Mario smirked, also in dark form, holding his whip as he too watched the burning buildings “I knew that surplus of Fire flowers I had would be useful someday...”

Bowser, with a couple of his minions, ran towards Eggman’s lab

Eggman was briefing some of his best soldiers.
"These two need to be stopped!"

He saw bowser enter the lab a moment later, with Junior and a couple of his Koopa soldiers behind him

"Ah, Bowser."

“Heh... hi..” Bowser, panting tiredly

"Guessing you're here because of the plumber and hedgehog?"

He nodded tiredly “They just destroyed a good portion of my Kingdom... so... I came over here with some of my troops.. to ask for help...”

"Just in time, my spiny friend. I was about to send out Metal and Mecha Sonic to handle our dilemma."

“But those two lose to the plumber and hedgehog all the time. What will make this time any different?”

"Because this time, they aren't my main attack. They're going to be distractions."

“So... what are we going to do? Who’s the bigger threat?” The lesser threat we can distract while the bigger threat is the one that’s attacked”

"Which is the problem, they're both main threats... hence, we distract them both."
