  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — The feline was still quite furious.

Though it had been a few days since her flower crown had been stolen she still was seething. The simple woven flowers meant more to her then any object she ever had. It was not just some accessory, it was a symbol for her. It was the first gift she had ever received after leaving her abusive family. It was reassurance that she could still do good for the world. It was a symbol of hope. Something that had been slowly dwindling recently.

Ella had decided to wander out of the clan territory for a bit. There were so many things stressing her out lately other then her crown being stolen. Nightmares still haunted her giving her little time to sleep, her feelings about Rosemont were still absolutely confusing, and her self-hatred tore her down day by day. It seemed like whatever divine being existed hated her entirely. It was like they just didn't want her to ever get a break. After a while she was slowly losing her 'happy' and 'positive' persona. The one she had when she first joined her clan.

Stopping near one of the half-frozen streams, she took a seat beside of it letting out a soft sigh of frustration. She was getting tired of the misfortune that seemed to linger around her. It was like this cloud that wouldn't go away, and it kept her from enjoying her life. She wanted to try and change it, but even her best efforts were futile. It seemed as though nothing was going to stop her struggling.

Looking at her reflection in the water, a subtle frown graced her features. Was she the problem, or was it everyone else? She couldn't even answer that question anymore. The female knew well that her mind was darkening. It had been since she had been first tortured by her insane mother. It was like every day she was slowly losing a piece of who she was. Was the lost crown a subtle sign of her slow conversion to the darker part of her?

Many questions went through her mind as she sat at the edge of the water.

// IOKUA Here it is! Hope it is okay

  • "Miss me?" He'd inquire in his usual cocky and twisted tone, his signature sloppy half-grin stretching along his muzzle. "My, my. So easy to sneak up." It was amusing to him, watching as his victims finally acknowledged his long-lurking presence. One of the many perks of being a skilled and stealthy thief with plenty of powers to assist with his profession. Dark yet vibrant orbs peering into the gently lapping waters, a small scoff would escape his maw. While the canine secretly battled his own self-confidence issues, never would he be pathetic enough to wear such struggles so visibly along his sleeve. No, you pushed your chin up and kept walking. However, seeing such a slumped posture made it evident that manipulating the female could be quite entertaining. . .

It was unfortunate. Apart from his mugging, Lox actually did his best to appear like a "model citizen". Yet not today, today he was going to be the horrible manipulative person that people judged him to be regardless. "You're away from home. Its almost like you're looking for me." Offering a small wink in her direction, she could easily spot her blue crown resting a top his tall head. Petals tickling his ears with the soft breeze, the lupurca would gently adjust the accessory as though it had always been his.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — "Miss me?"

The feline quickly turned her head as she heard the voice. Her entire body tensed up while her claws unsheathed from their hidden position in her paws. Her green hues narrowed as she realized quickly who it was. The guy who stole her flower crown. She never bothered to learn his name as she had thought she would never see him again. Guess she was wrong.

She remained silent as he spoke keeping a careful eye on him. She noted the sound he made when looking into the water. Normally she wouldn't have shown her insecurity and pain on her face. She usually adorned a small smile that looked quite genuine. She wouldn't show her clanmates how much she was suffering. Not even Rosemont.

At the mention of his suspicion and wink she rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you wish that was the case," she said before noticing the flower crown on his head. If she was the same person she was when she first left home she would have tried to ask him for it. Sadly enough she wasn't the once optimistic and overly kind person. She was darker now, and a murderer.

Ella looked away from the crown and back to the water before her. She knew better then to let him hear her beg. It would only fuel his ego probably. She also didn't know how to really feel about his flirting attempts. No one had really tried to charm her before. In reality no one had really complimented her really except for Niko. It was odd and she wasn't sure how to react to it.

