Alexander watched as the other male grabbed his clothes for him to wear. It made him very happy to see. “I think I can change. Thanks though.” He murmured. He shifted to sit up carefully before he did manage to change out of them. He seemed to be much more comfortable with the new clothes. He always loved Leslie’s soft clothes. “Now lay down and sleep with me.”

Leslie couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, alright. Give me a moment." He moved away from the bed again in order to get himself some clean and comfortable clothes, one things just being an over sized t-shirt and some shorts since he the kind of person that was still somewhat odd sleeping in just underclothes. He slipped into bed after that, uncertain of how Alexander wanted them to lay.
-
Alexander waited very patiently for the other male to lay down beside him. He then shifted to rest his head very carefully on his chest. He was staring up at the ceiling. He couldn’t exactly hug the other male at the moment, but this was more comforting than laying alone. A soft sigh escaped his lips. “Mm, I love you.” He murmured.
-
"I love you too." Leslie wrapped an arm around Alexander but kept the hold very, very light. It was more just his arm resting over the other. With that he closed his eyes, knowing he needed sleep even if he told himself he didn't want it.
-
Alexander managed to fall asleep quickly alongside Leslie. It helped a lot now that they were home and in a familiar environment. He woke up early the next morning with a bit of pain. He shifted away from Leslie carefully then. He really needs something to drink, but he didn’t want to wake the other up.
-
Leslie's eyebrows seemed to furrow when Alexander moved away but he didn't wake up, but his body was well aware of the warmth that had moved away from him. Once he woke up he'd be upset to learn that Alexander hadn't bothered to wake him up.
-
Alexander was sitting on the edge of the bed, trying to convince himself that he could stand up. He knew that he truly wasn’t able o though. He seemed to be growing more and more upset as he tried to get himself standing. It actually got him to the point where he was crying because he couldn’t get himself standing. Soft sounds were escaping his lips.
-
At the shifting of the bed and sharp sounds, Leslie finally began to wake. He let out a small groan before slowly opening his eyes, desperately wanting to just close them again and try to go back to sleep. That thought only lasted seconds before it clicked that he recognized who was making them and he sat up suddenly, wincing at the black spots that clouded his vision from the sudden movement. "Alexander?" He called out slowly, carefully.
-
Alexander took some very deep breath before he responded to the other male. “I-I can’t stand up. I keep trying to stand up but I can’t. Leslie what’s wrong with me? Why did this have to happen to me? What if I don’t recover?” He whispered. He turned his head to look at him carefully.
-
Trying to shake himself out of his tired state he crawled over to Alexander before gently grabbing his boyfriend's face in his hands, resting on his knees. "Hey, it's okay." His voice was soft and almost cooing. "We just got home and you're still recovering. You will recover. It's just going to take time." He wasn't going to sugarcoat that fact. "Can you try to breathe with me?"
-
Alexander was kind of forced to look down at the other male then. His tears were welling in his eyes before falling. “I-I didn’t want to wake you. I wanted to let you rest.” He whispered. He wished he didn’t have to have the other male do all of this for him. He nodded his head slightly and began to carefully breath along with him.
-
Leslie waited a bit before he stopped counting. "It's better if you wake me up when you need me. I can always catch more rest later. Trust me, if you get up and something happens to you I'll be getting a lot less rest if we end up at the hospital again." He still spoke softly, gently rubbing his thumbs over Alexander's cheeks.
-
Alexander knew that Leslie was right. If he ended up having to go back to the hospital again, Leslie would end up more stressed than happy. “You’re right. I’m sorry.” He murmured. He leaned his head into the gentle touches the other was tracing on his cheeks. “I love you Leslie. I would be a mess without you,” He confessed with a chuckle.
-
"I love you too." Leslie was relieved that saying that made Alexander understand. "And you still have nothing to apologize for, I can't imagine what you're feeling right now and I know it's hard." He let out a soft breath then. "Now, what were you trying to get up for?"
-
“It is really hard. I hope we can sue Noah for a ton of money. He is such a jerk. I can’t believe he hit me with his car.” Alexander confessed with a sniff. He pulled back from the other carefully before he spoke. “I wanted to get some water. I wasn’t super thirsty.” He admitted.
-
Leslie slowly nodded. "Alright. Would you be okay with me going to get the water for you then?" He wanted to show he wasn't just going to force his own care upon Alexander, that he would ask even before doing the simple things Alexander would need. After all, he always asked. Always an added an 'okay' or an 'alright' that clearly held a question at the end.
-
Alexander nodded and took a soft breath. “Yes please. Thanks.” He wanted the other male to know his appreciation as much as he could. Leslie deserves to know how much he loved him. He shifted to carefully lay back in bed once more. He knew rest was important for him now.
-
Leslie got up but not before leaving a soft kiss against Alexander's forehead. He went to the kitchen then to get Alexander a glass of water and any needed medicine, returning to the bedroom within a few minutes. "Alright. Think you can manage to sit up again?"
-
Alexander lifted his head as he saw the other male return to the bedroom. He bit his lip hard before he carefully got himself sitting up. He let out noises of pain as he did so. His ribs were starting to hurt him again. “Thanks Leslie. It feels like it is getting worse.” He whispered.
-
Frowning, Leslie held out the glass and medicine for Alexander. "Here. I grabbed some of these as well since I think you can take them again. Hopefully what they gave us will help." He explained before moving to sit down on the bed.
