  • THIS QUEEN DON’T NEED A KING ——

    💫

Lindy looked around her weird stone room made of ruins. It looked like a dead end. The walls in front of her and on the sides were surprisingly straight and good-looking, still covered in moss. Still, the den looked like some other animal lived here before- there was some ivy in the right corner and a few bricks taken out, so it made a hole that could be used for storing food. Lin padded over to it, and had to cough when she blowed it and a lot of dust fell out of there. As Lin looked around, she discovered that there was a tunnel (or a hole) she could fit through to a smaller room. Wow- someone was totally interested in herbs before me. She told herself, as the scent of herbs fanned unti her nose. However, there weren’t any. Acutally, Lindy was interested in poisons, so this was a fine place for that. Suddenly, Lin saw a small hole in the wall with sharp sunshine coming through it. She came to it, and gave it a try. She startled as the bricks falled down, and she was now facing off a nice cliff through the big hole. Alright, nobody can get here through there, if they aren’t a teleporter, just like me. But mostly I guess animals won’t be able to see this place, because that side seems quite... quiet. And i will have some sunlight and fresh air. Great! The jackal smiled, and let herself be warm again for some time. In the Treacherous Steppe, there was a lot of sunlught, and she missed the praire a little now. The female decided to make a nice nest here to sleep at, but she would need some moss. Maybe she would be able to collect some poison later.

Lindy concerned herself, and imagining the pont behind her den, she handed her mind a strict command to teleport. Suddenly, she was in shadow instead of on the sunlight, and she also wanted to go with someone. She looked around, and saw Nore alone. She teleported to her, and said with a gleaming smile: “Hey, do you want to go help me collect some moss?”

  • nore didn't know how to feel, to handle these emotions so when lindy teleported up to her: nore as skittish as always jumped, grey fur bristling before it settled down. collecting moss with her? at first, noreidimir was expecting an response as if winterdoomsday was still here but... winter was dead, she was having a funeral soon. and the thought couldn't just wrap around her mind, winter was dead? was it just some kind of giant nightmare lurking over her? it did seem like that... wide aquatic green eyes studied the jackal before shrugging.

"yeah... sure." the duskguard would simply respond, her thoughts had clearly vanished when the newcomer had came along. the semi-high position felt as her job skyrocketed, with no other high positions helping soundcheck. what if soundcheck needed her assistance as she was one of the most active veilians? a shiver runs down her spine at the thought, ugh, her having to probably lead a group one day if it ever happened? that was... terrifying.

Lin grinned. The cat looked the same lost in her thoughts as when they met the first time. She nodded, and made first few steps. “You are... Nore right? I am bad with names. Anyways, what kind of powers do you have?” the jackal asked

  • "noreidimir, but i just prefer nore." ever since the death of winterdoomsday, her stuttering had been very limited but she was still skittish and timid as ever. it was probably the harsh lingering of depression which caused the duskguard to not really, y'know, care. her narrowed ears flick at the next statement, powers? "uh, just plant manipulation for what i know of." noreidimir would respond, rolling her shoulder bones in response as she shoots a glance at the female jackal. it was nothing special, but probably she would forget it as she hardly used it: maybe try to learn new stuff.

if she ever could find herself out the void of depression which encased her.

Thr jackal gave the cat a gleaming smile. “Cool! I would like to have plant manipulation. Are you gonna be the healer because of it or anything?” she asked. “Maybe you could help me finish my room. Are you able to grow plants or seeds or plants from nothing? How does it work?” the jackal continued with questions. “Alright, as you see I have teleportation. I also have invisibility, what is good for an anti-clanner. But I do not use it much. Beneath that, I have Electricity. By the way, my tail sometimes randomly lits up, to be aware. But it doesn’t mean I am innerly aggressive or anything.” Great Lindy, that sounded TOTALLY like a tautology. Bravo.

  • "nah, i'm not going to be the healer..." a pang would hit noreidimir, biting her inner cheeks as winterdoomsday had also been one of the spiritcallers also with being the shadowkeeper. but now it was only yuu, since toxicpassion had left earlier as she was promoted to deputy of the highlands? was it the highlands? the duskguard couldn't remember, but she hardly did know toxic as much as she knew winter. the questions being thrown at her caused discomfort in her esophagus, slowly becoming nervous which each question. noreidimir didn't even know how to use her powers, it was weird- she used to be a kittypet.

she wasn't born in the agrelos word, but she was thrown into it. "yeah...i guess, i can help you...it just like...kinda causes flowers to grown... and you can use them defensively also, i guess..." maybe she could grow some flowers as a gift for her fellow duskguard later? wait, would that be dorky and really chessy? an faint flush of red rises to her light cheeks at the thought of charlotte, giving an awkward cough as she shakes her head to remove her thoughts.

“Oh, thank you then. I guess we are at the place. I will go collect the moss from that bole,” she said, pointing with her head to the pine tree piece of wood probably left over by a storm that happened long ago, because it was covered in moss. Somehow, before reaching it and making her mouth full, she managed to ask more questions. “Also, what about the Shadow Veil’s ranks? What is a duskguard anyways?”
