Lore
Inworld
Inworld is the first of the three realms. It is located in the very center, with its sister realms surrounding it. It is said that, a very long time ago, there might have been a time where all of the realms interacted with each other as allies or trade partners. However, for the longest time the Inworld has been known to be disconnected from the other two realms, probably because it is inside the other two territories and that makes interaction difficult. Instead of relying on magic like Midworld and Outworld, Inworld was too busy focusing on improving their technology. Now their land is run by electronic and metallic objects. Out of all of the realms, it is also the least diverse. So far it appears that the only sapient race living in the Inworld is humans. These humans have completely forgotten about the other realms’ existence, only attributing them to myths and “fairy tales”.
Midworld
Midworld lies in between Inworld and Outworld, hence its name. It is the home of humanoid creatures; ones that look like humans but are not quite or one that looks exactly like humans, but can use magic. For example: Fae, elves, dwarves, merfolk, gnomes, leprechauns, vampires, and even some orcs. Midworld is lush and full of plantlife. There land grows with the largest and most prettiest plants and animals are abundant as they roam by the beautifully clean rivers. The reason why Midworld is so well kept and full of flora and fauna, is due to its biggest and most successful kingdom, the kingdom of fae.
Outworld
Outworld rests around Midworld, the encircling kingdom of all the other realms, and the one that touches the vast unknown. As Midworld is home to magical humanoid creatures, Outworld is home to magical nonhuman looking monsters, such as most orcs, trolls, goblins, dragons, griffins, unicorns, werewolves, and of course, reapers. The land of the Outworld is a bit of a desolate place. Most trees are thorny and deserts and dark forests are the most common landscapes. Most denizens struggle to survive, however, there are some successful and even high-class kingdoms, most notably the kingdom of reapers. Due to their struggling land and how they are the most outside realm, this has created negative stigma about Outworld in Midworld territories, leading to the two realms’ shaky relationship that they still have to this day.
Faeries
Faeries, or fae, (or alternatively fairies, the commonly misspelled term created by humans), are creatures native to Midworld, who are not too far off from what Inworld . They are humanoids with pointed ears and majestic wings, however, what humans don’t know, is that fae also have mysterious, golden, slitted cat-like eyes and long antlers protruding from their forehead. Even the females have antlers. The fae were created by the goddess of life to allow the creation of nature and to oversee change. All fae, regardless of their occupation or ranking, make sure that the four seasons pass, with every seasonal transition going around and doing certain tasks to allow life to go on. These tasks include creating new plants during spring, guiding animals to and from sleep, changing the weather and the temperature of the air, and changing the color and removing the leaves of trees. Faeries use their magical abilities to perform these tasks. These powers include plant manipulation, zoolingualism (the ability to talk to animals), animal shapeshifting (although all animal forms have the fae’s signature antlers), weather manipulation, flying, and mild cryokinesis (ice manipulation). Despite the fae being powerful, majestic, and even a bit snobbish at times, none are more powerful than the royal family.
Reapers
Unlike faeries, reapers are very different from what Inworld humans think they look like. Reapers are short, black, wolf-like creatures with wolf skulls for heads who live in Outworld. While they are sophisticated and sapient, most of them walk on all fours. They were created by the god of death to reap the souls from dying bodies and bring them to the afterlife. Like fae, reapers use their powers to do these tasks. These powers range from being able to take the soul out of someone’s body (effectively killing them), teleportation to any of the afterlifes, being able to shapeshift into a more beastly form (which they use for protection), and mild pyrokinesis (fire manipulation). While they have less powers than faeries, they are as equally powerful as them, hence why the two kingdoms are some of the most successful. Also like the fae, the royal family of the reaper kingdom are much more powerful than non royals. Not only that, but they also look physically different. Royal reapers are less like wolves and more like werewolves. Not only are they the same size and shape of a humanoid, but they also stand on their hind legs. They also have large, black raven-like wings on their backs and multicolored markings all over their body, colored by either three warm colors or three cold colors. The reapers have a shaky relationship with the fae, especially since reapers are monsters who deal with death and fae are pretty humanoids who deal with life.