  • Lox didn't see himself as charming, no, he flirted but it was just a minor characteristic of his personality. Regardless of Ella's gender or appearance, he probably would have offered the same comical wink. Whether it was seen as flirty or funny, that was up to the receiver to decide. He could almost pick apart the sadness in her gaze, his brows furrowing as he nearly caught himself pitying the enemy. Was what he was doing making him a horrible person? . . . Why did he care anyway, he was a criminal out to steal not make friends. He never felt remorse when mugging helpless bystanders so why feel it now? Hmph, clearly he needed to get back into his typical thieving behavior.

The fact that she had a flower-crown, however, made him a tad suspicious. What if she had more than just some stupid nature tiara? Generally when someone possessed one item they actually possessed more -- just out of sight. Just like him. Shoot, even if she didn't that didn't mean the rest of Blizzardclan wasn't hiding something interesting he might desire. The real question was how likely would she be to talk to him now? Now that he robbed her of her clearly loved accessory. The lupurca would watch her closely, evaluating her mood in hope to identify exactly what type of sorrow she was feeling. Was it defeat? Disgust? There were many possibilities. . .

"Here." Exhaling a deep breath, the large canine would force such words from his throat with clear distaste. Lowering his cranium to the ground to shake the blue crown off, a small frown would develop along his features. Perhaps he could attempt charming her into trusting him again. While this would be his first attempt traveling down such path, he was confident in his choice. She needed a friend, clearly. Maybe even a boyfriend to make her silly heart go pitter-patter. It was mean, he knew that, but it was a clear opening into finding out just what sort of toys the woman had.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — The moment of silence between them gave her time to get over her confusion. She knew well that no one probably REALLY would like her. Especially if they knew the truth about her. The truth about what she had done, and everything that had haunted her afterwards. If they knew how broken she really was they probably would just leave her. The was only one exception, but even then he didn't know everything.

Ella snapped out of her thoughts quickly as she heard him speak. She couldn't deny that she was a little surprised when he put down her flower crown. It was clear he didn't quite want to though. His tone told her everything. So why would he willingly give up his prize?

Her green hues sparkled with curiosity and wariness as she sat there for a moment. Was he really going to give up that easily? If so then what was his reasoning? Her instincts told her to leave, to just go home, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. Something kept her in her place.

Soon enough the feline reluctantly took hold of the precious item. "Thank you," she said as she gently placed the crown on her head. Her tone shifted from that of hostility to a more polite nature. Her entire body still remained extremely tense, but it was still progress.

  • Ugh, he'd given up his new favorite toy, what pathetic excuse for a thief was he? Hopefully such a difficult task wouldn't go unnoticed, hell he deserved that crown back just for offering to return it. Nose scrunched, the canine's teeth would tightly grit with discontent, his ears flickering with distaste as he watched the crown return to its previous owner. The hard part was gone, now he just needed to manipulate the woman. Being rude wasn't necessarily a skill of his, although it did naturally lurk into his tone at times. Point of the matter, lying wasn't something he was a master at, in fact he typically avoided trying to look like the asshole. But. . . the things you do for love, the love of stuff.

"I'm uh--sorry." He'd begin, awkwardly clearing the scratchiness that formed in his throat. "I think we got off on the wrong foot." This was actually a bit of a struggle for him. Normally he just said what he felt without consideration of the emotions that became triggered in others. Yet, he couldn't do that this time around. This time, he needed to actually use that word-filter he'd been stowing away.

[i got pretty flooded, so i really apologize if my posts seem a little rushed. </3]

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — A flash of amusement fluttered in the feline's irises when she noticed his extreme displeasure. With this amusement though came some curiosity. If he was so reluctant to give back her crown then why did he do it? She didn't even ask for it back or anything. So, why did he do it?

Before she could even come up with a possible answer he began speaking. It was quite obvious he was having trouble with his words. Even someone with poor social skills could hear it. It only brought up her suspicion further. She probably should have left already with the obviously odd behavior, but something made her stay. Was it just some sheer curiosity?

"I believe we have," she said plainly looking over at the much larger canine. "My name is Ella," she said introducing herself properly to the other. Even though she knew better then to tell her name to her enemy she still did. Why she was being so reckless she wasn't quite sure. It likely would bother her more later on when she realized her mistake.
