Fury stepped into the sunning rocks of what she had assumed was Thunderclan territory. Her delicage ears flicked at the sounds of the river below her. What a soothing sound the water made when allowed to run freely, Fury rather enjoyed the peace that came with this part if the territory. Her black pelt held in the heat from the sun, and she purred as it warmed her to her bones. Finally she bunched her muscles and lept into the water. She didn't mind the shock of cold or the weight the liquid added to her fur as she swam to what she had been told was Riverclan territory. Her powerful legs pushed her to the shore and she glided out of the water effortlessly. Glorious! She almost wished Darkpelt was here to share this with her, or even Blazefrost. Grief hit her for a moment but she shook it off, along with the water on her short coat. Time to introduce herself to Riverclan.

———— SPRINGHAWK ————
YOU PRACTICALLY GIVE ME NIGHTMARES
Unless it was kits, or a young apprentice joining, Springhawk was not found to really like outsiders. But then again, that was how she really was. She really didn't like anyone trying to just join Riverclan. She had been born into the clan, so the way of the clans was born into her blood. So, if Springhawk ever seemed rude to others, that was the reason behind it. She was loyal to her family, which was what Riverclan was to her. After her littermates all died, she really began to claim Riverclan as her family. Her parents were elders once before, until they joined Starclan. "Who are you?"
"Speech."
-
Fury stopped her grooming as a voice reached her ears. She looked up from her paw, her intense dark amber eyes taking in Springhawk as a whole as well as the individual structures of the RiverClan cats features. Finally she smiled warmly at the warrior as she spoke, "My name is Fury, I have traveled far to find a new home. I have already visited Windclan and Thunderclan in an attempt to see what each clan is like before I make a decision for my home." She sat up, still slightly wet form her swim but she seemed unbothered by it,
"Tell me, What is RiverClan like? Do you all really catch and eat fish?"
Fury had nothing but keen interest in her eyes as she spoke, her gaze only holding focused on the cat in front of her. She truly was curious, her mind even wondered to her memories of Runestrike, and how he ahd fallen into a river when their allies had tried to teach him to fish during their meetings. She didn't let this nostalgia show however as she waited for the she-cats answer.
-
— As of the BloodClan raid alongside ThunderClan, he seemed to always have his hackles raised when he walked past their border. So when he saw the she-cat crossing the river with no problem, he almost felt a twinge of fear. Had the two Clans learned the skill that had been so unique to RiverClan? No, wait. This cat held no scent to categorize her into either one.
But she was an intruder nonetheless, so with a sour expression, he approached. Padding to stand beside Springhawk, still looking rather defensive. “Yes.” The one simple word speaking levels of his mistrust in the she-cat. “There is much more to our Clan then just feeding on fish.”
-
Fury nodded, as if Eelpaw had been there the whole time, "Well I would hope so!" Her whisker twitched as she smiled warmly at the younger tom, "It takes powerful cats to swim across rivers like the one you posess. Your ancestors must be so proud." She purred softly and then gave her chest a few licks before continuing, "I do apologize for having intruded, but I was hoping to meet some Riverclan cats. No better way to learn what a group truely stands for then to talk ti its members." She looked Eelpaw over with the same intense curiosity as she leaned in ever so slightly to sniff the tom inquisitively, "How do you swim when you have such a long coat? Do you train harder? Or does it actually help you stay afloat?"
-
"well i can't speak for him, but in my opinion having a long coat is kind of a bother. not because it weighs you down, but because it gets in your mouth when you try to swim or dive, and beleive me- having fur in your nose and mouth is not pleasant." chatty as always, weavingpaw feigned disgust to go with his comment before grinning at nightfury. "so, i overheard you saying that you visted thunderclan and windclan before coming here. pretty cool. if you don't mind me asking, what did you think of them?" he sat next to eelpaw, raising one of his non-existent eyebrows in her direction. he was curious to see what an outsider thought of their whole four clan set-up.
-
The black she cat looked thoughtful for a moment as she thought about what she had seen and heard while in the other clans. "Windclan is fiercely loyal to their land, easily giving out threats to outsiders before getting ti know them, and yet once you get one of them to sit down and talk, their warriors are pretty logical and rational." She looked back at the forest she had just come from and nodded as she meowed, "The cats if Thunderclan are very welcoming, but not to be fooled. They have this sense of acceptance that is also laced with the knowledge that they can and will defend their home." She then turned her intense analyzing eyes on the riverclan cats before her and purred, "And Riverclan appears to be as sophisticated and strong as rumors foretold, if not a little edgy. This place, these clans remind me so much of my old home. And i still have so many more clans to visit! I would be lying if i said it didnt make me just a tiny bit dizzy."
-
huh, she had managed to come up with such astute observations through visits alone? impressive. "well, i hope you enjoy the rest of your time in riverclan, no matter how short it may be." he purred. "and be sure to let me know what you think of skyclan, shadowclan, skyclan, and darkclan the next time we meet." in a way, he couldn't help but admire nightfury. one of weavingpaw's many intertwining dreams was to visit all the clans and experience their individual ways of life. making new friends, going on treks through unknown territory- it all appealed to him. "oh and uh, i wish you the best of luck in your search. i'm sure that you'll soon find a place to call your home."
