❝ I'LL BE COMING WITH MY GUNS UP, SHOOTING AT THE MOON TO BRING THE SUN UP ❞ Another week, another meeting. Again. Aurum felt like the weeks were all blurring together - Cocoa was back, but being a pain in his behind, and Mikael was still missing - his mind was in a daze and he felt a little stressed out. But he'd push through it, like he always did. "Solaris Kingdom, time for a meeting!" he called out half-heartedly, taking a seat in the usual spot. He was considering maybe he should move meetings to the gardens sometime for something different - but maybe next week.

「 this is life in color today is like no other 」 Time for another meeting, it seemed. Airis wandered over until she could see Aurum clearly, taking a seat in front of him. She wondered what he had to announce this time. As far as she knew, they'd gotten one of the two missing Clanmates back. That was good! At least somebody got to come home. As for the other, she had no clue. Maybe he had come back, maybe he hadn't. Airis frowned as she realized she had no clue even who the second person was, Miko or something. Huh. Lost in her thoughts, the hybrid awaited the meeting to begin.

❝ CRY IF YOU WANT TO ❞
Hira was next to arrive, her tired eyes creased with the telltale signs of sleep deprivation. She didn't mean to be up so late, but she'd had a vividly cruel nightmare about the demon Zarifa told her about which slept within her third little monstrosity, and she wasn't able to go back to sleep since. Instead, she'd been keeping a close eye on her herbs in the gardens - she even managed to plant a couple more herbs down without the help of her loving father this time. With the garden growing so well, the Twilightseeker didn't think they would have any herbal problems for, hopefully, years to come.
The pudgy, British ginger stumbled into the crowd gathered for the meeting, catching the familiar view of Airis. She offered the girl a gentle smile before taking a seat beside the kitsune.

❝ I'LL BE COMING WITH MY GUNS UP, SHOOTING AT THE MOON TO BRING THE SUN UP ❞ Aurum was glad a few had gathered, so he started the meeting. "Welcome, everyone. To start off with, we don't have many joiners, but I'd like to welcome Chartedstars. Remember to say hi, everybody." Aurum started with a smile, before moving on, his face drawing solemn. "You may be aware, but Mikael and Cocoa have been returned to us. Mikael seems unharmed, however Cocoa returned in a bloody mess. He has been grounded and will be confined to the camp until he recovers - if you see him outside of camp, notify me. I will not have any Solaris members decline healing if it means they'll end up dead." he said bitterly, sighing. "I'll continue in a moment with an announcement and promotions."

Zarifa arrived at the gathering more late than she usually would have done. Like always, her chin was raised and her gait was a graceful, but sly one. Her chimerical eyes peered up at Aurum as she took a seat beside Hira. She was happy about Aurum's news.

JUST TAKE IT ALL BACK - I'M NOT THE KING OF ANYTHING.
Mikael arrives promptly after Aurum gives the news that he and Cocoa had returned to the safety of Solaris Kingdom. Aurum said he had been unharmed, save for a couple of bruises and the resurfacing of horrible memories he had wanted to forget a long time ago, Mikael just seemed shaken by his experience overall despite his odd countenance now. He strolls forth, muscles rippling under his cream fur as he comes to stand by the front. He does not settle himself by Hira or by Zarifa (though he glanced briefly in their direction before ultimately deciding to ignore them both) and lowers himself into a seat up front. Heide has found herself on Mika's head this time, quiet yet seemingly bothered by something. However, the usually charismatic bat did not say a thing and instead waited for Aurum to continue with the other announcements scheduled for this meeting.

❝ I'LL BE COMING WITH MY GUNS UP, SHOOTING AT THE MOON TO BRING THE SUN UP ❞ Aurum was glad to see the arrival of both Zarifa and Mikael; he figured that now that they were here, he could move onwards with the meeting. "Moving onwards, we're currently looking for any ideas for the Sun Festival - please feel free to contribute." Aurum was a little excited to have something nice to look forward to; it had been doom and gloom for so long. "And promotions and demotions... naomi. , I haven't seen you in ages. Please pick it up." and the next part, well, this was something that made the male a little anxious. "And... HEAVENSBEE A.R , you've been putting in a lot of work lately. I'd like for you to become a full medic - a Twilighthand." Aurum offered a proud smile to his daughter; despite all the hardships they were going through, he appreciated more than anything that she could hold a strong face for them all. "And I've been deliberating for a while on uh... who my Heir is going to be." and he had. He would have preferred to have Phexides by his side, but he knew she had other callings. He hoped he was making the right decision. " ZARIFA , will you be my Duskbreaker?"

Zarifa's eyes slowly shifted her gaze to look at Mikael with only slightly turning her head. He had changed a lot and she was interested in why. Her expression was its usual empty facade, but deep inside she felt sad. He was her friend after all. Zarifa turned her attention back to Aurum. A proud smile rose up on the celestial tigress' face at Hira's promotion. She turned her head to look down at the other third eyed being beside her and attempted to brush her stellary tail lazily over Hira's shoulder. She gave her a silent nod to congratulate her. She was happy that Hira had studied hard even with the terrifying news she had learned about herself. As her eyes directed back to look at Aurum she found herself a bit surprised. Heir...
Aurum must have trusted her a lot. "I... accept, my king."

❝ I'LL BE COMING WITH MY GUNS UP, SHOOTING AT THE MOON TO BRING THE SUN UP ❞ Aurum gave a warm smile at Zarifa's response, and he gave a soft, "Thank you." and glancing around to the others, he added, "That's everything, then. Meeting dismissed."

❝ CRY IF YOU WANT TO ❞
She hadn't expected this at all. The ginger always believed her medicinal skills were far too underdeveloped considering her hesitancy to heal during bloody scenes and the amount of time she took to think before acting and mending wounds. Those were negatives in her practice, and they were obstacles she believed revealed which people were better doctors and which needed more practice. But Gods, this had to be the highest peak in her life — a full medic. An officially appointed Twilighthandof Solaris Kingdom — and she was somewhat a princess around here, too. Her heart swelled with pride and she couldn't help the emotional, grateful tears that spilled from her three honey eyes. A hot blush blossomed over her freckled cheeks as she gave off a nervous giggle. Great, she was crying in front of everyone during a meeting. At Zarifa's gentle touch, Hira broke from her silence. "Th-Thank you, father. I accept, too!" She stuttered out, giving Aurum a warm, happy smile before she dug her face into Zarifa's flank for a congratulatory hug.
