I love all of those ideas! 😩 I can’t wait for Maddie’s and Alden’s wedding it’s going to be so cute and small like in the movie because she isn’t that social so it would really only be her mom, the Levan’s, and a few people from school and that’s really it since Theo wouldn’t come for obvious reasons but once he imprints on Alana? Oh shiiii boy better run from Maddie cause she’s gonna be pissed but eventually she’ll understand and trusts that Theo and the rest will take care of the kids if something happens and she and Alden both die
the pretty lies, the ugly truth

zoe adalyn hardbeck//seventeen//human
The sound of roaring thunder woke Zoe up with a start. The female inhaled sharply and propped herself up on her elbows. She blinked drearily toward the window which was being pelted with rain.
She hadn't been able to sleep the night before because of the constant whooshing of the rain and wind against the roof. It just wouldn't fade into the background. She had placed the blankets over her head, as well as a pillow. It didn't help. Though, eventually, the rain had settled into a quiet drizzle and she was able to slip into a deep slumber. That wasn't until well after midnight, though.
Glancing at her clock, she realized it was a few minutes past 5:00 AM. School didn't start for another three and a half hours. Since she had time, she rolled back over and was thrown into another dream she wouldn't remember when she woke.
Almost two hours later, Zoe woke again. When she looked back at the window, all she could see was a thick fog. She couldn't even see the sky and it made her feel like she was trapped.
Standing from her bed, Zoe went to her dresser and grabbed some clothes. She didn't have a lot of winter clothes since she wasn't used to such chilly weather, but she'd make do. She found a long-sleeved black shirt, one of her only winter shirts. Throwing that on, she opened another drawer and grabbed matching black jeans. They were ripped, but it was all she had. Deciding she needed layers, she grabbed a gray t-shirt and threw it on over her long-sleeved one.
There was a mirror on the back of her door, so she went to stare at her reflection. Her outfit was very plain, but she didn't care. She'd stand out either way, what with being the new kid and all.
After taking care of basic hygiene, she headed for the bathroom. There, she messed around with her hair. She knew she wanted it up and out of the way. If she kept it down, the weather would just cause it to be frizzy. After fixing it up for a few minutes, she was finally satisfied with her hair.
For makeup, she just painted her lips a bright red color. She then drew wings with her eyeliner and used a brand new tube of mascara. She didn't often wear makeup, but when she did, she didn't wear very much.
Stepping back into her room, she grabbed her leather jacket and slipped it on. She then grabbed a scarf her mom had given her and wrapped it tightly around her neck. It was January and the weather was freezing.
Breakfast with her dad was quiet. They sat at the kitchen table eating eggs and bacon in silence; the only sound being their chewing. They weren't sure what to say to each other.
He knew she only moved here to get away from her mom and her god awful husband. Now she was exiled to the town that she detested. It was a lose-lose situation, really. Though he hadn't objected when she brought up the idea of moving in with him. He actually sounded pleased.
"Well, I'm off to work." He said as he finished washing his plate in the sink. There was no dishwasher.
"Okay, dad. See you later."
With that, he was gone.
She sat there in the chair for a moment, watching her dad back out of the driveway. She knew she was going to be early on her first day if she left now, but she didn't want to stay in the house.
When she stepped outside, she realized it had begun to drizzle again. Though not bad enough to soak her clothes.
After locking up, she headed straight for her car. Once she reached her sedan, she hurried inside; grateful that it was nice and dry. It became even better once she started the car and turned the heater on full blast. Her dad had bought it for her as a homecoming gift. It wasn't new, so it still smelled faintly like peppermint from whoever owned it last.
The drive wasn't too bad, even though she wasn't used to driving in the rain. She listened to Bellyache by Billie Eilish on her way there. She drove down a few gravel roads before she reached the interstate. It was then that she saw the sign for Forks High School.
Turning in, she parked in the nearly empty parking lot. She was over an hour early, so no wonder.
Grabbing her schedule out of her bag, she glanced it over; trying to figure it out. Luckily she had been given a map she could look over as well. Really, she was just stalling. She didn't want to leave her warm and dry vehicle.

simon elliot nelson//seventeen//human
Simon seemed to wake with the sun. He wasn't normally an early riser, but he just couldn't seem to stay asleep. Throughout the night, he had multiple nightmares. This was common for him, especially when his anxiety was high. At one point he dreamed of his mom and he woke up crying.
Now that he was awake, he couldn't fall back asleep. His mind was now buzzing with the thought of starting his first day at the local high school. He kept thinking about how everyone here had known each other since they were toddlers. He would be the ultimate new kid. He wouldn't know a single person walking into this.
Pulling the faded quilt over his head, he sighed heavily and willed himself to sleep. He was in and out of sleep for almost an hour before he just gave up.
Standing from his bed, Simon stretched his arms and exhaled loudly. He then walked over toward his closet and picked out an outfit that he deemed worthy for his first day. Hopefully it would keep him warm.
When he headed downstairs, he saw a note on the fridge. Apparently his dad had gone for a jog. In this weather! He would do anything just to get his daily workout in. That was ex military for you.
After scarfing down a bowl of cereal, he slung his bag over his shoulder and headed out of the door. It was drizzling, nothing too bad.
