//this is just Jynx stirring up trouble :3

Jynx giggled like a child as she ran and hid under a heather bush. She'd left dead rabbits, stuffed with crow-food, all through the territory. She couldn't wait until those WindClanners found them! Stupid rabbit-chasers will have fun getting that stench out of their fur... The bush caught a few chunks of glossy black fur, but she didn't care. They'd figure out who did it soon enough.

Leafbare hadn't arrived quite yet, but it was coming. JasperStar was glad to see that their territory wasn't bare and empty for the most part, they should have enough prey to last the winter if they played their cards right. The bengal padded across the moors, narrowing his eyes at the lumps in the grass. What... JasperStar treaded closer, letting out a hiss of surprise when he saw what they were. Some cat had left dead rabbits scattered across the moor; not only that, but they were full of crowfoot upon further inspection, tainted and inedible. JasperStar felt the fury rise within him, and he began to search the area, seething, intent on figuring out who'd done this. Passing by a gorse bush, he saw some fur had been caught in it's branches. One sniff let him know that no cat of his clan, or any other forest clan, had done this. BloodClan. For one moment, the tom was too livid to think or speak. BloodClan, their supposed allies, had invaded his territory, killed their much needed rabbits, stuffed them with rotten food, and left the remains all over the moor. It was a waste, this close to leaf bare, and an insolent move on their ally's part. It's as if we weren't at peace at all. Realizing how quickly his temper was a escaping him, JasperStar shut his eyes, blocking out the gore before him. Things have happened before without Caledon's knowledge. If JasperStar talked to him and there was a misunderstanding, then fine. If this had been done on purpose, and with no repercussions, there would be problems.

  • ivynose was the next to arrive, after jasperstar. his eyes widened slightly upon seeing all of the dead rabbits; for a second, he actually didn't find this suspicious at all. it was only when he crept closer, seafoam green eyes glittering curiously, that he was able to scent the crowfood stuffed into each carcass. nose wrinkling with disgust, the warrior recoiled slightly, feeling the want to vomit rise up in him. now all of this was completely inedible- destroyed and rotting - they could've used it! taking in a deep breath, he approached jasperstar slowly, the other having been smelling some tufts of fur that'd caught onto the heather bush where the perpetrator had (assumingly) been hiding away until they'd taken their leave.

waiting until the leader had pulled away from the fur, ivynose hesitantly leaned forward to sniff at them. a frown came to his face, raising his head to look at jasperstar with surprise and confusion. "bloodclan?" he questioned, looking between the tufts and jasperstar. "i thought they were our allies." he commented slowly.

At Ivynose's appearance and comments, JasperStar nodded stiffly. "I thought so too." He meowed, unable to keep a snarl from his voice. Pausing another moment, he added, "I'm going to talk to Caledon. These incidents have happened before, he may not know about it." But JasperStar was tired of these things happening. Jaguarkit being attacked, Pistachio's assassination attempt on him, and now this. It needed to stop, and soon, most of WindClan already disliked BloodClan, JasperStar knew he couldn't justify staying allies with a clan that treated them like this.

  • Cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream —

Jynx was slowly creeping through the bushes, trying to make as little noise as possible as she made her way to the edge of BloodClan's territory. She knew her fur would be found, but it wasn't like someone would actually know it was her. There were plenty of black-furred BloodClanners.

Satisfied with her own mental answer, she crossed the border back into the city. Too bad I didn't stay around and watch the rabbit-chasers' faces...

  • ivynose couldn't help but feel a little bit of suspicion about all of this: surely all that'd happened couldn't be completely behind caledon's back, the bloodclan leader must've heard wind of it at some point, wouldn't he have? if this was a surprise to him, ivynose would declare himself impressed that all of the bloodclanners could keep this under wraps. "jasperstar," he hummed, glancing around at the inedible rabbit carcasses that surrounded him and the leader, "would you want company when you visit caledon? i'd be happy to come along with you, just to make sure that nothing happens, right?" truthfully, he was just a little curious as to what caledon could say about all of this, even if the leader would just claim that he had no idea about any of it.

  • "I'll be coming too - this is unacceptable." Eaglespirit said, coming up to the others, a look of pure disgust on his face at the absolute slight that the city cats did to them. He did spare a glace to Jasperstar to see how he was responding, how this was just confirming Eaglespirit's notice that Bloodclan was not allies to trust or keep. But he would not bring that up, he'd just stay quiet on that front and see what the bengal would do.

At Ivynose's offer, the leader nodded. "Yes, I think that would be a good idea." Eaglespirit arrived next, stating that he would come as well, and JasperStar thought he'd do well in bringing these two warriors. Ivynose, level-headed and not so aggressive most of the time, and Eaglespirit, a cat he'd known since him and his brother had been young, and his only current senior warrior. "Alright, a patrol of us three, then. Let's clean this up except for one, we'll take it and the fur with us for proof." He meowed, and began scraping away earth to burry the fouled prey so no other creature, feline or others, consumed it and became ill.
