  • ☾ GREETINGS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY SWEET GOODBYES, YES ALL MUST MEET IT'S END

Many things had taken place in Elias' absence from the place that he had once, originally, called his own home. Things had changed beyond recognition, that was for sure, but it was undeniably home sweet home even if he believed that he would never be able to receive the same comfort that he had felt once upon a time when he was a young child residing with his mothers and siblings. Then again, he was not the same young boy that he used to be. Elias had grown up now, that was for sure. He had moulded from curious, bouncy little Elias into curious, bouncy, big Suncity. In complete honestly, not much had changed for the lion-wolf hybrid both in regards to temperament as well as appearance. When considering his looks, the most that had truly developed apart from the size of his body was the mane circling his throat like a puffed out solar flare of a noose. Although most things had stayed the same with minor adjustments in the boy- man, the only thing that had really and truly remained as a constant about him was the deep desire to see his mother at least one more time.

He had missed his mama. A lot.

Sunci did not even know if she was about and really he had been under the impression that she had left for good which would not have surprised him. Leaving her alone for so long, it was completely unforgivable of him and he was well aware of that so the idea that she could possibly see him once more, the thought of her staring at him with piercing eyes that were real and there in a form that he could reach out and touch, it honestly scared him. Guilt clung to him like smoke whenever he even considered what he had done. Worthless son was fitting for him and there would be no shock to be found in the details of his countenance if he were to be shunned by those that now lived in his home as his replacements that had slotted themselves well into the small Elias shaped hole that he had left behind. Part of him wanted those that he had once loved to hate him because no matter what he tried to do, he had still abandoned his family. It's that weight that causes his reluctance, large paws resting just on the edge of the borders as he finds himself battling with the idea that he is no longer wanted. Still, large maw parts like the red sea to call out to the rolling lands that he is so unfamiliar with in a manner that near entirely glosses over any and all hesitance that he holds in his blackened heart of gold.

"Hej, hello!" sounds friendly tones from cheery lips as the stray swedish greeting blossoms as a foreign flower on his tongue, the hybrid wearing his best impression of happiness against the blank canvas of his visage. "I'm Suncity, an old member just here to visit if that's not a problem."

    people leave.

this isn't news to her, none the shocking to raise head and see numbers dwindle, friends and family near and dear gone without a trace, maybe even without a goodbye. she's nearly accepting of it by now, creature so used to milling farewells upon lips they come as easy as each passing breath. it's natural, normal.

the woman has fallen back into the lulling pattern of solo patrols, ever more reliant on them since the explosive fall out between she and dearly beloved. it frustrates her to think about it, taunting, taunting, and even here under beat of sun and above away of meadow grass her thoughts curve toward it. what was the deal there, anyway? she's not the least bit sure, still trying to wrapping her head around it when call takes to wind.

a hello, a name, and a voice that rings familiar, familiar but only just so, like its been carried over ocean after ocean to reach her. she takes one stride, two, three, finds herself facing a ghost of past. sweet summer child, grown up but still recognisable and chica forgets troubles fleetingly. forgets and freezes, blinking round lilac eyes. he declares himself as suncity but she, she knows him as, "elias?" comes soft whisper, head tilting his way as eyes stray, study form and figure. "yer alive?"
