    chica overall is probably,, high key stressed bc

    - the exiles poisoned her son vice dep and she freaked out on a kid who was actually trying to help him

    - she and her fiance had split up bc NEITHER of them want to talk abt their problems and come up with a solution together

    - and then everyone from like,, her early years are popping up all of a sudden and she feels like she's going down memory lane which has its ups and downs bc if y'all think she's problematic now you should have seen her back then

    two weeks. time slips past reaching fingers and into unwavering sands, mocking and pensive in form. two weeks since messy laughter last echoed within head dizzy, dizzy, or she has curled up against skin broken chest, listened to the beating of war drum heart. two weeks since half smiles curved lips and catalyst hands tried to hold another, gentle, gentle. two weeks since shards of what once was and had beens shattered image. two weeks since they came to a sudden end- no, no, not sudden.


    that says that neither could see, neither could see it coming. but it's been building, building, rising, rising to a head, the distrust weeding between them since last february's fallout. it has never ceased, has never been soothed, smoothed down so love could flower properly, like lilacs weaved into skin. instead toxicity rallied, blistering cesspool that hurt their passion for another, poisoned minds and tongues until snipes whizzed past teeth, and anger colder than winter's frost consumed two once-lovers. by then they just held on to the bare threads of once what was, remnants of past they thought they could breathe life into. and look how that turned out.

    i just spent the last hour writing five paragraphs on how much chica loves jade agdksk, and i haven't even got to her actually seeing her body.

    real talk though- aloepaw is a terminally / fatally ill kid with a vague as hell disease that weakens the muscles and bones in her body. she isn't meant to live really, really, long and as she gets older, she's only going to get worse and right now she is super fearful and paranoid. eventually- somehow- she's going to get into this martyr-like life style where she is hella reckless and makes sacrifices all the time, where she is desperate to be loved and remembered and not just another face in her clan because the fear of being forgotten and the fear that she doesn't have enough time to do all the things she wants to is immense.