Once he was finished locking up, Simon hurried toward his truck. As soon as he was inside, he let out a sigh of relief. Putting the heat on full blast, he shivered slightly and blew into his frozen palms.
Plugging his phone into the aux, he played Good Times by All Time Low. It made him think of home. Which, nowadays, that was a sad thought. The deep thoughts about his mom and his old life began to become overwhelming, so he focused on the next song instead; humming along to it.
After driving for a while, the rain picked up and he had a bit of trouble seeing where he was going. Luckily, there was a sign off of the interstate that said Forks High School.
Pulling in, he realized there were only a few other cars parked there. Checking the time, he saw that he was about an hour earlier than he needed to be.
The male sat in the car for a little bit; lost in thought. Inhaling, he took in the faint scent of gasoline that had stuck to his leather seats.
Rubbing his hands over his knees to spread the warmth, he reached into his bag and pulled a book out. It was the last of the Harry Potter series. He was currently re-reading it. He was actually a huge fan of the books and the movies. He took the test and his house was ravenclaw, his patronus was a black cat, and his wand was hawthorn wood, unicorn tail hair core, and 11 and 1/2 inch.
He was so entranced in the book that he didn't realize that more cars began to park around him.

theodore raphael blood//eighteen//werewolf - not triggered
Theo woke to the sound of his alarm blaring. Groaning, the male slammed his fist on top of the alarm clock. Once it was finished beeping, he grabbed a pillow and slammed it onto his face. He wanted so badly to just fall back asleep, but he knew he needed to get up.
Sitting up, he ran a hand through his dark hair and sighed softly. He then stood from his bed and offered a large yawn.
Glancing at the window, he saw that it was pretty foggy. Great. He'd have fun driving in that.
After getting dressed and ready, he stared down at his clothes. They were really laid-back, just some sweats and a jean jacket. He didn't plan on impressing anyone. Though there was word of the new students they'd be getting all on the same day. The one he was mostly looking forward to was Maddie.
The two of them used to be friends when they were just kids. He and his mom would drive down and visit them during spring break. Though it had been years since then. Last he saw her, she had skinny legs, a missing front tooth, and was much shorter than he was. He wondered how she looked now and if he would recognize her. Would she recognize him?
Sucking on his bottom lip, a nervous habit of his, he left his room and walked into the kitchen. His mom was making pancakes and his dad was reading the newspaper.
"Mornin'." He said quietly before sitting down at the table.
"Morning." They both repeated back. His mom more or less sang it.
She seemed to be in a better mood now that her best friend had moved back to town. He figured he'd be seeing a lot more of the Harrington family for a while.
Though something was off about this morning.
His best friend, Alex, had been distant. He usually ate breakfast with them and they'd dangerously race each other to school. But ever since the summer, he had been doing his own thing. It kind of hurt, if he was being honest. He often saw Alex with Eloise, Claudia, and Jay. They followed him around like disciples, as if he were the leader of a cult. It freaked him out and he had since grown resentful. His friends, Henry and Liam, felt the same way. He now spent most of his time with those two; the two that hadn't gone to the dark side.
After stuffing his face with pancakes, Theo grabbed his keys and headed outside. There was only a drizzle, nothing he couldn't handle. Though it was beginning to pick up. He had a feeling it would rain all day.
Getting into his truck, he frowned immediately. Once again, he wouldn't be racing anyone to school. This year, they were no longer going to school on the reserve. Now all students were going to Forks High School. It had caused major turf wars, mostly led by Alex himself; his followers acting like his shadow.
Starting his car, he turned the heat up and plugged his phone into the aux. He played Bright Pink Tims by blackbear.
His car smelled slightly like tobacco, which was his father's fault. The truck used to be his father's, the parent with a smoking and drinking habit.
When he arrived at the school, he realized that he was a little on the early side. Hardly anyone else was there.
Sitting in his car, he listened to the rain pound against his windows instead of lightly tapping. The rain had finally picked up.
Theo leaned his seat back and stared out of his window; mesmerized by the sky. It was mottled with different shades of gray; the sun nowhere to be seen. He then closed his eyes and rapped along to the next song until it was time to get out of his toasty warm car.

Amethyst Nyx Blackwell
Sixteen | Vampire | Reality Warping | Aries | Cisgender Female | Pansexual
"It lingers when we're done, you believe God is a woman."
Amethyst didn't sleep. She never slept. She spent the hours humans would spend sleeping on various things. She tries to teach herself as many various skills as she could. She had no use for human food but she was a very good cook, gourmet some would say. She could also bake like a southern belle. She tried her best to seem human. She hated what she was. But, she was the type that she felt everything happens for a reason. Amethyst decided early on to use her immortality for good. She wanted to learn about as many things as she could. She has the education to be a doctor, as well as a lawyer, and a chemist. She found science especially fascinating. She loved mixing chemicals and finding out what they could do. She was never quite satisfied, her curiosity always wanting more. She had been that way since she was a child. Amethyst had chosen this night to catch up on some reading. She had an adoration for books and always seemed to have one on hand. Amethyst sat out on the balcony of her apartment, the moonlight hitting her pale skin. Her light hair was pulled back into a messy bun and she was in a simple nightgown. She was trying to pass as a high school student, as she sometimes did when she wanted to learn more about the community she had moved into. But, she had moved to Forks because she had heard about the Levans. A coven of vampires that only drank animal blood, like she did. She wanted to learn all about them and maybe finally get the family she had been craving for so long.
