Another stop on his aimless journey to nowhere, he stumbled upon a mighty spectacle of earth and air colliding. Zhivko settled a contemplative gaze upon the islands in the sky, the cobblestone staircase leading up and up and up. It took no more than a gentle hum of consideration for him to summit the steps and retreat to the plush grass of the border, basking in the cool summer evening as the sun dipped beyond a purple-pink horizon. He was ever patient, waiting on acknowledgement.

  • //welcome to bc! just wanted to let you know that we don't have a staircase anymore. instead, we have floating boats! if you're curious about the territory, here's the codex entry: Floating Archipelago

It seemed that the influx of new arrivals had not quite slowed, and he wasn't certain whether to be grateful or disgruntled. New faces had the potential for contribution -and many of them certainly did carry more than their weight- but with the disappearances and deaths on their territory, alongside the tumultuous state of their alliances, Narukami could not help his suspicion. Their supposed adversaries had yet to act, and he was growing antsy- not with anticipation, but with concern that they were planning something nefarious. He even considered they could be sending spies into BlizzardClan, to attack them from several fronts when a battle did occur, but the hybrid did not voice his worries yet, on the chance that there could be spies. He had much to carry as of late, and though he was not hostile toward the stranger, he had a cold countenance, white gaze flat as it rested on BlizzardClan's visitor.

"Have you come to BlizzardClan to join, or have you other business?"

//oh! thank you for the update!! :^)

There was one thing that he found to be true among the clansfolk of Agrelos, and it was punctuality. He had to wait no more than a few moments, a calm wait along the serene view of the floating island and its mystical scenery, before the curious face presented itself to him in questioning. It was a blank creature, maw twisted into a thin line of indifference; or perhaps distaste. A gentle smile curled upon his own face, ruby gaze flitting and lively as two cool, crystalline pools.

“Not quite sure, big guy,” Zhivko admitted, an air of similar nonchalance around him. His gaze steadied over Narukami’s shoulder, whiskers twitching in thought. “How kind are you folk to travelers?” he asked lightly, speaking through a thick brogue.

Another newcomer. Today seemed busy. Aurelio approached Narukami and the newcomer, interested. Travelers? Aurelio knew that the clan would take kindly to anyone, as long as they weren't dangerous or mean. "As long as you follow our rules and don't hurt anyone, we're very kind." The child spoke up, flicking his glittering tail as he examined the other. They were interesting, in a way, as most newcomers were. Aurelio always felt uninteresting after meeting someone new, and the stranger was no exception. "I'm Aurelio. What's your name?"

  • //no problem!! c:

Narukami's sharp gaze narrowed, not especially fond of the smile the feline wore; it was not hostile or so obviously insincere as to be offending, but there was an oiliness about this stranger that left him a bit more agitated than he wanted to be. It was entirely possible that was simply the result of his conflicting natures, as he had been exhibiting...issues with reconciling his reasonable mind with the incredibly possessive and suspicious personality of his extended self. It was unpleasant, nonetheless, to see the smile, and the scales below his eyes momentarily flashed a deep alizarin before Narukami forcibly pulled himself together. It was absurdly difficult to resist the urge to sneer and turn on his heel, away from this creature. "Hospitable," he said shortly, just before Aurelio offered something a bit warmer, a better welcoming party than the hybrid.

For the time being, he refrained from introducing himself.

Right on the mark. The visage of the mighty brute crumbled, a gentle crack in porcelain exterior just hairline enough to cause a flare in his dragon-like complexion; all it took was a gentle prod, a well placed smile and tilt of his red eyes. Amusement lifted his wild features in the form of a blink and flick of his ear, then his eyes turned toward the glitzy child and his demeanor ultimately changed. Civility and warmth, a more honest smile. “Sounds easy enough, kid,” the hybrid said to the creature that looked like the sun itself. “Call me Zhivko.”

Such was the end of his introduction, ruby gaze returning to Narukami as if searching for a name.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — It seemed as though another joiner was at their border. It wasn't an unusual occurrence though. There were quite a few joiners popping up every now and then. This stranger though reminded her too much of someone else. Someone she wished to forget.

"Welcome to BlizzardClan, Zhivo. My name is Ella," she said properly introducing herself to the other. As she took a seat next to Aurelio she kept note of his behavior. Though she had bad experiences with others like him she tried to ignore it. The feline didn't want to assume anything quite yet as this was only their first encounter.

"Would you like a tour by chance?" the femme questioned politely as she looked at the red eyed male.

So many joiners recently.. it was nice, but it was hard to remember all their names. And if she did remember the name, then it was a question of if she'd be successful remembering the face.

The saber silently approaches with a curious head tilt. Zhivo. An interesting name for an interesting looking guy. "You're probably sick of hearing this already, but welcome. My name is Kady." She doesn't provide any other information because there was no reason to. Everyone else already seemed to cover everything.

The wildcat creature turned his attention toward new faces and voices as they came to regard him, another pensive look crossing over his face before he decidedly acted in response. Amusement once again tilted at the corners of his eyes, mouth quirking slightly at the clumsy rendition of his name. Not that he could blame them; he was incredibly foreign. Nonetheless, Zhivko offered a flash of his fangs in the form of a well-rehearsed smile to the new duo. “It’s a pleasure,” he all but echoed, flicking a grayish ear. “I’m in no need of a tour. Just point me in the right direction and I’ll be on my way.”

  • hole in my soul, don't know how to fill it up

Aleksei was another someone pleased by the influx of newcomers to BlizzardClan. Zhivko seemed like an amusing fellow and Aleksei wondered what he would see of the wildcat in the future here.

"Welcome, Zhivko," he offered. The name was certainly strange on the tongue, but, then again, he'd grown up with a brother named Mieczyslaw. "You can take the stone boats to the main island and our home should be easy to find from there."

    // welcome!
