The other day, she managed to twitch her legs. That was a good sign. A great sign! Frostfall's large paws were scrapping at the ground, causing holes in the dirt. Evenly spread apart. She was getting tierd if this. Being paralyzed and all. It was restraining and her front legs were getting soar from lack of movement. She was inside today and getting lost in her thoughts. She had told Buzzardflight prior that she managed to move her back legs and he had said that he'd send a few warriors in to help her get to her paws and see if she could stand, and if she could, to see if she could walk. Frostfall prayed that it worked.

Before the badger attack she had lost faith in StarClan and had said so. Then right after she was attacked. The Maine coon took that as a sign to believe and that losing your faith does terrible things to you. Like how Jasperstar can't trust anyone is karma done upon him by their celestial ancestors. Frostfall waited for the sent warriors to approach.

  • ONLY LORD KNOWS WHEN I'M COMING TO THE CROSSROADS SO I DON'T FEAR SHIT BUT TOMORROW

it was pretty unfortunate that frostfall had become paralyzed from the badger attack. coalslash, himself, nearly became blind but luckily he wasnt. and he was glad to have been able to get rid of the badger, for now. but buzzardflight had said that frostfall was ready to start to walk again, and coalslash volunteered, his ears pushed forward as he walked into the medicine cat den, the girlie figure slowly settling down. "you about ready to do this, frostfall?" he asked, his silky fur fluffing up slightly.

The tabby form seamed to perk up at the response and she purred. "Yes I am! I can't wait to get back into the action." She meowed. In all honesty, she wanted to find Frogleap and talk to him. That and she wanted to visit RiverClan to talk to Rootlegs and appologize for her inappropriate behavior that they left off on. White front paws slid out of the holes dug and set into a firm place. On her own she could get an inch or two up, hut not enough to get her legs underneath her.

  • figpaw had arrived a little earlier and was already in the vicinity when coalslash approached. although he wasn't too familiar with him, the warrior seemed nice enough, and he didn't feel too awkward around him. the tom had to admit that he was initially a little bummed at being asked to help out: he still struggled with his own leg on the daily, joint pain and the brooding frustration frequently haunting him. but fig decided he was bigger than that. it was an honour to be asked to be asked for your input, and the apprentice took it in his stride, feeling a little more important and useful than usual.

figpaw's pale green gaze was focused yet undoubtedly soft. he'd gotten considerably more comfortable with the previously frightening frostfall since they first met.

"just take it slow, remember. when you get comfortable is when it's most dangerous - that's when you start, uh, falling and putting too much pressure on your joints and all that stuff." he might have been talking out of experience. he probably was.

Today, she could feel the grass on her legs. Which was a great sign! Frostfall ignored all the troubles she had in the past and was focused on right now. No thoughts of Frogleap in this moment. Surprisingly. She beckoned Coalslash over to her side. "Let's see if these legs work!" taking the thoughts of the apprentice into account, she leaves herself for the coming pain

  • ✦ ✧ ✦ It had been a while since Frogleap had spoken to Frostfall. Beyond the occasional check to see how she was recovering, he had had little interaction with her in recent days. A combination of tension and guilt had kept him away, but now they seemed to subside a little, letting him finally come to visit her.

Poking his head in, he could see Frostfall moving around. A promising sign all things considering. Figpaw and Coalslash were also in the den at the same time, with the young apprentice even offering words of encouragement.

"Hello Frostfall," he greeted, keeping his voice calm and steady. "How are you feeling today?"

She was about to start trying to stand when an unwelcoming mew hits her eardrums. F-Frogleap? Her eyes widened open and she looked over at the entrance to see the brown tabby warrior she had fallen in love with. Was she still in love with him? Frostfall honestly didn't even know. All that she knew was that her heart aches and she wants to be by his side. Her heart shriveled up and her body grew stiff. "Frog...leap." She said slowly, trying to figure out what to say. She had so many questions for him! Like, did he come visit her while she was under? Or, did he try to save her? She... honestly doesn't remember the badger attack but knows OF it. She doesn't even know the wall that she and Frogleap built was destroyed.
