    Okay y'all so I had some inspiration hit earlier today and have got a few plot/idea things ^^

    please don't mind how badly this will read, I'm awful at explaining things


    So I've had the idea that shit mostly hits the fan during night time for a while now, and I've actually come up with a few expansions on this idea. Basically, the supernatural entities on the island gain physical form under the light of the moon, meaning that they are incredibly dangerous during this time cos they can interact with and potentially kill you. To make things a bit easier for everyone, they cannot be harmed within the cabin (at least not yet), due to a magical barrier being placed around it by it's previous tenant, the barrier essentially prevents the entities from entering with a physical form, they can go within the cabin with a spiritual form, interacting with objects and doing other spooky things, but they cannot physically harm anyone in there.

    So, unless you're stupid enough to go outside in the middle of the night, you're pretty much safe. Albeit you might have a heart-attack from spirits messing with you (but if you sleep normally, you probably won't notice much anyway)

    Entities can still interact during the day however, but they will not retain physical forms, again meaning they're mostly harmless.


    At least, it will be that way for now ;) it will likely become progressively dangerous down the line however, because things always go downhill in these scenarios :p


    im just glad i had a stroke on inspiration lol, its not much but at least there's some structure to how things work lmao hopefully we can expand somehow

    It's been a while since I responded, I'm so sorry ;_; I've been sleeping and in class, soooooo....


    I'm actually pretty sick. Sick enough that showing up to work today, they almost immediately sent me home. Don't want to spread bronchitis to the customers, I guess.


    That's a p. sick (haha) idea though, them only having physical forms at night. Maybe fear or anxiety or strong emotions feed them too??? IDK

    Jumpsuit is it okay if I change my characters name to cain? Literally still the same sound but with kane I kept saying ka-neh in my head which annoys me . His name must be aesthetically pleasing to my mind lol

    Lmao Dan would be the same, his biggest fear is pretty much fear itself, and since all fear comes from his own mind it manifests as an evil copy of him lol I'm already coming up with plots around that XD

    my favourite trope is when a character's greatest fear is themselves!

    cains other fear is dead things(well a dead person ) so that would be gross


    Maybe the monsters all look different to each individual so they could be looking at the same monster but one sees for example a tiger and the other idk a clown.


    But it would be morbidly amusing if a monster took the form of a persons fear and everyone can see it. So theyre just confused af wondering, "whos scared of dan?" Or before they find out that monster took the form of a persons fear, other characters actually think the monster is dan. Like" hey whats dan doing outside in the middle of the night? "

    Dead things, yeah that would be incredibly gross. But dead things randomly popping up every where would certainly freak people out :p

    At first I thought maybe he just accidentally ran someone over. But I think it would have more meaning if it was someone he thought of as a friend. He had an argument with them on top of some stairs, for the first time cain is actually calling someone out for how terribly they treat him. his friend tries to leave, cain grabs onto them, they yank their arm away from him, stumbling back and abruptly falling down the stairs.