The Arrangement
As you may know, the goddess of life created the fae and the god of death created the reapers. Each of them did their job to make sure life and death would progress throughout the world. However, as the kingdoms of Midworld and the kingdoms of Outworld began to form, the fae became paranoid of the reapers. Soon urban legends began to grow about the reapers ranging from how they found reaping souls enjoyable to how they would eat any Midworlder who would enter their territory. The reapers soon learned of these myths and were furious, so they went to confront them. However, this only caused more problems, as this confrontation caused a lot of misunderstandings that led to the Great War. After the Great War ended, the faeries and the reapers were no longer enemies, however, their relationship was still shaky for thousands of years. Luckily, the two races soon learned of a prophecy. The prophecy foretold that thousands of years later, the royal reapers will birth the next in line to the throne named Zod, and Zod will find the lost red-headed descendant of the royal fae family, mark her, and the two will partake in an arranged marriage that will end this conflict. The two sides agreed to this prophecy and waited patiently yet eagerly, until one day, a prince named Zod was born.
The Prophecy
To prevent a battle to promote a god,
Begins with the birth of death, a boy named Zod.
Who will meet the Fae with the Head of Flames,
The lost descendant of faery fame.
Their souls intertwined forever last,
Or otherwise war will come to pass.
The Story
It is the modern era, and we focus on one normal girl lives in Chicago. She lives a normal, yet boring life with her loving, her overprotective parents. One day, while at the park, she is scratched by some sort of animal. Panicked and scared, she ran back home to get help. A few days later, she hears a knock at her door and opens it to find a strange werewolf-like creature with a skull for a face. He tells her that he is Zod, king of the reapers, and that he is here to bring her to his castle in “Outworld” to begin preparing for their arranged marriage. Confused and surprised that magic and monsters exist, the girl asks her parents what’s going on. Her parents reveal that they are actually faeries, and that they had used a disguising spell to disguise themselves as humans and had moved to what they called “Inworld” to protect their daughter from intruders. They tell her that she is “the fae with the head of flames”, a fae royal who’s apart of a prophecy where she has to marry King Zod in order to stop any possibly upcoming war between the two races. Now as the royal faery family and their servants head to Outworld to stay with King Zod and his servants, will the girl be able to fall in love or will a second war strike the two, or possibly three, realms?
King Zod
King Zod is the next in line to the reaper throne. He is technically already king, however, in order to go through his full coronation, he’s going to have to go through his arranged marriage. King Zod is a royal reaper, meaning he is has a werewolf-like body, a wolf skull face, long black raven wings, and colorful body markings. King Zod’s markings are a mix of reds, oranges, and yellows, like that of lava running down his fur. Zod, despite being the new king of the reaper kingdom, is really a bit awkward towards others. He tries to act as polite and kind as possible, though he’s a bit clumsy and sometimes his wolf-like instincts kick in, leading him to do something accidentally embarrassing. He’s a bit shy and a bit of a doormat, but he’s really sweet and will protect you profusely with his life if someone tries to hurt you.
The Fae with the Head of Flames
The Fae with the Head of Flames is exactly the opposite of Zod. She’s tough with a feisty attitude and isn’t okay with going with the flow, as she likes to know every possible information about something before she goes along with it. She has a bit of a temper, especially since she isn’t okay with having her life flipped upside down and then having to be forced into an arranged marriage. She’s an energetic young girl who wants adventure and more out of her life, although this may be a little too much for her. She does have a funny, kind, and even loyal side to her when you get to know her though. She has darker skin and long red hair, hence her nickname of “The Fae with the Head of Flames”.

Rules
-Please read everything before you make your form, I know sometimes some of you don’t and you miss important lore and rule stuff.
-No sex or birthing scenes, blur that out.
-Only mild gore like cuts, small amounts of blood, etc.
-I’m indifferent about swearing, as long as none of the swears are slurs.
-No godmodding, Mary Sues, or other OP characters.
-You can’t kill or have a relationship with someone else’s character unless you ask them permission first.
-No fighting OOC, you can IC.
-Even though Midworld and Outworld are filled with other types of races and creatures, I would like for the only playable races in this thread to be faeries and reapers.
-I would prefer for this to be a group thread with each person playing a different member of the castle, however, if not that many people join, then I can make this a one on one BXG thread.