The vampire turned the page in her book, her naturally golden eyes focused. She wore colored contacts when she wasn't home because a bright golden color wasn't normal for humans. She wanted to fit in, as much as she could. So she got contacts as close to her natural color as she could to try and fit in more. Amethyst had decided to get an apartment because she liked the appeal. She preferred to be alone most of time cause she had been alone for 400 years. It was just habit for her. But she wanted a family who understood why she drank from animals. She hated hurting the animals and never killed them herself. She would only drink from dying animals. Like, animals that had been attacked by a predator and then left behind. She felt too guilty otherwise. Amethyst lifted her head as she heard a small meow. Her cat, Mewtwo, came out onto the concrete patio by pushing the door open a slight bit more. She looked over at the cat with a smile as he meowed once more. She climbed off the edge of the balcony and closed her book, making sure the place the bookmark where it belonged. She clicked her tongue to beckon him and he purred. She picked him up into her arms and carried him inside, petting his head. She shut the sliding glass door that lead to the patio behind her and locked it. She set Mewtwo on the couch for a moment and her other cat, Bartholomew, hopped up beside Mewtwo. Amethyst walked over to her bookshelf and set her book in the place it belonged. She looked over to see Bartholomew grooming Mewtwo and the white cat did not seem to be enjoying it. The vampire teen giggled and shook her head. She walked over to her kitchen, grabbing their food bowls from the ground. She set them on the counter and grabbed their food from one of the cabinets by the pantry. As soon as they heard the bag rustle, they were right in front of Amethyst. She jumped a bit and then rolled her eyes, ruffling their fur. She filled their food bowls before setting them back onto the ground. They began to chow down as she set their food back into the cabinet and shut it.
Amethyst looked over at the clock and saw that it was 3 am. She pursed her lips, unsure of what to spend the rest of her time doing before she got ready for her first day at Forks High school. She blinked, looking toward her PlayStation 4. She thought for a moment, a small smirk raising on her lips. She grunted as she threw herself onto the couch, causing the cats to scatter. She laughed, wincing slightly at the fact that she scared them. She grabbed her controller from her table in front of the couch and turned everything on. Luckily, she had gone hunting a few hours before so her thirst would be quenched for a while. She wasn't sure what to play so as she thought, she went to Spotify. She scrolled through her playlists and decided to play some Eminem. She saw that Kamikaze played and she smiled ear to ear. She rapped along as she scrolled through her downloaded games. She sat up, her body leaning forward as her gold eyes focused on the screen. She decided to play some Call of Duty: World War II. She attached the headset to her controller and went on Zombie mode. She joined an online game and whistled along with the song. She heard kids talking through the headset but she tuned most of them out. She focused, soon being the top player in the round. She shot one of the players and laughed. "Bitch!" Amethyst laughed and the twelve year old blew up in her mic, calling her names. She rolled her eyes and just shot him again. She easily got the most kills in the round with only one death. She whistled along as Pac Man by Eminem played on her Spotify. She went to play another round and it went on like this for the next four hours.
Amethyst saw that it was 7 am and she decided to stop playing. She stood and stretched out her body, grunting. She placed her controller on the charger and walked to her room. She slipped off her nightgown, tossing it into her hamper. She sauntered over to her dresser, just wearing panties. She adored being naked. Not in a sexual way, she just felt confident in her body. One of the perks of being a vampire, perfect skin and you look porcelain. She picked out a bralette and slipped it on, pursing her lips. She sauntered over to her closet, hearing the cats wrestling in the next room over. She giggled at the sound of their playful nature and shook her head. She searched through her closet, trying to find something to wear. She wasn't the type to wear tight clothes most of the time. Sweatpants and hoodie were her best friend. She slipped on a love sleeve black see-through undershirt and slipped on a red long sleeve crop top on top of it. She grabbed a pair of white Adidas pants and a black belt and slipped those on as well. She looked at herself in the mirror and inspected her outfit. She snickered. "Yuh." Amethyst giggled and then slipped on some black combat boots. She walked to her bathroom, trying to decide what to do with her hair. She exhaled dramatically, blowing her hair out of her face. She frowned in concentration. She grabbed her brush and brushed through her light hair, trying to think of something else other than what she usually did. She rolled her eyes at herself. She knew she was gonna do the same hair style she usually did, who was she kidding? She pulled her hair into the style she liked and hummed, making some little adjustments. She looked at her hair in the mirror and shrugged at herself. She walked out to her living room, seeing her cats asleep in their cat tree. She smiled at their sleeping figures and rubbed their heads. They purred but didn't move much. She walked over to the table, tossing herself onto the couch. She reached for her phone, checking the time. She internally giggled at her phone case but it came out as a snort. It was 7:30 am. She pursed her lips, not sure if she wanted to be early or on time. She shrugged, not thinking of anything better to do. She grabbed her school bag and slung it over her shoulder, grabbing her lanyard that she carried her keys on and various charms. She turned her head, seeing her cats. Then she internally cursed and rushed to the bathroom. Amethyst slipped in her blue contacts and exhaled. She was so glad she didn't forget about those. She then walked over to her cats, kissing their heads and then jogging out of the apartment, shutting the door and locking it as she went.
