new roommates. So she wandered off and took some pictures, but of course managed to get lost.

Cleo considered herself smart but not in the remembering directions way. To her luck though, there happened to be a cafe near where she was. Stepping inside, she noticed the delicious smell of coffee. Ew, while it did smell great, it sure didn't taste it. More of a tea girl, she ordered a green tea and started a conversation with the older woman behind the bar. Turns out she was the owner and that an employee had just quit, which is why she was there. The woman, who insisted being called Miss Tullie, told her to come in tomorrow if she wanted a job. Thanking her for the offer and the directions to the suite, she raised her hand in goodbye and as soon as she stepped out of there, took off in a sprint. She cursed to herself, because she knew her roommates were probably already there. The suite, which had just been down the road to her dismay, appeared into view.

When Cleo got there, she went to the receptionist and got her belongings, which included her bags that she had forgotten in all of her excitement. Picking those up and noticing the elevator in use, she jogged up the stairs two at a time. At this point she had no idea why she was punishing herself with all of this exercise. Finally getting up to the floor, she saw another person on the floor that seemed to be heading to the same room.

Cleo took off into an excited jog towards the person. "Hey" she tries to say, right before the door shuts in her face. Slapping her hands against her head, she raises her fist in an act of anger at the world, before knocking on the door.

"Woah- yowzah." Pleoh mumbled, a bit warily. Not that they didn't like company, but there were quite a few people entering at once, and the lady who had just came in seemed like a very 'no-nonsense' kinda gal...in other words, not a person who was safe to hang out with, for them, but it wasn't like they had any sort of self preservation anyway, so they offered her a grin as well "Well I don't really think that's an option what with how many people we've go on here and– what? Three rooms, two beds each?" they shrugged, smiling, and gently nudged her shoulder in what they thought would be a friendly mannar "we're packed– oh? Whoop" they glanced past her as they heard the knock on the door and quickly reached around, pushing it open for the poor soul on the other side "oh hey! We've got more now! That's six right? I think that's six." they didn't care enough to count

    ✿❀Lucette Crawford❀✿

A grin spread across Lucette's face as she watched the group slowly march in until all six of the new suitemates had arrived, the entrance becoming stuffed with people and suitcases. She leaned back against the wall behind her, shifting the strap around her shoulder that was growing more and more uncomfortable. Slowly, Lucy scanned over the faces of the people, trying to get a read on their personalities and memorize the make of them.

With a small roll of the eyes, Lucette moved her weight back to the balls of her feet as the question of roommates hung in the air - she didn't know any of these people beyond a greeting, and certainly wasn't picking someone to spend the year with now. "As intriguing as this discussion is," she said, "this hall's starting to get a bit crowded, and I'd really like to get these suitcases out of the way." The girl set down one of her bags and pointed a finger at the three doors in front of her. "Eeney, meeney, miney... you." Her gaze settled on the first door, and she gently opened the thing, gathering her things again and stepping into the bedroom.

It was small, but no smaller than she expected, barren and awaiting someone new to fill in the details. Through a quick evaluation Lucy picked the bed closest to the window and set her things down beside it. She plopped down on her bed, quickly trying to picture what she'd do with her half of the room. The girl rose back to her feet with a wide grin spread across her face and headed back to the doorway to explore the rest of the suite.

  • tumblr_inline_nsrkerb8EZ1qlt39u_500.gif

Sawyer practically beamed at the matched energy Pleoh displayed, her satisfaction evident in the childish grin spreading across her face. The crowded space seemed not to bother her as Cleo slipped in the spot to join the posse, Andy holding up a hand in a wave and cutting her gaze to Priscilla and Lex, a look of mild shock holding her mouth agape. "Oh you guys are no fun. We're gonna be living together for a year. We're gonna get a lot closer than this! We gotta bond!" Her statement was cut off as Lucette chose to make her departure, choosing the closest room and dragging her bags inside. Andy threw her hands up, watching the blonde go like a puppy watching its owner leave. That was fair.

She sighed inwardly, haphazardly picking up her bags in a messy bundle and waddling away from the door. "I call the furthest room! Furthest rooms are always the coolest, especially since I'm in it!" As soon as she entered the threshold, she tossed her belongings onto the corner bed, the headboard banging against the windowsill loudly. It was bland. No sheets on the naked mattress and the walls plain and barren. That'd soon change. If there was once thing Andy was good at, it was making herself at home. Plenty of her friends had told her that before. This would be no different.

Her bags were sloppily packed, the zippers practically popping open as it was overstuffed with random items. Some had clothes. The biggest had paint supplies. And the smallest had things for school. Books, loose-leaf paper and binders. Y'know, things that a typical student would need.

She grabbed that one and stuffed it under the desk before beginning a very slow and meaningless unpacking mission, frequently stopping to step outside the room and mill around or sit on the bed and doodle, essentially anything other than getting her things put away.

  • Lex watched as the two made way to opposite rooms, the middle room still barren and empty. She began to ponder, as she had to deal with these people for the rest of the year. The annoying blonde was right, she’d have to have some form of interaction with each of them eventually.

