TAMARIND
OVERVIEW.
☾ Tamarind | "Tam" | male
☾ 13 moons | ages at rper's discretion
☾ BloodClan born and raised | tyro
IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
☾ hard of hearing (see below for more information)
☾ tends to speak very loudly
☾ recently returned from captivity
APPEARANCE.
☾ white bobtail with yellow eyes
— Tamarind presents as a perfect mixture of both of his parents. Looking at him, one would be hard pressed to decide which portion of the family he resembles most. He has the large, powerful build of his father, and shares Sheogorath's jawline and curves, but his long legs, tufted ears, and bobtail were inherited from his mother. Although the shape of his eyes match Jailbird's, the molten yellow of his irises, as though reflecting dancing hellfire, belong to Sheogorath. Tam's coat color is, alone, his own. Long, pillowy fur coats his body, the same silken white as an angel's wings.
— notable scars & injuries: Following his captivity, Tam is covered in scars. The most notable snakes from the corner of his ear down his throat and leg.
— For genetics, Tam is white masking blue-silver classic tabby.
PERSONALITY.
☾ If pride is a sin, Tamarind is the ultimate sinner. There is little this tom isn't proud of. He has a strong sense of heritage, and values his parentage to an almost obsessive degree, acting as though he believes it gives him rights that others lack. He's a BloodClan patriot, and a strong supporter of the concept, "My clan, right or wrong." Although he might not agree with every ideal BloodClan flouts, it is his home group, and he therefore supports them. Tam is something of an isolationist; despite believing that it is important for everyone in the Clan to have strong ties to one another, he is picky about who he spends his time with, and would prefer to have as little to do with outsiders as possible. However, overall, he's a nice guy—Tamarind is friendly and soft spoken, even if given to displays of arrogance. He has an inquisitive mind, and tends to question what he is told but a practical outlook: although he'll never accept something just because someone in a position of authority told him, he knows better than to make an enemy because of something he can't change. Amongst family, his softer side is almost all that can be seen: he has something of a big brother personality, and although he might tease his littermates, he is almost unnaturally patient with them and his parents, and sees it as his responsibility to be unconditionally kind and loving to them—something he would be hard pressed to admit, and extends only to his close blood relatives.

TAMARIND
HISTORY.
big wip
Born to Sheogorath and Jailbird in BloodClan, Tamarind was the eldest of his litter. As one of nine kits, he always had someone to play with. As a child, perhaps his closest playmate was his sister Artemis. Where his relationship with his littermates was strong, his relationship with his half siblings was more strained. On the one hand, Tam admired them, but he wasn't always the happiest about their attitudes toward him and his littermates, which spanned from "aren't they cute?" to resentment. For the most part, his youth passed without incident. He was always a BloodClan patriot, and perhaps the most interesting thing that happened to him was the night he spent in a twoleg den, after sneaking in with one of his sisters to explore it.
Things took a turn for the worse as he neared the age of five moons. Exploring an alleyway one day, he chanced upon a large cat who seemed to know him. Tam demanded that the cat leave BloodClan's territory, but it just laughed, revealing a row of glistening teeth. In turn, it suggested that he come with it or it would harm his family. Tam didn't believe the cat, and said so. At once, the cat jumped him and knocked him unconscious. When he awoke, he was in a cellar. The cat stood before him, a fluffy tail hanging from its jaws. It told him that the tail belonged to his sister Artemis, whom it had killed because Tam hadn't obeyed it. The tail looked and smelled like Artemis; Tam had no reason to think the cat, who he privately began referring to as 'the Evil,' was lying.

NOTES: HIS HEARING.
QuoteMild hearing loss
Mild hearing loss means a person may have an inability to hear soft noises and speech in a loud environment. Those soft sounds typically are in the 26 to 40 decibel dB range and therefore an audiologist will describe mild hearing loss as being between 26 to 40 dB.
Moderate hearing loss
Moderate hearing loss refers to an individual's inability to hear soft to moderately loud noise and to understand speech whenever any background noise is present. These soft to moderately loud sounds exist in 41 to 71 dB range and therefor an audiologist will describe moderate hearing loss as being between 41 to 71 dB.
QuoteDisplay MoreMild hearing loss
What is mild hearing loss? On average, the most quiet sounds that people can hear with their better ear are between 25 and 40 dB. People who suffer from mild hearing loss have some difficulties keeping up with conversations, especially in noisy surroundings.
Moderate hearing loss
What is moderate hearing loss? On average, the most quiet sounds heard by people with their better ear are between 40 and 70 dB. People who suffer from moderate hearing loss have difficulty keeping up with conversations when not using a hearing aid.
Severe hearing loss
What is severe hearing loss? On average, the most quiet sounds heard by people with their better ear are between 70 and 95 dB. People who suffer from severe hearing loss will benefit from powerful hearing aids, but often they rely heavily on lip-reading even when they are using hearing aids. Some also use sign language.
Profound hearing loss
What is profound hearing loss? On average, the most quiet sounds heard by people with their better ear are from 95 dB or more. People who suffer from profound hearing loss are very hard of hearing and rely mostly on lip-reading, and/or sign language.

- Mild hearing loss: If one-on-one conversations are fine but you’re having difficulty understanding some words when there’s a lot of background noise, you may have mild hearing loss. Technically speaking, it’s defined as having hearing loss between 26 and 40 dB in the speech frequencies.
- Moderate hearing loss: At this level, you are asking people to repeat themselves a lot during conversations – in person and on the telephone. Individuals with this degree of hearing loss cannot hear sounds lower than 40-69 dB.
- Severe hearing loss: If you can’t hear what people are saying without the use of a hearing aid or other amplification, or you tend to rely on reading lips to understand the conversation, you may have severe hearing loss. Individuals with this degree of hearing loss cannot hear sound lower than 70-94 dB.
- Profound hearing loss: If you have profound hearing loss, you can only hear extremely loud conversation or sound – and even then it’s difficult to understand without a hearing aid or cochlear implant. You may prefer using sign language to communicate. Individuals with this degree of hearing loss cannot hear sound lower than 95 dB.
I was planning on mild in one ear and moderate in the other but I'll have to sort through this first and compare it to his previous posts dealing with hearing loss