The vampire teen jogged down the stairs as she approached her car. She whistled as she walked, swinging her lanyard. She came to her car and unlocked it, slipping inside. She turned on the car and tossed her bag into the seat next to her. She connected her phone to the aux cord and pushed play before pulling out her parking spot. She guffawed as Mooo! by Doja Cat blasted in her car. She laughed loudly, loving that this was on her playlist. She shook her head, smiling ear to ear. She sang along, dancing and motioning with her hands as she drove. She got a few weird looks but she just stuck her tongue out at them when she noticed them looking. She drove for about fifteen minutes before she saw a sign saying she was approaching Forks High School. She lived on the edge of town in her apartments so she would be less likely to run into humans from school. She pulled into the fairly full parking lot and parked next to some boy on his phone. She peeked over. Pottermore? Her kind of person. She turned off the music on her phone as she disconnected the aux cord. She grabbed her bag and climbed out of her car, shutting the door and locking it. She tossed her lanyard with her keys inside her bag and grabbed a lollipop from from pocket. It was cotton candy flavored, her favorite. She unwrapped it and began to suck the flavor from it. She slung her bag over her shoulder and approached the school. She saw teens slowly filing into the school and as she approached, the first bell rang. She guessed that was the opening bell, letting students know school was open? She wasn't sure. She plugged her headphones into her phone and an earbud into one of her ears, flipping through her songs. She played Gorgeous by Taylor Swift as she walked through the front doors of the school. She looked up, putting her phone in her pocket. She saw a group of two people, who she guessed were the kids on student council or something meant to introduce the new students to the school. She approached them, pulling her lollipop from her mouth. "I don't get a Welcome to Forks High School banner?" Amethyst teased with a pout. She giggled and turned to the male that was supposed to greet them. He reeked of... wet dog. He was definitely a werewolf. She smiled sweetly at him, offering him her hand to shake. "I'm Amethyst Nyx Blackwell." The teen said in a bright and bubbly tone as she popped her lollipop back into her mouth.
August Kenneth Rogers
Fifteen | Human | Closeted | Virgo | Transgender Female | Pansexual
"If tears could be bottled, there'd be swimming pools filled by models."
August woke from a troubled sleep, running his hand through his hair. He had been tossing and turning all night, all the possible outcomes of how tomorrow would play out on loop in his head. Would the new school accept him? Would they reject him? Would he have any friends? Would he be bullied? So many questions he needed the answer for now but it wasn't possible. August exhaled slowly as he rubbed his eyes, waking himself up. He stood, stretching out his body as he did so. He knew he would have to be masculine, be a firm and straight male. Which he hated. But he hadn't come out to his family yet so he was still just... August. He almost seemed to dream of when he could become Olive. In a world filled with hate, he just wanted to bring love. And he felt he would only ever be happy as a female. He knew it in his soul. But, his father would try to burn him at the stake and his mother would try to exercise him for the way he believed. He was almost the complete opposite of his parents. They were judgmental and cruel and he loved to accept everyone and make them feel validated. They were very Christian and he was very Atheist. He felt if God existed, he wouldn't let his supposed children suffer the way they did. War, famine, death. Why would a father ever want his children exposed to something like that? He just didn't understand it. August walked over to his bathroom, exhaling. He was always forced to be masculine, by his parents, by the Christian community. He hated it. He just wanted to be himself. Or herself really. August splashed some water in his face, looking up at his reflection. He hated what he saw. He wanted a feminine body, he wanted breasts, a nice butt, everything. He ran his hateful hands through his hair, clenching his jaw. He wanted long hair and the ability to do his makeup without it contrasting his masculine face. August shook his head and brushed his teeth.
August rinsed out the sink and his toothbrush, tapping his hands on the edge of the counter. What was holding him back from coming out to his parents? He felt it was everything and then nothing all at once. He knew he would be kicked out and he didn't want to live on the streets but he'd prefer the streets and being himself over forcing himself to be masculine. August walked out to his room once more and looked at the time. 7 am. He pursed his lips, debating skipping school. His parents would never let him and he wouldn't dare but it was a thought. August walked over to his closet, picking some clothes. He didn't really care since he didn't get to wear what he wanted but he might as well look fashionable. August tossed the clothes onto his bed and inhaled deeply. He just wanted to fast forward a few years to where he was transitioned and living a happy life, possibly with his soulmate. But he knew he had to go through this suffering first to get that happiness. He slipped on his outfit and looked in the mirror as he slipped on his beanie. He hated his body but the outfit was cute. Maybe he'd like it more on a straight male. August shrugged his shoulders and reached over, grabbing his school bag. Hr slipped on his brown boots and jogged down the stairs. His mother was making breakfast and humming a gospel tune. His father was sitting at the head of the table, like usual, reading the newspaper and drinking his black coffee. August's gaze turned to his younger sister, Haley. She was on her phone, scrolling through some social media app, he wasn't sure which. Twitter? His parents would always take their phones before they went to bed and gave them back in the morning. And they always monitored and went through their phones. So August never really had any privacy, which he hated. His baby brother was in his high chair, babbling and giggling as he ate his cereal. August walked over to his baby brother and sat by him, a soft smile on his face. His mother's voice interrupted his happy moment.