Her options were clear that moment: go with the annoying blonde (which was quickly fading to a negative at that point), the other blonde who seemed nice, or risk the middle and see which one of the other three would roam into that room with her. She hoped it would be the one who suggested no sharing, Priscilla she assumed. Lex would have no problem staying with her. As long as they both had the same mindset of avoidance, she’d be set.

Lex shifted the duffel, tucked a stray copper strand behind her ear and went to the middle door, taking the left bed and putting her duffel on top and the suitcase laid on its side next to it. From there she began unpacking from the suitcase, neat clothes folded and placed organized in the drawers and shirts placed neatly below the clothing rack. She’d have to buy hangers later, but for now that’d make due. She pulled white sheets from her suitcase, the last thing, and made her bed. Lex had left her feather comforter and two pillows in her car and she’d have to retrieve them later.

Shoving the empty suitcase beneath her bed, she emptied the duffel. Placing a nice computer on the desk, a couple chargers and a mouse, pulled out three large textbooks and placed them on the desk, and left other personal items in the duffel before shoving that as well beneath the bed. She then stretched, her arms popping and she groaned with relief from the long ride and the stress of having to share with five other people.

Cleo was sure there was an abnormal amount of red on her face. After the door had opened she made sure to thank the person that had opened it and set her stuff down, which was apparently useless because everyone started picking their rooms and she was not about to let this opportunity go to waste.

Being a light sleeper, she knew there was no way she would be taking the room nearest to the living room and even though the girl had waved and seemed enthusiastic (Okay and she was really, really pretty too); she just couldn't afford to not get her beauty sleep. The middle room was tempting seeing as it had equal access, but the girl that went in it looked kind of scary and hadn't made a pleased face when seeing her so she quickly tossed that one out the window. So nearest room it was.

The blonde girl, who had already come out after setting her stuff down, was going to be her new roommate. Terrifying honestly. Sure, Cleo was good at befriending people and all that, but this was a year long thing and what if she didn't make the right first impression? Then everything would be ruined and she would hate it here.

Getting out of that funk, she stepped into her room and put her stuff down on the floor beside the unclaimed bed. She laid on the bed and sighed after noticing of the lack of bedding but ignoring it. It was something she would be forced to take out before long. There was so much to unpack and so much she didn't feel like doing and she knew a reason to not do it. Stepping out of the room, she headed towards the living room, where she predicted everyone would be after they got their stuff put away. She took a seat on the couch in front of the window and pulled out her phone to wait for everyone else.

  • ✦✦✦ Pleoh just watched blithely as everyone picked their shit up and starting calling dibs on their rooms. First the blond, who they assumed had also been the first to come in, and then next was the person who they decided they had to be friends with. So, obviously, Pleoh knew which room they were going to pick "I call the furthest room as well!" They grinned at the other occupants and hoisted their bag over their shoulder, skipping down to the proper door before anyone could argue. Not that they thought anyone might...but just in case. They would prefer to room with whoever the loud and good humored girl was, rather than all these other grumpy supermodels. Even if they were secretly softies, getting the soft part to show would take effort. Effort that Pleoh didn't really care to pt in right now. So Friendly Ginger it was!

Once they entered, they set their bag down on the only other free bed, already humming a tune to themself, they didn't bother to unpack, and simply left the room again, leaving their roommate to do whatever. It didn't really look like she was unpacking, but that was her business, Pleoh was just happy to have something to do. They spent the next few minutes retrieving the rest of their bags...Which meant hurrying down the stairs— The elevator was very much In Use, other students had finally started to look for their suites— then making their way back to their car, and back up the stairs with all their bags, while navigating through other students. who also had bags. Needless to say, they were immensely relieved when they made it back to their own suite, and had spend the short but harrowing trip wondering: 'What the hell possessed me to leave my bags in the first place??'

Either way, they were now able to go about unpacking. finally. They dropped one bag off on the counter in the kitchenette— This was the one they had packed full of Miscellaneous but Important supplies: dishes, silverware, some basic cleaning supplies, the like. The rest of their bags made it the rest of the way to their shared room, and they gladly spent the better part of an hour unpacking, organizing, putting things away and making their bed. By the time they finished, they could've almost been tired! Except they weren't, and so made their way into the living-room with everyone else who had finished setting their stuff up "So, What now!?" They spread their arms wide and glanced around the room, a lopsided grin stuck on their face "Personally, I'll have to admit, I don't know any of your names- Well. I do, They're on the sheet and everything, but they didn't bother to put your faces next to them... so I'm struggling."

    ✿❀Lucette Crawford❀✿

Lucy quickly explored the suite, trying to adjust herself to the size of the place; The girl shuddered at the thought of sharing such a small bathroom, between six people no less. She got her bearings, though, and considered that a success, deciding to bring her exploration to a close and make the short trip back to the living room. She sat down on the unoccupied couch, stretching her legs along the seat and leaning her back on the arm. Lucy mirrored the other girl in the room, pulling out her phone and scrolling through the notifications.

Her groupchat of cheer friends was already overflowing with messages, all of them talking about their first days and moving in. All of the highschool gals had ended up going to different universities, so they clung to the one way of communication they had, all terrified of losing touch with each other like they said they never would. She sent a quick update to the crew and a consolation text to her parents as well, though she knew they wouldn't be worried.

