Frozen in Time

IC: Joey groaned as he sat up weakly and looked around him, but found himself not staring at his family members or anything, but rather at a bunch of scientists

“WHA-?!” He nearly fell backwards in surprise and realizing he had woken up from a cryostasis chamber. “Mom?! Dad?! Crystal?! Uncle Sonic?!” Joey worriedly looked around, not knowing that it was so far in the future that all of his family was dead, as some scientists were trying to calm him

OOC: after being sealed in a cryistasis chamber, Joey has been asleep and frozen for 1000 years and is now in the future, seeing everything that there was to offer while also not trying to draw too much attention to himself (being who he was, the son of the Legendary Hero Mario and the last surviving human that doesn’t live in New Donk City in his world)

“W-where am I?! Who are you people?!”

“How do you know my name?! Where’s mom and dad and everyone else?!” It seems Joey couldn’t calm down, overwhelmed

Joey’s breathing became shaky, before eventually he calmed down

“Tempuras Project...? What’s that?”

“Wh-why would you do that...? And how on earth did we ever agree to that..?”

“Ok, But... where is everyone else then?”

Joey slowly nodded

Ya can’t just let us go, can ya? He thought, sweatdropping

“So... what do I do in the meantime...?”

He nodded, then started wobbling until he found his footing again, walking out of the room

“So...” one scientists said to the main one (the one who had been talking to Joey) “When are you going to tell him that what you just said is a load of bS?”