"Remember to sign up for as many sports as you can. Even if they don't all accept you, it'll look good on college applications." His mother, Linda, spoke as she finished some scrambled eggs for Haley. His father, Eugene, looking up from his newspaper as his wife set Haley's breakfast plate in front of her. His father decided to speak up on the subject as well. "She's right. You need to try your hardest to get into a good Christian school, maybe meet a nice Christian girl and have a few kids once you both are married." Eugene added and August inhaled deeply. He blinked and just simply nodded, not having the strength to fight back his father with this subject. He kissed Fredrick's forehead and Haley's before grabbing his phone. He pulled his headphones out from his pocket and plugged them into his phone. He heard his mother beckoning him back for breakfast and he didn't even look back as he headed toward the front door. "I'm not hungry." Was all he said before he was out the front door. He grumbled under his breath, putting an earbud in both his ears. He turned on his playlist and turned the volume all the way up as he walked. Satellite Heart by Anya Marina began to play and he seemed to tune the world out. He wasn't allowed to listen to any other music besides Christian or Gospel but his mother allowed Indie songs, as long as there was no cussing. Which, he was fine with. Gave him more to listen to. And he adored Indie music so it wasn't a punishment to him. August exhaled deeply, seeing his breath through the air. He blinked, shoving his hands into his pockets. He felt so alone. In a world filled with people, he felt alone. He felt like they were passing him by in a fast forward motion and he was just standing still, watching everyone passing him by. He seemed to lose track of time because in what felt like five minutes, he was at Forks High School. He blinked, looking down at his phone. 8 am. He mumbled under his breath as he jogged across the street and arrived at his new school. I belong to you by Muse played through his headphones as he walked up.
August walked the other students walk by, talking about mundane things. Friends catching up and boyfriends holding hands with their girlfriends. August walked through the small crowd as he walked through the front doors. He saw two people standing and then a third join them. As he watched, he guessed those were the students tasked with greeting the new kids and showing them around. August walked over to the group, his hands still in his pockets. He awkwardly waved as he took out one headphone, feeling their eyes on him. "I'm August Rogers." The shy teen muttered as he put his hand back into his pockets.

Madelaine Harrington
Seventeen | Human | Cisgender female | Heterosexual
“Don’t be that way, fall apart twice a day, I just wish you could feel what you say.”
When Madelaine woke up it was anything but pleasant. She woke almost violently with the way her eyes shot open and the way she sat up quickly. Her heart was pounding so hard and loudly in her chest she could hear a ringing in her ears, her mouth parted open and taking in large gulps of air as her chest rose and fell quickly. Bright blue eyes searched through the dark room in a frenzied panic as she tried to calm down. It was just a night mare, Maddie. Her mind cooed, the young teen reaching up to run agitated fingers through her thick brown hair. Right. Just a nightmare, except it was a nightmare that had been all to real a while ago. Maddie didn’t talk about her father often but his death was still effecting her in a lot of negative ways. More than she cared to admit. You see two years ago Madelaine had come home from school early and found her father dead on the floor, covered in pool of his own blood, a gun in his hand, and a bullet hole. At first she had hoped that it was a murder, that her father wouldn’t just leave them like that but once they found a suicide note in his messy handwriting she knew that he had taken his life. After that she had never been the same. She was more quiet, ate less, stopped hanging out with friends and basically became a shell of herself. Her mother, Allison, tried helping really she did but Maddie didn’t want help. She wanted to wallow in self pity and despair for as long as she possibly could. As long as she didn’t physically hurt herself what was the problem? Her father killed himself. She thinks it’s okay that she wasn’t the same fourteen year old girl she was then. It got to much after another year and a half and her mother decided that it would be best for them to move back to her hometown which just so happened to be in the middle of no where in Washington. Truth be told she was a bit upset it was such a small town. That meant if word about her father got out, which she was sure it would, everyone would know and she might be labeled as the weird girl who’s father committed suicide and it was frankly just annoying to have everyone look at you like that. Like you were some emotional kitten that would burst out crying if you brought it up. Honestly the only reason they were in this town of all places was because it was where her mother grew up and her old best friend still lived here with her family and Allison wanted a familiar face after everything that happened. Maddie couldn’t blame her for that. She could remember the Bloods though, most importantly their son Theodore. Last she saw them she was ten and he was eleven, much taller than her with shaggy brown hair and a playful smile. Now she was a bit curious to see how he grew up.
Letting out a yawn she reached over to her dresser and grabbed her phone. Fuck it was only four o clock in the morning. What was she suppose to do for the next two hours until she had to get dressed? There was absolutely no way she was going to sleep after that nightmare. Groaning she buried her face into her hands. This was torture. The sooner this day was over the better. Pushing the covers off her curvy figure that she inherited from her mother, Mads through her legs over the side. Sliding her feet into her slippers she sleepily trudged to the bathroom. Maybe a nice bath would help calm her down and wake her up fully. Turning the light on she shielded her eyes from the brightness for a few moments, blindly walking over to her bathtub and turning on the two knobs. Pulling her hair into a messy bun she grabbed her laptop and turned it on as she waited for the water to fill. Picking a new random movie on Netflix she set it on the side of the tub and moved to turn the water off. Getting undressed she quietly slipped in with a sigh. It may not help with the nightmares but it definitely felt nice.