-King Zod and the Fae with the Head of Flames MUST be the around the same age as each other. Otherwise that would be gross.
-This is kind of a more slice of life thread that is influenced through characters’ interactions, and shows life in the castle while everyone is preparing for the big wedding.
-The thread will start off when The Fae with the Head of Flames opens the door to find King Zod telling her he’s here for their arranged marriage.
-Let me know if you want any specific positions like captain of the royal guard or cook or whatever.
-If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or major plot ideas, PM me please.
-If you read all the rules, write “Until death do us part” in Other

My Character
Name: Phoebe Miller
Age: 19
Gender: Cisgender Female
Sexuality: Demisexual
Species: Faery (apparently)
Powers:
-Plant manipulation
-Zoolingualism
-Animal shapeshifting
-Weather manipulation
-Flying
-Mild cryokinesis
Rank: Newest Faery Queen
Physical Appearance: Just like her title in the prophecy states, Phoebe has long fiery red hair, though it’s unsure if she died it or not. Her skin is a bit on the darker side, and in her human form she has bright green eyes. In her faery form, she looks mostly the same and only gains her faery qualities. Her eyes become a beautiful golden amber, and her pupils are slitted like that of a cat’s. She has long, pointed ears, and her wings are curly and intricate, like that of a butterfly’s. She also has a scar on her chest from when King Zod “marked” her. It looks like a normal scratch from any Inworld animal, however, whenever she is close to Zod, it starts glowing the same lava-esque color as Zod’s markings.
Personality: Phoebe is a determined young girl with a bit of a temper. She doesn’t like standing in the sidelines or being forced into things, especially into romance. She likes to do her own thing, follow her own path, and make her decisions without being treated like she isn’t there. However, sometimes she can portray these passionate feelings in her abrasive nature and hot-headedness. She doesn’t mean to harm anyone, it’s just that she can get frustrated when her life is constantly dictated for her, especially during the time of her life where she lived in a boring normal town. Even though she wanted more than a boring life in Chicago, she thinks the magic world is a little much. Something about the supernatural weirds her out, despite it apparently being a part of her. She may seem rude, but she’s really a sweet yet unsure kid deep down. She’s a bit insecure, and really just wants someone to understand her. She may have trouble making friends, but when someone gets to know her, she shows her funny side, and can even use her fierceness to protect her loved ones with immense loyalty.
History: A long time ago, Phoebe was born in the faery kingdom in Midworld. Her family’s reign was cut short, however, when their castle was attacked by outsiders. Frightened for their lives, but most importantly for their daughter’s safety, the king and queen fled to Inworld and disguised themselves as humans, staying safe until it was safe to come back and the attackers were found. However, until then, they were to rule their country in hiding. Due to Phoebe only living in the faery kingdom as a baby, she only knew life as a human. To her, “fairies” and monsters were all fake and made up in stories. Her life was changed one day on a walk to the park. She had been bored with her life, so she decided to go against her parents’ wishes and go to the park at night. While she was sitting on a park bench reading, some animal raced up to her and scratched her. Scared and injured, Phoebe ran back home in a panic. A few days since the event, she heard the doorbell ring to find a strange creature at the door telling her that they were there for their arranged marriage, and the rest is history.

Physical Appearance: Ezra is a small fluffy wolf-like creature with brownish black fur. She has a long, slender wolf skull for a head with long pointed wolf ears at the top of it. She has faint red markings throughout her skin, however, it’s not as colorful or noticeable as the royal’s.
Personality: Ezra is small, but mighty. She wasn’t made one of King Zod’s royal bodyguards for nothing. She is a feisty ball of energy who is suspicious of outsiders, but that’s more because she is very loyal to her kingdom and is a bit overprotective of them. She has a bit of a temper and can sometimes get a bit into her own head, but she always has the best of intentions, even when she may seem like an antagonist. She is a top class fighter, but she isn’t the captain of the royal guard, although she wishes she was.
History: Ezra worked all her life to fight and serve for the royal reapers. She had always looked up to them as idols. When she finally made it as one of the guards, she was proud of herself. However, it only got better when she met King Zod, however, she was always too afraid to talk to him, and protected him from the shadows instead.
