  • I'D RIP MY WORLD DOWN

She had been locked up away from the world. Not due to her parents, like it usually was, but by of her own volition. To allow her leg to heal. Now it was time to go to the outside world. Blue-silver eyes focused on the camp, the kitten moves out into it. She lets out a sigh, though it sounds content, as she looks around. Did anyone miss her? Care about her? Wonder about where she went? Probably not. "U-uh, hey g-guys!" The naturally nervous kitten called out, desperately looking for someone. Anyone.

  • The first one to come across the kit was Nightgaze, who had just returned to camp with a freshly-caught carp dangling between her jaws. Silver scales danced and shimmered in the summer sun as she dropped it onto the earth before Miraclekit’s paws. “How’s your leg feel?” she asked, settling down in the shade before flicking her long-furred tail over her paws. She knew it was rough to be stuck inside for days and days, especially when the weather was this beautiful. If she were in Miraclekit’s position, she probably would have gone insane. Nightgaze didn’t like the close, contained feeling of camp.

The tabby warrior, too, had been a bit isolated lately, disconnected from the rest of the clan. She did her duty - wake up, hunt, patrol, sleep, repeat. And that was all that needed done. But as of late, it wasn't enough, and again she came back to socialize properly, letting out a low meow as she padded up next to the deputy. Golden eyes quickly moved down to see the kitten's leg, holding back a wince but knowing from experience that it may never fully heal. The medics could only do so much. "As unfortunate as it is, at least the healing process is happening now and not during training. I can only hope it heals fast - I'm sure you're more than ready to become an apprentice, as most of you kits seem eager to start from the moment you understand the mere concept of warrior training."

Oh. The first two to appear were not her parents. How odd, at least to the kitten who was usually watched over by her parents. When she saw the black cat, holding the fish with the illuminated silver scales, she was about to ask a question when the fish was dropped at her paws. Um, okay then! "My leg is fine, and don’t you want that fish?" She asked, turning her head.

And then the other appeared. She seemed to be a nice warrior, but the kitten didn’t think she ever met her. Which was odd, given that she had been around for a long time. She should’ve seen the warrior out and about! A perplexed look came across her face as Twistedtail approached, and seemed to speak a bit knowledgably. And as if she wanted to be a warrior. "Um...

No. I don’t want to be an apprentice yet." She meows awkwardly, trying to think about what the other said.

  • beepaw flattened his ears on his head at the sound of miraclekit talking to both nightgaze and twistedtail. the words that came out of her mouth about not wanting to be an apprentice was definitely one that he related to. he may of been a paw now, but he was not mentally ready for it. the nervous tom kit walked, which more or less had a small limp from his own formerly broken limb, to sit beside his friend, pushing his ears forward slightly. "its okay. I dont want to be one either." he punched in quietly, trying to seem like he was talking about something else, as his tail gently tapped on her shoulder reassuringly.

"BE CAREFUL WITH ME" & TAGS

  • She shook her head, sitting down with her tail wrapped around her paws as Twistedtail and Beepaw came to join them. “No, you and Beepaw should eat it.” The younger members of the clan needed it, especially since she was just recovering from her recent injury. When Beepaw spoke, she became curious. Nightgaze didn’t really want to pry or anything, but it was interesting to hear that he wasn’t looking forward to his future as a warrior. “Why is that?” she asked, somewhat casually.

She blinked, honestly shocked by the young kit's answer, and Beepaw's subsequent comments, turning to look at Nightgaze to make sure she heard the same.

"Well, this is... a first. In all my moons, I never heard of a kit who wasn't immediately ready to become an apprentice, or a warrior, even." Leaving it at that, she glanced back over at the young cats before her, waiting for their response to Nightgaze's question.
