    how long exactly had she been gone for? she had no idea how long she’d been gone or how she even got here. everything was strange, different. the foreign place sent a shiver down her spine, forcing her paws to continue moving. soon enough, she stumbled upon a scent that was even the slightest bit familiar. were they here? how’d they get here? was it really them? "ryuu? hayliel? it’s me, azo..." hopefully they’d remember her. all she could do was sit behind the border and wait.

    TAKE ME DOWN, TAKE ME DOWN ALL THE WAY TONIGHT

    Hayliel couldn't remember the last time she had seen Azo. She had no idea, but the scent of Azo had captured her attention. She decided to follow it, until she spotted Seagi, and Azo. "Azo! the catsune ran over to Azo, practically cry. How long had it been since she seen Azo? "Where the hell have you been? Do you know how worried I've been?" the catsune aimed to wrap her arms aroud Azo.


    "Speech."


    azo allowed hayliel to wrap her arms around herself, pleased that she was still around. aiming to return the gesture, she’d attempt and fill the female in on everything. of course, she still was unsure of what had happened. "i-i don’t know what happened honestly. i have little memory of what happened... then somehow wound up in this place. i didn’t think i’d ever see any of you guys again." turning to the male, she felt bad for not answering him sooner. "yes, i knew your father before everyone came to this place. it was a long time ago however. and yes, i do plan to stay."

    Hayliel kept her arms around Azo, hoping that she wasn't going to disappear from her. "Well don't disappear on me again. You don't know how hard it's been. My husband is dead. Besides Ryuu and Seagi here. I've been so lonely. Don't leave me again." Hayliel was just so happy to see Azo, as she hoped that she was planning on staying.

    "Speech."


    "actually, my name is novocaine now." the doctor was silent in his approach, azo's return met with little outward enthusiasm on the underboss's part. the reveal of his new name would be sure to shock a few, but he has felt as if the name that carried so much with it was not his to keep anymore. the alabaster hellhound is serious and grave in his wake, pools of tumultuous ocean blue settling on the former capo and recognition flickers curiously in his eyes. his whip-like tail lashes as he settles on hayliel's side, keeping his gaze from shifting to seagi, his attention remaining on his long-lost friend. "it's good to see you are back azo." the six foot tall creature would eventually say after a momentary pause and a habitual look over of the other's frame. then, the corners of rose colored lips twitch upwards into the faintest of smiles. it was a mere ghost of what it had been - what it could have been. despite the lack of facial expressions forming on novocaine's face, he is very much elated at the whitecreek's return.

    she couldn't explain how relieved she was to be around these people again, how it felt to have them welcome her back without any questioning behind the matter. she could be whole again. she could live again. "my apologies, i was unaware of the name change. i think novocane suits you though, i like it." she felt at ease with the comfort that the hug hayliel brought her, and she could only hope that things would stay perfect like this once more.
