  • 「I must be dreaming — cause I don't believe in ghosts

It had been a day since the deputy had given Aug a task. Something that would force the tabby to stop sulking in the shadows and make himself known. The best thing to do now was to get a few cats to join, as that would make catching prey easier. "Is there anyone willing to go on a hunting patrol to the junkyard? I'm sure we need more prey with the chilling winds"This would give Augustine a chancde to befrienda few cats, give him someone to talk to on the longer days. Maybe they would even get him to open up more, and begin to trust all of bloodclan.

"I'd like to have at least two cats before I go"For once his voice wasn't stuttered, giving Aug a chance to seem normal. This is what he wished to happen, forget the terrible past and move on with this one.

  • —— Ever since their move, Augustine had made himself scarce. Ruth didn't blame him. The mental and emotional wounds left by their former groupmates had affected him more than her. The she-cat was always glad to see him trying, though. Today was one of those days where he dared to show his face. To Ruth's surprise, he was taking out a hunting patrol. Happy to see her brother, the young she-cat bounded over with a cheery expression on her face.

"I'll come with you, Aug," she purred as she greeted her brother by pressing her nose to his shoulder and bumping her body against his playfully. She stood beside him, waiting on a few others to join them.

  • Mary did not know of Ruth and her kin’s history but by their scars and somewhat mental instability she could only imagine something negative. The spawn of Sheogorath had too been part of a rogue group far more chaotic than Bloodclan for many moons. Sleeping among murders and rapists wasn’t the best of times but she had managed to survive and return to Bloodclan - after being exiled of course. She hadn’t revealed that to anybody however, despite her father prodding at the subject at least once. Tearing her mind from the dark history, she would be the next to approach Augustine at the sound of a forming hunting patrol. It’d been quite some time since the ivory beauty participated in such an event. “I’ll join you as well.”