An hour passed before Madelaine was getting out of the tub. Grabbing her robe she tied it tightly around herself before letting all the water out. Walking into her room she grabbed her phone. Seeing that she had a text from her mom she opened the message and read what it said.
‘I had to leave for work really early today but I love you and I hope you have a great day.’
Her mom was also a police officer. Probably another reason why it was easy for them to move out here, a city no matter how small was always going to need officers right? The message brought a small smile to Maddie’s lips. She didn’t care about a lot of people anymore, barely even cared about herself but her mother was different. Her mother was her rock and she probably would be even more depressed had she not been here. Her mother stayed sane through this whole problem while Maddie slipped further and further away. Allison kept her from falling completely over though and Maddie would always love her mom because of that. Sending a quick message back she tossed the phone on to the bed. Might as well get dressed she supposed. Pulling open the closet she started pulling out random items that she knew would be suitable for the chilly winter weather. After picking out an outfit she quickly got dressed. It wasn’t anything really special. Just a t-shirt with the initials ‘NY’ on them and a picture, a pair of light wash blue jeans, a thick leather jacket, and a pair of black boots. Reaching her hand up she pulled her hair out of its bun, shaking her head to let the long locks flow down her back in a big heap. Since she really didn’t even want to be here she didn’t see any need in trying to go all out with a hairstyle that was to extra, and wearing makeup. She didn’t even like makeup.
Grabbing her bag she left her room, shutting the door behind her. Going downstairs she waltzed into the kitchen, grabbing herself a bowl, milk, and the box of honey but Cheerios off the fridge she made herself some and sat down at the table. Playing a video by Shane Dawson to help pass the time. What could she say his videos were amazing. He should really have his own Netflix show or something. Now that was money well spent if you ask her. Once she was finished she put the bowl into the sink and grabbed her car keys off the counter. Well, technically they were her dad’s car keys but after he died her mom never got rid of it and just gave it to her once she got her license. Luckily it not longer smelt like him so she just tried not to focus on it.
Leaving she went out to her truck . It might not be the prettiest thing in the world but it damn sure got her where she needed to be and it belonged to her father so that was all she needed from it. The ride wasn’t all to long thankfully since she only lived twelve minutes away and had just blasted some music the whole way there. Luckily since she left earlier than need be it wasn’t that hard finding a parking spot either. Exiting the car she saw that there were a few more people there was well. However, one person caught her eye. Pulling out her phone she went to the recent picture of Theodore his mom sent her so she would be able to find the teen. Looking up at the guy again she quickly concluded that it was in fact him and went over. Knocking on his window she stood back and waved once she got his attention. “Theodore right?” She asked tilting her head with a small smile.

“First things first imma say all the words inside my head”
By the time Alex got home from patrolling the borders of their, well technically his, territory it was well past midnight and man was he completely beat. Being the alpha was no laughing matter and was hard work but he wouldn’t have things any other way. Trudging up the pathway to his house he yawned covering his mouth with his hand. He would only be getting a few hours of sleep but he was so looking forward to it. Pushing past the back door she walked in before silently closing it back behind himself so he wouldn’t risk waking up his parents. He might be an alpha but he surely was not mean that was certain. Besides he had been trained to be alpha his whole life, he was prepared for this before fully even knowing what ‘this’ was. Plus he had his friends, excluding Theo, along in the pack with him.
After getting to his room all while successfully not waking up neither his mom or his dad Alexander let out a relieved groan at the sight of his bed. He practically flopped head first into it and buried his face into the soft satin material of his pillow. He didn’t care that he was sweaty. He didn’t care that he probably should take a shower first. Hell, he didn’t even care that he would need to wash his clothes again after this. All he wanted to do was sleep and sleep he did. By the time he woke up again it was past six o clock. Groaning he sluggishly rolled over onto his side and pressed his alarm clock off. Another day another year at school. Only this time they had to go to a new school which he was not looking forward to. Never in a million years would he ever want to share the same school as those blood sucking vampires, not after what one did to his little sister. Now because of one of those creatures he lost a sister and his parents lost a daughter. Despite it happening over a year ago he was still pissed off about it. She never hurt anyone. Everyone in town loved her and she was a sweet kid with a future ahead of her for all that talent to be wasted in a horribly show of fate. He could still remember his parents bringing her body back from where they found her drained of every drop of blood she was worth. Ever since hes had an understandable vendetta against the vampires like most of his kind did but his was strong his was very much personal. This caused a large territory dispute between his pack and the Levan’s. They stayed on one side while the wolves stayed on the other. No crossing the borders and no unprovoked attacks. Failure to comply resulted in the agreement being over with and a war might as well break out.
