It has been nearly two moons now. She was due any day now. She felt confident about this now. Having moved into the nursery, she takes up enough space for two queens. Which was a tad bit embarrassing for the molly. She lay curled up in the warmth of the den, waitng for someone to bring her some prey or offer to keep her company. "I like being a Queen..."

A dark gray form appeared from the camp entrance with a sparrow hanging from her jaws. She noticed Frostfalls tail as it slipped into the nursery. Her dark green eyes narrowed slightly before she trotted towards the Fresh-kill pile, depositing her catch before padding towards the nursery. If no other cats were in there, they were going to have a talk. Wolfpaw slipped inside and her gaze landed on the queen as she dipped her head respectfully, "Frostfall, do you have a moment? I wanted to discuss Rootlegs' visit with you."

Wolfpaw would sit down a comfortable distance away from the Windclan queen but her voice was low, still respectful, but clearly not amused, "Why was Rootlegs, really here." Her pine green eyes met the queens evenly, she wondered if she would actually lie to her. Since it was just the two of them in the nursery, Wolfpaw hoped that at least the queen would feel comfortable stating truth to her clanmate. Thats' all Wolfpaw wanted..was the truth. If Frostfall promised to raise these kits Riverclan she saw no harm in taking a mate outside of the clan. But then again, that was only Wolfpaws' personal opinion. With how much Frostfall was a stickler to the warrior code, she had been surprised at the level of friendliness and affection she had shown the tom when he arrived.

Wolfpaw nodded softly, as if she understood, but she then sighed and meowed bluntly, "Look, I don't mean any disrespect with my questions, but it was clear from how you greeted him that there is more then just friendship going on. And of all times for Rootlegs to show up for some random visit, you just happen to be with kits. And you are having kits during a time where we all thought you and Frogleap were fighting." The apprentice lowered her voice softly, "I promise I won't tell any cat....but if these kits' aren't Frogleaps...then he has a right to know. It's not fair to use him like this.

Wolfpaw only sighed, seemingly in annoyance as Frostfall tried to intimidate her by using her obviously larger frame to loom over her. The dark gray apprentice rose to her paws, and looked up at the queen, her gaze steady and unwavering as she stood nose to nose with the warrior, "Fine. But for your kits sake, you stop lying to yourself, Frogleap, and your kits. Because lying only leads to heartache." The apprentice then turned her back on the warrior, all respect for the she-cat gone. If she wanted to be a liar then so be it. But Wolfpaw wouldn't stand for it. Wouldn't stand for her clanmates being so blantanly lied to by a cat who supposedly held the warrior code in high esteem. Before she exited the den she would look back once more, her pine green eyes seemed to glare at Frostfall in something close to distaste, "So much for honoring the warrior code. We'll see the truth once your kits are born. Lets' see if Starclan can tell the truth you refuse to speak." The the apprentice slipped out of the nursery, pawsteps heading towards the warrior den.
