Lindy padded through the pine forest. The needles prickled her pawpads and she walked through the whipering forest, that nobody could listen to. She went out searching for some poisons- rhubarb, daffodils, maybe oleander. She was lost in her own thoughts- being a poisonous two-faced traitor. She was pretty comfortable with that, actually. Suddenly she heard a rustle behind on of the trees. This season was wet, and the air was filled of mushroom scent. Lin sniffed a little, but couldn’t smell anything. For a while, she hesitated. Then she used her invisibility, and wanted to leave, when she heard a sweet but poisonous voice- just like hers. “Don’t even try, Lindy Mamba. I know you are here, you two-faced adder,” it said. Lindy startled and turned around, clearly wisible now. Then she saw the one who said it, and understood. She frowned, and was ready for anything.
In front of her stood another black-back jackal. Her age, her eyes. But her sister had scent of aloe and cactus. Aura was different, and always would be. “Aura Mamba. What do you think you are doing in Shadow Veil. This is OUR territory, or better say mine now. Those stupid animals are just annoying tripping my legs. You belong to the Treacherous Steppe,” Lindy growled. Aura let out an evil laugh. “An anti-clan, as I supposed. Where else could you be? Lindy Mamba, I hate you,” aura said.[colr=blueviolet] “Hate you to,” [/color]said Lindy with and ironically sweet voice. “Revenge, Lindy, revenge,” Aura said maniacally. “I am here to kill you. Like you did to our brother.”
We must say, that Lindy shivered a little. She WASN’T going to say she was sorry. That would be a lie. Although she had a patent on lying, practically. She really was just a two-faced adder. Her sister had super senses and ice powers. That would be a fair opponent, the word Lindy hated.
Without saying a word, Aura broke the silence with a fight-whine, and leaped at Lindy. She teleported herself, and tried to shock Aura from the back. Aura could feel even her breath, and turned around, getting a slap in the face by the electricity. Lindy trued to use the moment, and tripped her over. Her sister freezed her legs to the ground, and without hesitating, Lindy gave the bite to the neck to end the fight.
Suddenly an unnatural silence was all over the place. Lindy panted a lot, looking at the dead body of her sister, with a bite on the neck. She listened to the wind and the forest. Suddenly she understood what Whispering Pines meant. She felt her paws wet as they were melting quickly. She made a few steps backward, and ran like for her life, even though nobody was hunting her, all she heard where these words:
Once you did what they call mistake

Lindy always meant the snake