Her gaze was brought up and towards the entrance as the hyper person from earlier stepped in. A soft smile appeared on her face as she listened to them. They spoke in a way that she found charming, at least for now, and she hoped it would stay that way. "Lucette," she answered with a grin. She tried to take a warmer tone and not sound so bitchy, and she could only hope she succeeded. "You can call me Lucy. And you guys are?"

When Andy exited the room momentarily, just barely catching the intimidating brunette slink into the vacant middle room, her mouth opened in mock offense, letting out a scoff to make it clear. Fine. It's not like she wanted to stare at her sculpted, stoic, alluring face...

Sawyer physically shook her head, a tight frown pulling at her brows, the pain only growing on her face as the second brunette, the one that came in late - she fought the onslaught of bitter compliments pushing to the forefront of her mind - went into the first room with the intimidating blonde.

Too many intimidating types. She'd have to fix that.

"I won't take it personally that neither of you chose the coolest room." She called from the end of the "hall", gesturing towards her still open door.

She threw up her hands, however, as Pleoh declared their choice, making their way into room number three.

"Yes! Party room!" She whooped, completely satisfied. The only other person that hadn't chosen their room was the third brunette, whom Andy would refer to as 'sunshine' for now.

    Because honestly.

    How fitting right?

There was a long moment when everyone was still unpacking, the sound of muffled shuffling and drawers closing, closets opening and closing - typical moving sounds when none of the roommates actually knew each other before she joined the intimidating blonde in the living room as well. She watched her briefly, the way her phone seemed to be bursting with messages and she checked her own phone.

11 missed calls from her mother and a few messages in a group chat of her own highschool squadron.

She scanned through it quickly, eyes taking in all the crude doodles and emojis, very few words scattered in between screenshots and gifs and she locked her phone again, stuffing it into her pocket as names began to be shared.

Andy grinned - introductions were one of her favorites. She briefly debated how to approach the situation, letting out a puff of dissatisfaction as she chose the 'mature' route.

"Sawyer but everyone calls me Andy." She threw up a hand in a fluttery wave, lounging lazily over the arm of the couch while her top half hung over the edge, threatening to tip her entire body onto the floor.

  • Lex was tempted to just ignore everyone and go to the store and get whatever necessities she needed but couldn’t bring, ultimately avoiding her entire suite mates for a good hour. However, she decided against it, for now at least.

Exiting the room, she internally cheered at the prospect that Priscilla would ultimately be roomed with her. Sweet, sweet silence. And maybe violent banter. Or worst.

Lex looked at Pleoh with an analyzing gaze, crossing her arms above her chest and leaning back against the doorframe of her room.

“Alexandria.” She introduced, pulling her phone out of her pocket and seeing a dry phone. Not that it mattered to her. She stuffed it back in her pocket and rubbed her forehead. (Oof)

  • ✦✦✦ Pleoh smiled widely at the three who had introduced themselves, gaze shifting over each as they addressed their new suite-mates in turn "'Not-as-grouchy-as-I-originally-thought' supermodel is Lucy. Great good to know, nice to meet you I like your hair— And my roomie is Andy!! Hi~!" they sang, tilting their head and returning her wave with a little flourish "And the actual grumpy supermodel is Alexandria! I like your hair too actually. Everyone here has nice hair except me, which is just unfair." They didn't seem too bothered by this, however, and quickly continued to their own introduction before they could worry to much about how, exactly, they should go about that. First impressions are everything, after all.

"I'm Pleoh! You can call me Pleoh I don't really have any other names anymore which is nice." they chuckled a little, more of a hum really, then pointed towards the kitchen "I've also brought plates and stuff because I didn't know if anyone else brought plates and stuff. Or if we even needed that but it seemed like a good idea at the time, you're welcome." that came out a little pushier than they would've liked but..ah, well. Too late to take it back now, they'd just suffer the consequences.

Fortunately, though, it seemed like they'd like everyone here. At least the few actually grouchy people seemed more like they just wanted to hide away, instead of seeming like they were out to get everyone. Pleoh could respect that, they knew they were a bit much, but another reason to room.with the only other person who was 'a bit much'.

As everyone filled the room, Cleo sat up and put her phone beside her. This was the moment of truth honestly. The moment that would decide if her roommates liked her or not. I mean yeah sure, it could change after this, because she was a bit forgetful and whatnot but whatever. First interactions were always the starting point and would always be remembered!

Trying to not show how nervous she was, she kept her hands in her lap and had a slight (but awkward of course) smile on her face as the rest of them introduced themselves. The one she was sharing the room with was named Lucy. She seemed okay and nice, which was great. Ahh looks like it was her turn. Putting a little more care into her smile, she said," My name is Cleo, but you can call me that or Nellie or Piper. I was blessed with having a ton of first names." Of course her natural charisma decided to kick in there and she just had to turn her smile into a smirk and say," It's nice to meet all of you. I'm very excited to be living here with such a stunning group." That wasn't even charisma that was her inner hoe. She mentally face palmed.
