Corrado glanced at Freya, who still looked exhausted. If they really wanted to, they could likely find these wolves later, but for her health she needed to sleep. It was a good chance for them to slip away, what with everyone distracted from the yelping. Corrado nudged her, gesturing to the trees farther up the hill. They could find shelter for her in there. "Nice meeting you." He said to Maksim and Ersi, beginning to step away. They could go after their older companion, maybe they'd meet up another day.

The female listened to the other wolf's words, her ears pinning back slightly as she realized his suggestion was probably the smartest course of action. Glancing at her brother, the young female took off across the under in an attempt to catch up with her grandfather. Why had he decided to run off so suddenly anyway? Danger was less of a threat in numbers, that's what he always told them.
Maksim | Male | 2 years old
Maksim returned his sister's look and followed suit, scrambling through the icy snow. Barking a farewell to the other pair of wolves they had just met, he disappeared with Ersi over the slope.

Freya walked with Corrando towards the trees. "Thank you." She gave the male a small smile. She hadn't expected him to be so kind to her.

Corrado shrugged at her words as they went along. "You didn't look to good, a wolf shouldn't be passing out randomly in the snow. I can keep watch while you sleep, if you trust me enough for that, of course." He added the last part with a bit of a chuckle. If she didn't, well, then he'd go. Continue on his way of being a lone wolf, and figuring out his life from there. Well, maybe he'd patrol the area a few times, just to be safe. After all, he didn't want to come across her corpse, and know he could've stopped her death. That would bother him for a long time. The trees were beginning to thicken, offering more sheltered places here and there. A dip in the ground beneath a snow covered tree, seemed to offer a nice place to catch up on sleep. "Would that do?"

Freya thought for a minute. Did she trust him? Well, he has been kind to her. He did speak to those wolves for her.
Freya didnt say anything as he pointed out the dip in the ground beneath the tree. "This will be fine." She nodded. "But it would be better if I had someone to share it with." She gave him a small smile. She had decided to trust him after all.

Laika cried out as pain ripped through her body but she forced herself to stand and take a deep breath. “No, we still have time I won’t let them come when it’s still cold.” She started to hobble away, using her brother for support before falling again.

"Don't be ridiculous, the pups are coming now," The old wolf barked gruffly, following the pair of siblings. "I can help you if we just find some shelter." He had seen enough births in his long life to know that pups don't wait for anybody when they decide it's time to come out. Trying to hold them in could lead to difficulties that could be dangerous for the mother.
Ersi | Female | 2 years old
"Baravan! What's going on?" Ersi barked as she finally reached her grandfather with her brother in tow. She paused when she noticed the heavily pregnant female slowly padding away while leaning on another wolf. Was she the one that had let out that call? Either her, or one of the others in this area, as there seemed to be a couple of wolves. Growing nervous, the russet-furred female tucked her tail and stayed close to Baravan as he followed the pregnant wolf.
Maksim | Male | 2 years old
The young male huffed as he reached Baravan and looked around curiously. There were even more wolves here! However, one of them seemed to be in a lot of pain, and Maksim didn't know what he could do to help. Seeing as his grandfather was following the wolf as she leaned on another, he decided to do what he could do aid them and hesitantly padded forward, offering his shoulder on her other side so that he and the other male could hold her up. He kept his ears flat, trying to show he was no threat.

Corrado tilted his head, a slightly surprised look on his face. He hadn't quite expected that, but nodded. "If that is your wish, then." Corrado offered a smile in return, then padded into the dip, circling for a moment before laying down, and waiting for Freya to join him. After she'd slept, Corrado would help her get to wherever she was trying to get to before she'd collapsed. Then... He'd probably have to go. Corrado felt an unexpected disappointment upon imagining their parting. He supposed he just didn't want to be alone again.

Freya continued to smile at his surprised expression. Of course he would've expected her to send him off. When he went in and layed down, she followed. She curled up beside him. "Thank you for staying." It felt good to have company again. Even though he was a stranger, she felt she could trust him. Hopefully he would stick around for a while..

Laika shook her head, whining and twisting. “No! I won’t let it happen yet, I need to find a family for them it can’t happen like this!” The female growled and closed her eyes in pain.

Askaban nudged his sister, letting her know she’s ok. Looking down Laika smiled, cuddling next to her were three lovely pups a male and two females.
Erebus growled and walked along until he saw two wolves and female and a male. “Hey you! Who are you?” (Corridor and Freya)

Corrado gave a small smile, shrugging his shoulders. "No problem, I haven't got anywhere else to be, right?" Just as she was drifting off though, another male's scent drifted past. Corrado raised his head, ears pinned back instantly. While he was sorry to move, he wasn't letting anyone dangerous near Freya. He leaped up, and shove his way out from under the tree to face the new comer. Hackles bristling in clear aggression, Corrado snarled, "Back off." He was a hostile male at heart, if he deemed anything to be remotely threatening Corrado wouldn't hesitate to fight, which wasn't always a good thing. Now he waited tensely for the male's response.

Cerebus backed up a little and growled back. “Listen pup, you’re found to lose this fight, but I mean you no harm. I am here as a friend. I also want to ask if any of you here are the father of pups, there is a young female giving birth.” He said with a shrug and smiled charmingly at Freya.

(and kind of everyone else)Endim sighed, relieved that she has successfully managed to give birth. “Congratulations, we’re all very proud of you.” She smiled to the new mother. Her attention shifted to Corrado and Cerberus butting heads as she rolled her eyes, however, Cerberus’s comment on not wanting to fight him surprised her. Although she had not known the black wolf for very long, she had a feeling he was probably the type to beat up any wolf that dares to act assertive around him, which made Endim tired. However, she felt a bit of pride in him, strangely enough. After the whole birthing fiasco had cleared up, Endim decided to face the big picture. “Pardon me, but what are all of you doing here? Are you traveling around too?” She inquired. She did not want to seem rude or like she was attacking them, yet it was an odd coincidence that all these wolves were traveling in the same desolate snowy wasteland.
