history brief. Zoya was born in Russia during what is known as the Kievan Rus' period. Her family died of sickness when she was 12 leaving her alone to fend for herself. After an encounter with a vampire, which she escaped from with her life and a bite mark she turned into a vampire. Throughout the next few hundred years Zoya accumulated power and money, managing her way through rapidly change regimes. During the 1900's, having growth tired of her homeland, she left to explore other parts of the world and meet other communities of vampires, forming lasting ties and alliances with several prominent families. During the soviet regime she settled briefly back in Russia before emigrating to the US in 1991, and establishing herself as landlord in this subdivision.

(physical) Zoya is 5'9 with a body curvaceous enough to attract the eye while remaining slender. As most vampires she is fit but also has a few extra muscles thanks to her constant fighting. Her skin is pale and sometimes spotted with freckles which match her red hair.

(mental) Zoya is always looking forward. She generally maintains a cool and professional exterior with those she does not know but reveals herself after a while. You can generally claim to be 'friends' with her when you have visited her home, which reveals her softer side. Filled with plants and books, her home is a reflection of her tendency to hoard (while remaining organized), love of knowledge, and interest in life.
