I GOT ANOTHER CONFESSION TO MAKE

Well, it was time to get started. So, she made her way over and settled in. Eyes flicking over the gathered NPCs and head tilting down slightly. "Alright! Gather for a meeting guys! This one will be painless, for most." She roared as she’d rear found the earth under her.

Toxicpassion was among the first to arrive, taking her place at the bottom of the ledge on which Aglaia sat. She turned to face the Highlands as the other members filtered in, interest sparkling in her green eyes as she wondered just who would show up.

  • reneir would take a seat near the back of the group, hoping to avoid the females as much as possible. the last thing he wanted was more conflict with them. especially considering how his respect went from high to low within seconds. he no longer trusted those he once did. all because of this stupid female domination crap.

Chione was at the meeting mostly because half her time was spent following her mom around throughout the day. "Go Aglaia! Wooo!" The cub cheered happily. Not that she had any idea what she was cheering for.

The cheer of her daughter would grab her attention and she let out a soft laugh. Ears flicking slightly as she turned back to her gathered clan. "Firstly, I want to thank you all for your activity. You are all wonderful." She mused with a soft smile before moving on. "I said I would explain ranks and traditions more when I could and now I am. Our female high positions are the Chieftess. The leader over all, obviously. Warchiftess, who is second in command. Moonguards, who are trusted guards basically. They report to anyone on the council of ladies. We will get to that later. Shaman, which is our healer rank."

She paused and then stretched a bit. "Female semi-high positions are as follows; shaman student and blessed. The shaman student is training to be a healer and the blessed is a stepping stone rank. Speaking of, I want to promote Chione to the Blessed rank." A pause and then she carried on casually. "Male high postitions are next. Stargazers, which keep tabs on the stars and study them. They are the most trusted males. Skinners are another well trusted rank. These are the battle happy males and trusted guardians. Lastly, we have Breeders. This rank is for the coddled males that will simply help with producing children and live sheltered lives."

She let herself pause and then spoke further after a moment. "Now for the male semi-high positions. Stargazer apprentices, who learn how to study the stars and help their mentors. Braves, which is also a simple stepping stone rank. Speaking of, Sag gets a warning. I need to see you a hint more love."

Another pause and then she would move into regular ranks. "Highlanders are the base rank for adults. Apprentices and Children are standard as well. So that is that. Hang in there for the titles and traditions are coming up next." She chimed as she let the gathered take in the words spoken.

Chione did her best to listen, but when the word 'Moonguard' came up she just lost her attention span and started daydreaming. What the heck did the moon need guards for, anyway? Was the moon under attack? Oh no! She definitely needed to pay attention then, on the war to defend the moon. But wait, how could she pay attention if she was busy thinking about the moon war?

She tuned back in, right in time apparently: '...promote Chione to the Blessed rank.' Whaat? Her? This was way more urgent than the moon war! Well the cub was eager to help, this was her home after all. Her state of shock and confusion quickly turned into a tentative smile. She supposed she would have to talk to people more, and act more... adult-y, though, if she wanted to show that this promotion wasn't a mistake. And for her first order of business being adult-y, she paid as much attention as she possibly could, ready for the next batch of information.

  • 。・゚゚・ The kid jumped into the small crowd, as discreetly as possible; he'd come in late, and really hoped no one would notice. The fox heard only the last of the male positions, and the warning with his name tacked on the end. Crud. "Sorry, Chieftess Aglaia." he muttered.

Toxicpassion's green eyes focused on Aglaia as she began to speak. Oh, this was fascinating. So they were merely segregating the ranks for the most part, rather than directly adjusting the status of the different genders? Interesting, interesting indeed. She supposed it was easier to go slowly rather than change everything at once.

"Onto titles. We have Lionheart. This is for those that display an act of extreme courage. She also have Host. This title is for those that create and Participate events for the clan. Then there is Prowess. This is for those that show their strength on the battle field. Silverpelt is for those that that have a passion for the stars. Diplomats are those that take strides in helping our allies bond with us. Warmaster is for those that have proven their dedication and loyalty through and through." She would pause now and then offer a soft smile.

"Druid is for those who are of keen mind and steady paws, thus wonderful healers. Revelation is for those that pass the revelation quest. The last one is the Council of Ladies. This title is for the women I trust to help guide my paws." She paused and then offered a casual smirk. "Stick around for the traditions we shall have."

The titles were ... interesting, Toxicpassion thought, continuing to nod along as Aglaia brought up the next part of the meeting. Truthfully, she looked forward most to the traditions; she had partaken in many in her life so far, and it looked like she might be finding some more to put purpose into over the next moon or few. Of course, it all depended on what Aglaia's next words would be.

"Tribal names will still be a thing. Much like my own name, She who heals warriors, each member will have a name. You may request one at the meetings, if you are so inclined." She paused and then moved on casually. "We will start holding a Revelation Quest for all warriors, including myself. This will be to reflect on ourselves. After this, it will be custom for each apprentice to do this before becoming a warrior. I will hold a session to send each of you out for said quest soon enoug."

Another pause and then she spoke once more. "The mark of independence. This will be for all kits becoming apprentices. You will be announced an apprentice at a ceremony where you will choose your new room, as you will no longer dwellin your parents room." She would hum softly before carrying on. "Marriage rites. We will now celebrate weddings more. Ceremonies will be held under the full moon."

Another moment to let that sink in and she would move on. "Lastly is Death rites. As death is nothing more than another journey for us, the life lost should be celebrated. As such we hold a vigil and build a cairn over the burial place. If we have no body, we will build one in a place the fallen member loved." That was it then. She finished her meeting and could move on. "Meeting is dismissed, unless you have questions for me."
