    in this parallel world, human souls are bound in their lifelong animal companions, known as daemons. similar to the world brought forth by the golden compass, these daemons cannot be separated from their humans. these daemons can shift into different animals when their human is a child but they take a permanent shape as their human reaches adulthood. this permanent shape represents their human's very soul, embodying them in every way. however few believe that once a daemon stops changing, it is thought that the child becomes sinful which is why the gobblers have tried to separate the daemons from their children in an attempt to prevent this. will you stay with your daemon or will evil forces separate you making you into a souless being?

    ── ⊱ plots ;

    - six children ranging from the ages 6-10, are close friends in an orphanage. they all arrived at about the same time due to the loss of their parents. as daemons are beginning to be separated from children, orphanages are targeted first. they set out on their own in a desperate attempt to keep their daemons but what will happen when they find a child whose daemon has been taken by the gobblers. will they try to help and find the daemon or will they just protect themselves?

    i. i understand having short posts every once in a while but at least one to two paragraphs is expected

    ii. make every character unique, i want no similar characters. every main character must be from 6-10 years old

    iii. daemons have multiple forms but we will keep it to three different forms in this thread, i understand that they can shape shift into multiple but this will keep the thread easier to understand

    iv. the daemon must be played in the thread as well so if you are uncomfortable with playing two characters do not join

    v. reserving characters lasts for 24 hours. after this period of time your spot will be given away.

    vi. i welcome diversity on this thread, if you are unhappy with this do not join. hate is unacceptable

    vii. all site rules apply, obviously

    the only female left would be the child whose daemon is missing if you would be okay with playing her. also the daemon may only have three forms for this thread.
