  • ANTHONY KUELLER

It is never Tony or Ant; this is clearly a man who does not appreciate nicknames, and gives off the impression of reacting violently to misplaced affection. One would be hard-pressed to imagine even his wife calling him by a nickname, so much does he give off the impression of loathing one.

    — Male [he/him]

    — 4 years

    — The eldest son of the Kueller patriarch and his wife, Anthony is the older brother of Raymond, sister, sister, and brother.

    — Allegiance: currently in the Blackheart Rouges

    —Birth body: Bengal tiger

Anthony was born as a tiger, and it is not a form he has given up, although many chose to do so. Weighing in at about 570 pounds, he is power defined, grace and danger expressed in every roll of his muscles and movement of his limbs. His coloration is not surprising, simple orange and brown, with the notable expression of his eyes: Anthony is a Kueller, and that means that he sees with a gaze that is too deep a blue to be considered anything but purple. His eyes are large and lavender, bringing to mind a field of fresh blossom in the springtime.

    — Anthony was born into a position that ought to have primed him for leadership, but how much of a leader he is, is not so easily determined. Certainly, he doesn't inspire feelings of loyalty or subservience, and those who would serve him do not do so out of love, but out of fear for his temper, or for reasons of their own which are beyond simple comprehension. He lacks charisma, that magical trait that can make even the poorest man appear capable of achieving the impossible.

    — His temper is not to be ignored: it is like wildfire, easily ignited but difficult to extinguish. Small actions arouse his wrath, but even the most flowery apologies do little to dampen it. His one saving grace in this regard is that once Anthony does bestow forgiveness, he will not subconsciously bear a grudge, but return his favor to the affected individual until such a time as it is lost again.

    — What he lacks in charisma, Anthony more than makes up for in sheer force of personality. He doesn't do anything by halves: if you have his love, it is the love of David for Jonathan, and if you arouse his jealousy, it is like the jealousy of Othello. He is loyal to a fault to those who earn in; indeed, his argument with his brother, Raymond, may come as a surprise to the rest of his family, for Anthony has always considered the ties of family to be something extraordinary, and only extreme circumstances would cause him to betray one he loves.

    — Anthony is fast living and impulsive. He appears to want to get the most out of what time he has on earth, and does not hesitate away from any experience that would bring him pleasure. This appears to be the basis for his moral code: he does not think, how do my actions harm or benefit others, but, what can I do to bring myself more pleasure? In his world view, he comes first, consequences be damned. (He'd rather burn those bridges when he comes to them than plan on how to avoid them altogether.)

    — Everyone must have a vice, and in his pursuit of pleasure, Anthony has acquired many. He is a hard drinker, and despite a tolerance that has been strengthened by near constant abuse, he enjoys losing his mind to the bottle, and works to do so. He does not hold with smoking, or those who smoke—the stench is vile—but is an avid gambler, and has lost many objects dear to him in a lost bet.

    — Anthony's moral character is not sterling, although he does not see any problems with it. He is ruthless in the pursuit of his goals, and that is the problem: with his 'me first' attitude, he often overlooks options that help others in favor of those that gives him the most of what he wants, when he wants it. Certainly, he has limits and boundaries that he is loath to cross, and while it is possible that they could stand to be stricter, he does not often begin with the intention to hurt.

    — Existing on Earth before the rebuild, Anthony was born to a powerful family. His father ran something of a crime syndicate: one would be hard pressed to explain exactly what sort of business the family was involved in, and that was by design. Followed by four younger siblings, Anthony grew up with the knowledge that if he ever intended to lead the family, he had to impress his father: if he failed to do so, one of siblings might be appointed to the position he so desperately coveted.

When the rebuild occurred, Anthony's father hadn't declared anyone else his heir. Anthony and his siblings were transported to Argelos, but his father was not. Amidst the ensuring confusion, Anthony's younger brother, Raymond, simply claimed leadership by announcing that Anthony had perished. So far, Anthony has not yet discovered this treachery, but the time is fast approaching when he will.