After taking a long hot shower he got out, brushed his teeth and went into his room to get dressed. Sitting down on to his bed he reached for his phone seeing a group message from the rest of his pack members asking if they all wanted to head to breakfast together before school. Chuckling he quickly replied saying he couldn’t because he had volunteered to show some new kids around. Three girls and two boys apparently. They hadn’t gotten that many new kids since the Levans came to town but to be fair could they really be classified as kids since most of them were probably over a hundred years old mentally? He wasn’t exactly sure. A small part of him felt bad that Theodore wasn’t included in this chat. Before this summer when Alex transformed for the first time he and Theodore were best friends and always joined at the hip. They hung out every day, always raced each other to school and the loser would have to buy them food after school. It was fun and he missed it but his pack was more important. All he could hope was that Theo also became a wolf as well. If so Alexander already knew he would make the man his beta. There was no one in this whole town that Alex didn’t trust more than Theo.
After getting dressed and putting on his outfit he was off. Grabbing his book bag he ran downstairs. Both his parents seemed to still be asleep which he couldn’t then blame since he would be too if he didnt have school today. Plus it was earlier since he would be showing those fresh meat around. As he drove he blasted the music rather loudly, more so than really necessary but he needed something to distract him and not make him think of racing Theo to school like they use to do. Once he arrived he quickly parked his car before climbing out. Shaking his head he looked up at the sky. It was so gloomy here in Forks but it was his home and he wouldn’t trade it for the world. Walking up the pathway to school he saw Lucy Mulligan outside as well. She must have agreed to show the kids around as well. Waving hi the pair entered the building and chatting quietly as they waited for the new kids to arrive. More people started to arrive to and before he knew it one of the new girls showed up. Turning around to get a good look at her Alex’s breath caught into her throat and the newly appointed aloha couldn’t seem to move for a second. Woah.. He thought as he looked at her. She was so gorgeous... For a few moments there didn’t seem to be anyone else there with them just her. He suddenly had the feeling to stay by her side and never leave, that he would protect her from anything and everything. Was this what imprinting was? His father use to talk to him about it and it kind of felt like it. He was so caught up he didn’t even take the to notice that she was a vampire. Her smell would have given it away. Her exclaiming her name brought him back to reality. Clearing his throat he reached forward to grab her hand. Ice cold. Fuck. He thought. Was his imprint a vampire. Oh no this was bad. Like really bad. Avoiding locking gazes with her he spoke up. “Uh..I’m Alex and that’s Lucy.” He pointed over to the girl. “We’ll get started soon. There’s just a few more people we need to wait for.”

zoe adalyn hardbeck//seventeen//human
Zoe huffed and folded her map of the school back up into a small square. She then pursed her bright red lips and looked back out into the parking lot. It was filled with cars now and people milling about. Most of them were older than hers; nothing too flashy and expensive like at her old school. She knew that she should join them.
Brushing a strand of hair back from her face, the female exited her toasty warm car. Immediately she was slapped in the face with gush of cold wind. She shivered violently and silently chided herself for not wearing a coat. Not that she owned any, but she could have borrowed one from her dad. Though she was glad that she had pulled her hair back because the humidity outside would have caused her hair to look like a giant furze ball.
Readjusting her bag, Zoe walked across the parking lot and tried her best to ignore the stares. When she did make eye contact, she'd see the person's eyes light up with awareness and she would quickly avert her gaze. She was the topic of gossip no doubt.
Walking up the stone path lined with dark hedges, she glanced up at the school. It was smaller than the private academy she had been attending. The school was mostly a solid gray or a rusty orange in a few places. It looked weathered down, of all things.
Entering the building, she found that is was as warm as her car had been; if not warmer. It was brightly lit, to the point where the fluorescent lights were almost blinding. There were potted plants everywhere and brightly colored flyers lining the lockers.
There were more people inside, so she had to push her way past the crowd. She focused on the tile floor which was predominately blue and yellow. Those seemed to be the school colors.
Eventually, she found the corridor where the new students were supposed to meet up. There was a guy and a girl facing her that looked friendly enough. There was also a guy and another girl there that seemed to be new too.
Zoe inched close behind them, trying her best not to draw attention to herself. Again, she pulled out her map of the school. At this point, she should have the entire building memorized. She hadn't wanted to walk around with her nose stuck to it, but it gave her something better to do than just stand there and look awkward.

Simon found a stopping point in his book just as people began to crowd around the parking lot. They seemed to form certain groups; cliques, if you will. He didn't think a school this small had cliques.
Exhaling, Simon exited his warm and cozy truck and tucked his book into his bag. He was parked near the sidewalk, so he stood off to the side and decided to people watch. Though, in this case, the people were watching him. It took all of two seconds for the students to recognize the new kid. In that moment, he cursed himself for not wearing a hoodie. He'd give anything to cover his face right about now.
The place was crowded with teenagers all staring at him. He knew that he needed to find a place where he didn't stand out. But that would be for later. Right now, he needed to find some guy that was supposed to show him and the other new students around.
Running a hand through his pale blond hair, Simon held his breath and followed everyone inside of the school. Once inside, he noticed that there was a large amount of potted plants. As if there wasn't enough greenery outside. The lights were a little too bright, to the point where he had to shield his eyes.
While trying to navigate the winding halls, he came across the library. He couldn't resist, so he followed a pair of raincoats inside. The carpet squished beneath him from the water that had been tracked inside. It was quaint and he was pretty sure he had read every book that was there. Still, he knew this would be his favorite place.
