  • the nurse brought them into a room and says"the doctor will be right with you and please change into this." she had her a nightgown. She nods her head and the nurse walks out if the room. She gets undress not really caring if Ryder was there and get dressed.

    (Can you play the doctor please)

  • Ryder sat down on a chair, running his fingers through his hair and letting out a breath. It was a few minutes before there was a knock on the door and the doctor walked in.

    “Hi, I’m Dr. Kay.” She said with a smile as she glanced between the two of them. “I’m going to do a quick exam, estimate how far along you might be, and get some bloodwork done.”

  • “It’s necessary.” Dr. Kay said with a small smile. She turned to get everything ready for the blood work.

    Ryder shifted closer to Chloe and gave her a reassuring smile. “It’ll be okay.” He said as he held her hand.

  • - oof I’m sorry I keep disappearing, life keeps getting in the way D;

    “Just look at me,” Ryder told her, squeezing her hand gently as the doctor tied the band around her upper arm. “Looking will make it worse.”

    Dr. Kay then pressed the needle into her vein, releasing the band around her arm after attaching the tube for the blood work. After finishing, she taped down gauze for the bleeding. “See, super quick.” She said with a small smile as she stood from the stool. A nurse came in and took the blood off to the lab. “Alright, ready for the ultrasound?”

  • “Of course,” he said with a small smile.

    The doctor handed her a paper towel to tuck in her waistband. “This might be a little cold,” she warned as she applied some gel to her belly. She studied the monitor as she moved the probe around. “It seems you’re having twins.” She said finally, highlighting the two shapes on the monitor, labeling them baby a and baby b.

  • His eyes widened slightly at the news, unsure how to react. He had barely processed that they were having one baby, let alone two. He ran his fingers through his hair as he shifted his eyes to the monitor, staring at the two shapes that at this point, more resembled blobs than human beings. “Two babies,” He said to himself in disbelief, shaking his head slowly.

    “It’s always a shock to a lot of parents,” the doctor said as she printed out the ultrasound photos and handing them to her. “I’ll write you a prescription for some prenatals. Do you have any questions for me?”

  • The doctor smiled at the two teens when Ryder shook his head. “Alright, I will see you back here in a few weeks for your next appointment.” She then left the room.

    Ryder stood slowly, stretching a bit as he looked over at her. “I can’t believe there’s two babies in there.” He said quietly.