He wanted to stay, but then he remembered that he was supposed to be showed around. Though that could only happen if he could find the place. Didn't they give him a map? Knowing him, he probably lost it.
After wandering the halls for a bit, he came across a guy and girl pointing at doors and speaking. There were three kids, two girls and a boy, that seemed to be listening. He wondered if this was it.
"Is this the new student club?" He joked, knowing it was a lame one.

theodore raphael blood//eighteen//werewolf - not triggered
Theo had fallen asleep and lost track of time. He probably would have slept through first period had a knock on his window not woken him up.
He had inhaled sharply and jumped up in his seat. Looking over, he noticed a girl waving at him. At first he didn't recognize her, but through closer inspection he realized exactly who it was.
Opening his car door, Theo offered a broad smile and stepped out of his truck. "Maddie?"
He looked her over, as if seeing her for the first time. Man, had she grown up. He wondered if she remembered all of the times they made mud pies and played make believe in the woods as children. She had always had strong opinions and a headstrong attitude. It was why he had a crush on her as a kid. He always admired her and the way she encouraged him to be himself.
"Wow, I can't believe its you." He chuckled, stuffing his hands in his pockets. His first reaction had been to hug her, but he wasn't sure what sort of response that would merit.
Scratching at his head, Theo grinned and told her, "You want me to show you around?"
He wondered if she was just as excited to see him as he was her. With Alex acting all weird, he could use a new friend. Well, new old friend. Or something like that.
He figured she was cold and was no longer used to such weather. There were large bursts of ice cold wind and it was drizzling. He had grown up around it, but she was more used to- What was it? He couldn't remember where she had moved. Probably somewhere a lot more sunny.
"We should probably head inside. It's a little chilly out here." With a reassuring smile, Theo turned and began to lead her inside of the building. It was much warmer inside, but you had to keep an eye out for puddles. People always tracked water inside, so it was a common hazard.
Theo lead her to the cafeteria, which was filled with a crowd of students. They all turned and looked at Maddie as she entered. He wondered how she felt about the fact that she was all anyone's gossip was about nowadays.
Placing his hand on the small of her back, he lead her to the back corner and away from everyone else. It was the most privacy they could hope to get in such a public place.
Once they were seated at the lunch table, Theo pulled his hair up into a loose bun and smiled at her. "So how have you been? Update me on life."

Amethyst Nyx Blackwell
Sixteen | Vampire | Reality Warping | Aries | Cisgender Female | Pansexual
"It lingers when we're done, you believe God is a woman."
The beautiful vampire noticed Alex's change in demeanor and it made her frown for a moment. She could tell he was a werewolf and it was obvious she was a vampire, but did her presence really make the male so unhappy? She brushed off his attitude change and glanced to the side as a brunette girl approached them. She didn't say a word and looked down at her map. She seemed to want to be invisible and Amethyst understood that and respected that. But, she highly doubted any of them would be invisible. This was Forks. There was no such thing as invisible. She noticed the boy next to her with his headphones in his ears as well. He seemed shy and she was sure he had his reasons. She lifted her chin as the female guide, Lucy, began to guide them through the halls. The vampire hummed along to the music playing from her headphones and looked around curiously. Lucy pointed out the front office and a few classrooms that they passed by. Amethyst made it a point to remember all of this, knowing she would need it eventually. She heard footsteps behind her and she glanced to the side, seeing a male approaching them. When he spoke, she turned to face him. She smiled her warm smile at him and offered him her hand, popping her lollipop out of her mouth. "Sure is! I'm Amethyst. This is August, Alex, Lucy, and Invisible girl." Amethyst spoke as she shook his hand and then in turn pointed out the students as she introduced them. Amethyst twirled around as the group continued walking down the hall and popped her lollipop back into her mouth. Her steps were light and seemed as if she was dancing on the air. She looked down at her feet, purposely avoiding the cracks in the floor. She hummed, not noticing she was being watched. She hopped to a colored square with a giggle and brushed her loose locks behind her ear.

"If tears could be bottled, there'd be swimming pools filled by models."
August shoved his hands back into his pockets after he introduced himself. He listened the the girl, Lucy, speak before she began to lead them around. He thought this whole thing was silly but he might as well waste his time. Less time for him to have to spend in class. August pursed his lips, soft music playing from his headphones. Lucy explained the school's history as she walked, pointing out certain items and classrooms. As he walked, he noticed the tension between Alex and that new girl Amethyst. Well, Alex seemed tense. Amethyst seemed to care less. He wasn't sure why bu his interest peaked, that was for sure. He walked in silence along with the rest of the group. August turned his head as a voice spoke up. It was a male new student, as well. He blinked, watching Amethyst interact with him. He sent a shy wave to the male as Amethyst spoke his name. When the wild girl called the brunette girl in the group Invisible girl, he raised an eyebrow. He imagined that nickname wouldn't sit well with her but it wasn't exactly false. She seemed to be more antisocial than he was, if that was possible. August walked beside Alex for a few more minutes, watching Amethyst avoid the cracks in the floor. He stifled a chuckle as he watched her, finding her goofy nature amusing.
